Oi! I'm not sure what's going on, but if I'm here that means I'm not in the tower from hell anymore.

[His memories of being outside of the tower had no resemblance to this outside. There were no floors like this, and he was almost certain this was a completely different world from his own and the tower's. He's not even sure if he had his own body, but that was unimportant to the bigger picture. He was clueless to his new situation, and if what friends he had left at Animus were even alive.]

Any one from Animus here? Do you know what happened?

[Everything was falling apart, thats all he could remember before waking up here.]

That would mean there's a lot of different versions...who have different memories.

[On one hand, he was happy that the people who didn't know him had better lives than the people he met back at the tower. On the other hand, it met the people he met at the tower were probably stuck in their home worlds. It was like eternal damnation. There was nothing left. They could have been suffering, and he wanted to save them but he just didn't have power to. Now here he was stuck in a dimension that had no relation. How do you go about doing something like that?]

Do you think they'll resent me? Or will they be happy that I got out of where I was?

[It was a serious question. He was having a reflectional crisis of whether he should be happy he has a chance or broken that he can no longer save the friends he left behind.]

Yeah...which could very well be a possibility.

[The questions were incredibly easy ones. For Sora, anyway- someone who had a rather simple way of looking at things. With him, things were surprisingly black-and-white.]

Real friends only want what's best for you. Sure, there might be times where they can get jealous...and get angry at you. But, in the end, real friendship means that they'd never be angry that you're in a better place!

[Smile.]

I know, if it were me, I'd be very happy for any of my friends, if they wound up somewhere better for them. I'll gladly take the place of any of my friends, if it means they're safe and sound!

[Sora managed to make him crack a smile. It sounded like he had a lot of experience in this field. He supposed that's what made friendships so amazing.]

I would want my friends to have better lives too. To live happily, even if it means I can't be with them.

[He's glad to see the smile, matching it.]

Heh! That's good. [Glancing to the side, he scratches the side of his face.] Same here...

Oi, have you been here long, Sora?

Actually, I've only been here a couple of days. I haven't even been here long enough to find a place to stay.

[He laughs.] The idea of living on my own's kind of weird.

Just a couple? [Was this one of those weeks where everyone came in from different worlds?]

You don't have anyone else from your world?

[He blinks, then looks to the side.] Yeah, it's starting to really look like...everyone can just come in at random.

[Looks back to Jou.]

Well, there's...Kairi, but...

[At least that was some support.]

But what?

W-well, I can't ask her to move in with me...

[He looks to the side, face reddening.] She's a girl. And...wouldn't that be awkward?

[Pause.]

Also, we...uh...Well, some things were said, right before we appeared here, that'd make that...a little awkward, I think. I mean, if she asked me, I wouldn't say no, because I wouldn't...mind...

B-but... I don't...think...uh...

[WOW, suddenly he's feeling incredibly. ...Awkward, as stated twice in the sentences up there. Must be his new favorite word, now.] ..................
