[ACTION + OPEN] GENESSIA CITY | GERALDI'S PIZZAERIA
[She had never liked being wet in her clothes. Unlike most teens who wanted to stand and dance in the rain in full gear, she'd rather stand out in it naked than deal with peeling off a pair of soaked jeans. She was still drying off and now damp after wading through the lagoon.
And now, she was hungry.
She read all the details her brain could muster to remember, and followed the map to the little pizza place. One thing she could enjoy was a good slice of Italian, even the Americanized kind.
Shivering, she found the place and slipped inside, it was a little crowded but not too much. Warm and cozy too. She looked through the money again, then at the menu. Two slices of pineapple and pepperoni would do.
It was finally her turn in line and she told them her order. They said it'd be fifteen minutes.]
What a mess I'm in now. [she murmured to herself, leaning against the counter with her cheek leaning on the palm of her fingerless gloved hand.
Was Chris back home, going crazy with worry like she had?] Irony really doesn't taste all that great.

You're either new or woefully unprepared for the weather. Either way, I have a spare umbrella in my car.

Oh I don't know, irony tastes pretty good if you ask me. It's like revenge and beer. Best served cold.

[she pauses for a moment, then offers her hand in greeting.] Claire Redfield.

Now, if we're talking about sunshine when you've brought an umbrella. Then that might be my kinda irony.

What irony?

[He shrugs and takes a swig of his beer.]
Seriously though, I feel ya. But sounds like you and your brother are closer than me and Vergil were. Keep your chin up and everything will work out.
