A telephone is something that people use to communicate long distances. Like letters in the old days, except much, much faster.

Why bother calling it differently. It is still a communication device. Is there something that makes it different?

I can't I know why it has a name, but then again everything needs a name and something like being called communication device doesn't make it appealing. That and there are many other forms of communication so people would just get confused.

Do you mean like scrolls you can send to other villages using birds?

There is a way like that but that is really old and like war times or something like that.

We also have letters that can travel across the world amd also computers.

Really old? They're still rather efficient though.

We also have computers. Though it is limited to using it to contact the feudal lords of our world.

I'm sure they can be in certain areas. Just not in places I know of.

Why just the one reason for a computer?

Such technologies can be easily traced I suppose. After all, in the type of village I live in, secrecy and silence are the most important things.

Why do you need such privacy? A girl is kind of curious.

At the moment, not a lot. I still have a few years before I actually have to start working, possibly in my fathers business.

So you're in training?

What is your father's business?

In a sense, I'm always in training, but I won't really till I'm a little older. Except now here I'll have to to survive.

[She shrugs slightly.]

I can't say for sure, but I do know my father is a Business Executive never the less, so I guess that's what I'll do when I'm older.

It's always good to train. A Business Executive? What is that like?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, how do you plan on surviving here? What sort of job will you be taking?

It's a very tough job from what I can gather. While it's nice to be able to travel to all these different places, you have business meetings, a tonne of paper work and just its a lot of work, but I understand why a bit.

What sort of job. Oh, I don't know yet, but I have a few ideas I did at home or I wanted to do, but weren't that effective. Maybe here it will be different.

Well, I'm sure with perseverance, dedication, hard work and the support of your family, you can do well at it.

What job might that be?

I most certainly hope so. But here I have to do things by myself.
