[Argh, she felt so tired. After having two scares of her lifetime one after the other, she just wanted to rest and forget about everything. How did she really get here? That strange beorc female was prattling on what seemed forever and Leanne only caught snippets of what she said. She is wet, hungry and knows for a fact that she is in a place she isn't suppose to be even if it is supposedly 'safe'.

She takes a couple of steps forwards before stumbling and falling to her knees, catching herself just in time to prevent her face from hitting the ground. Well.... That could have a lot worse as she just let out a few whining chirps and cheeps. Okay, lets try this one more time, if feet doesn't work beyond a few steps at a time, then wings should work just as well! She moves one wing to flap weakly before the other only to stop when she looks over to the strange device she was given and she quickly shuts it off! Please let none see that embarrassing display!!!]

Unfortunately for Leanne, Maribelle had in fact seen that pathetic display. The reason for it being fortunate was that Maribelle recognized the young woman as a noblewoman from her time spent as a sea captain. Regardless of what she might remember or what her allegiances were now, she was clearly in need of aid! She packed some pastries and a large thermos of tea, ran out the door of her tea shop, and went for her horse. Riding as fast as she could, she made her way to the scene of Leanne's arrival, the bay!

"Lady Leanne?! Lady Leanne where are you?" She called out for her as she rode on her horse, combing the shoreline in search of the princess of Serenes. Fortunately she was certain that thanks to whatever strange magic was at work in this world Leanne would be able to understand her words. Unfortunately, she wasn't certain whether or not Leanne wanted to be found and if this might be naught but a wild heron goose chase.

NOOOO WHY?!?!?!? Try and save some of her dignity and pretend that you didn't see that display!

Emerald eyes blink at the sound of horse hoofs hitting the ground. Her wings perk up and she pales. No laguz footsteps sounds like that! Panic sweeps over her and she with a sudden burst of strength, hurries to the nearest boulder to hide behind. She peeks out from her hiding spot (which isn't a good one and would be easy to spot at least the pure white wings) as Maribelle arrived and started to call for her.

Oh goddess no, why did this beorc know her name? Was she one of those that hunted herons down? How did she know she escaped from that disaster? Please don't let this beorc find her.

Fortunately for Maribelle, Leanne's big fluffy white wings stuck out like a sore thumb on fire with a neon sign pointing to it in flashing letters. When she spotted them peaking out from behind the bolder she hurried over towards her, staying on horseback all the while.

"Thank goodness you're alright! I thought some brigand might have found you before me, and who knows what might have happened to you then." By brigand she meant Marco who had been a member of the crew she was a part of when Maribelle had known her. She rather hoped that she might be able to keep the princess away from his corrupting influence and finally have another noblewoman to talk to! Weiss was... okay, but she wasn't a noble and was far too full of herself. (Pot calling the kettle black here)

"You don't need to hide anymore, help has arrived!"

Leanne's eye widen Maribelle spotted her and approached. Fear went through her again and goes to try and pry herself to stand up again. As the woman approached her, Leanne goes to flare her wings up in an attempt to make herself bigger and with everything in her, call out.

"Stay back human! Stay away from me!"

That should answer Maribelle's questions and worries if she had any memory of her or Marco.

[You never know what you may encounter while wandering around, exploring the city when Abel came across this winged lady who looks like she is in physical distress.]

[Leanne's head snapped up at the sight of the giant lanky beorc approaching her. Her wings flare up in a vain attempt to make herself look bigger.]

St-Stay back! Stay back human!

[Abel stayed where he is, not making a closer step.]

I'm...I'm not going to hurt you. I promise. You're not in your world anymore. You're in Genssia, another world.

[Whoa, she managed to make him stop.... She goes to study him a little.]

But I don't know you, human. ... That is what I caught the strange beroc with no scent said but that... that isn't true, is it?

Adela was by the bay when she heard the splashing, having opted to stay away from the masqurade and instead was taking a "walk" with her crutch this time instead of her chair. It doesn't take her long to make her way to the beach, carefully looking around to see if she can see the cause.

She thought she saw a flash of white, inquisitive as she tried to see but not stepping foot into the water -- she honestly couldn't not without risking losing her balance herself.

"Is someone there?" Surely whoever it was would answer, though she had to wonder if this person was simply in need of aid or if they were someone frightening and intending to do harm. All she could do was watch and wait.

[[OoC: So uh, couple of things. One, Adela is tiny and currently only has one leg thus the crutch. Two, she is not entirely human -- her father was human, but her mother is a demon and because of that Adela has access to magic b/c that's just how her world works. With that in mind, would Leanne be able to sense any of that off the bat? If not, she'll just look like a human being for all points and purposes. ]]

Leanne blinks as someone begins to approach her and flares her wings. That is until she saw how this beroc is missing a leg and relaxed her wings.

"Stay... Where you are." She doesn't want to startle the other to make them lose their balance. Even if the other is a beorc, they are hurt and it wouldn't be right to startle them.

[[OOC; Someone who is smaller than Leanne? That would help a little in the trust factor cause they are both runts. That would depend... Is she more like her father or mother? If mother, then she would definitly sense it in her. If not, it wold be a small prickling that there is something different about her.]]

A girl? She hardly looked older than Adela herself...

Still, the red head nodded and stayed where she was, though honestly she wasn't going to go into the water anyway -- not unless she was needed to. It was surprising to see the girl's wings though, and for a few moments she gaped, if only because the other was nothing like what she had seen before.

It didn't take her long to shake it off, knowing she was being rude and instead trying again, "Very well. Are... Are you new to this place, miss? To Genessia."

It was a question with an obvious answer, but maybe it would help the girl feel less on edge? Who knew, but she had to try.

[[ OoC: Let's put it this way, right now the only thing that makes her different from any other human being is her ability to use magic. Her body still acts like a human one in all other respects at this time. Whether or not Leanne can sense that is up to you! ]]

This was the first time that Leanne has met someone smaller than her but she didn't smell like a nestling.

She would tell that the red head was staring at her and her wings and tucks them against her back.

"Yes... Yes I am new. How did they kidnap me?"

[ The screeching voice that comes (albeit muffled) out of Leanne's smartphone is one that seems all too amused, and if the heron chooses to turn the screen back on she'd notice the strange girl peering into her own camera. ]

[Leanne's wings poofed at the sound of the strange voice coming from the strange device.]

[Ike sometimes makes trips to the Bay. He doesn't have to, as he isn't employed with the Schnee Company, but he wants to do so anyway, on the rare occasion when someone from Tellius arrives.

Today would turn out to be one of those occasions. Ike arrives just in time to see Leanne struggle to get around. Confusion floods his mind. Why is she having such trouble moving around?]

Princess Leanne!

[Ike rushes over and offers her his hand, concern written on his face.]

Are you all right? Here, let me help you.

[Whoa! WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA! What is this Beorc doing?!? Leanne's wings flare up and poofed out completely.]

Stay away human!! Stay back!

[How did this beorc know her name and she leans away from the offered hand. But she does to look up at him to study his face. Her wings remaining in their position.]

But you are a Beorc....

[Ike freezes when he witnesses Leanne's reaction, and his eyes widen. Did she not recognize him? But then that would mean...]

...Um. Pardon me. I, uh. Assumed a thing.

[He takes a deep breath to collect himself.]

I'm assuming that, back home, you just woke up after a magical slumber. Am I right?

[He then gently raises his hands, palms open, to indicate that he means no harm. He just wants her to answer the question.]

I promise I'll explain what's going on.

[ Wow. Time and time again, Micaiah kept running into people who felt familiar to her, but this time around? It really was someone she knew from her world! She had only seen her briefly, but she could recognize a heron anywhere. ]

I do not know... Where am I? The beorc with no scent kept saying things but I do not understand her words exactly.

[When Fai did take a break from work, he was begrudgingly start to make his way home, yawning slightly he made sure to walk past the bay, just in case. However as he did, he couldn't help but notice the other.]
