1 Game Played | Video/Action @ Aphrodite's Love Matching & Arcade
[When she had first arrived, Chiaki had been very confused. With what happened she was pretty sure she would have been aware of falling asleep. But when she had managed to get out of the pod and check things out, she admitedly was even more confused.
Looks like she was not anywhere near Hope's Peak anymore. But where she was is a different matter. So the young girl walked, looking around at the city, thoughts running through her head as she gripped the device slightly. She was worried. She was worried about her friends more than anything. She was worried about thier teacher as well and yet she was here.
But even though she was worried and she had explored to try and see if she could find her way back she had still found herself standing in front of an arcade and son after found herself playing one of the games, people slowly gathering around as her score got higher and higher.
Her eyes soon glanced over at the device briefly before she managed to get the high score. With that done she moved away to let another have a go before finally switching the device on.]
Ah, so that's how it switches on... [That was good at least.]
So I've looked around and found out what I could, but... Is there a method to know if ones friends are around?
[She just felt like she wanted to check, if she knew she could find out and check. Or at least to find a way back home, but she had already gathered the information that it might not be possible to get back to the school.]
Also I managed to find an arcade, so I feel like I should ask if there are other places like it around?

action!
Even without her career, she tends to stand out in a crowd.
It doesn't take her long to recognise that, on this occasion, there's a lot of people crowding around one particular area. It's enough that she can't quite see what's causing the commotion, but she definitely notices when the cause steps away from the machine.
And from there, it's a matter of seconds before she's running in for the glomp.]
Chiaki-chan! Ibuki should have known you were the one pulling in the crowds!
[Never mind the obvious questions. Right now, Ibuki's not entirely sure she cares.]
action!
However once it settled in and she looked over slightly, it was enough to make her realize that it was in fact someone she knew. She should have really thought that when they knew her name.]
Mi-Mioda-san?! You're here as well?
no subject
[She doesn't elaborate. She's sort of assuming she doesn't have to, because the only other person she knows from home already knew everything.]
Guess I should have known you'd wind up somewhere like this so soon after getting here...you did just get here, right?
[Because she's going to feel really bad if Chiaki's been here longer than a day and she didn't notice.]
no subject
[She is slightly baffled. She knows what she can be like though and just put it down to her being her.]
I got here a few hours ago. I thought I'd ask around about this place and see where it was to the school, but... it seems like that is not going to be the case. [She paused for a moment, her mind already back to what she could recall before she came here again. She hoped the rest of them were okay and nothing was happening.]
no subject
[That's an...odd thing to say by Ibuki's reckoning. Enough that she's actually quiet for a moment, while she tries to make some sort of sense of it.]
Oh! Oh! Could it be, Chiaki-chan is somehow from the past, before we got to the island? That's the only way she could have been anywhere near a school...
[Oh if she only knew how close she was. Of course, this being Ibuki...]
Anyway! Chiaki-chan is Chiaki-chan and Ibuki is happy you're here and that it only took a few hours to find you.
no subject
When did you go to an island? [She was sure she would have recalled something like that.] It's not the only way though, we do go to school as a class.
[But she was smiling never the less, she was happy that her friend wasn't in any trouble, but it made her worried for the others a tiny bit.]
It did but... I assume you arrived here the same way I did... Do you know how?
no subject
[Ah but that makes Chiaki's question a little trickier to answer because Ibuki has to assume if she doesn't know about anything that happened on the island, she won't be expecting what happened to have happened. And it shows a little in her reluctance to answer; Ibuki never has been much good at hiding how she feels.]
Not really. All Ibuki remembers is that she shouldn't have woken up but then she did anyway. But so far Ibuki hasn't seen any murderous teddy bears...it's still not all safe here. But that trouble's only there if we go looking for it.
[Which Ibuki very much has not.]
no subject
[They were remembering two completely different things it seemed, but why would that be the first thing she remembered.]
Do you remember anything from school?
[Also murderous teddy bears didn't sound good.]
no subject
[Something's not right here but Ibuki for now will just assume it's the shock of being here and/or a sleepy moment because it can't possibly be anything else, surely.
But she'll give this another shot. Waking up here's confusing, she knows that.]
All Ibuki remembers is walking into her classroom and meeting everyone. Then we got locked in, then Usami-chan showed up and suddenly we were on an island...but I guess you don't remember that part.
[And the parts after that, she doesn't need to get into.]
no subject
[It was really, really strange to remember two different things. But, why? She couldn't figure that one out at all.]
It's odd... But I'm sure it is something we can figure out... Somehow. [She paused.]
But maybe for now, we can play a game and just push it back for the moment.
no subject
[Oh but now a few things are falling into place. Chiaki's not in what Ibuki normally remembers her wearing but she has seen that uniform before. Which should alone have been proof of her next thought but seeing Chiaki likes this confirms it.]
Then...it all really was really true. Ibuki really did forget...so that means she forgot those things too.
[And then forgot that she forgot, mostly because it hasn't really come up until now.
But hey, games, she is all for that and she immediately moves to grab Chiaki by the wrist so they can look for something.]
Yes! Games are always the answer and this place is pretty good. Not Ibuki's favourite, but not a bad place either.
no subject
Of course, as the Class Representative I felt like it was my duty to help us get along and bond as a class.
[It was also how she made friends with the class, which was perhaps maybe another reason why she would do them, fun times with friends and fond memories.]
There's another place? [Admittedly she was surprised.] Another place with games.
no subject
[Even if the Chiaki Ibuki knows had spent most of her time with her nose buried in arcade games, she had gotten serious where the matter of the killings was involved. Could that have been an extension of that duty? Makes enough sense to Ibuki for her to assume as much.
So games, because it's a much safer subject by far.]
Mhm. Surprised you made it all the way here before finding it, considering it's back in Genessia City. Guy who runs it likes to think he's a total hotshot but it's a fun place and he's not so bad now Ibuki showed him a thing or two of her own.
[At least Johnny had learned not to challenge her to music-based games if he wants to not lose spectacularly.]

[There's a discrepancy though.]
Generally people simply shout out to the world "Here I am, has anyone seen so and so!" type of things. There's no directory if that's what you were hoping for.
[He wasn't sure how he felt about this. But, it wasn't as frustrating as Mioda;s arrival.]
But, as far as I know there was only Mioda san and myself before today.
Video
[So that was two people here now. She was at least glad somewhat they were okay and not in any danger... again. But it still made her worry about those who weren't here. They were back at the school and she as worried what would happen.]
I was hoping... but if it's only you two here that must mean... [She paused for a moment. If it was only them two the others must still be back there, right? They had gone for a reason, but last she could recall the person they were going after had been right in front of her...]
I hope they are okay... [But she couldn't find a way back, so she had to face that fact right now. She needed to believe in them for the time being.]
Is it okay to ask how long you've been here?
Video
[Something was definitely off. And it wasn't just the clothes.]
I've been awake for about a month, though how long I've been here is anyone's guess. Why do you ask?
Video
[Definitely off indeed. She paused for a moment, there were things that didn't make sense, it really hadn't been that long... She was sure of that.]
Because Mioda-san asked me that question before when she saw me. So I thought I would ask.
Video
[But they weren't.... Could this be a Nanami with her school memories?]
Nanami san, there are some things I'm going to ask you and they might sound a little strange. First, what is the last thing you remember? Second, do you remember an island or any sort of virtual reality? Third are the names Usami, Monomi or Monokuma familiar?
Video
The last thing I remember was all of us going to save our teacher as a group and while we were Tsumiki-san pushed me into what I can assume is a secret passage way, away from the rest of you. [She shakes her head slightly. The last lot are things she was unaware of.]
No, nothing of the sort and those names are not something I am aware of. Why? Is there something I don't know?
Video
[Rescuing their teacher? What had happened to them? He didn't have that kind of information. So... it was definitely somewhere in between. That made things a little difficult. In fact, considering everything that meant Nanami was a perfect stranger in this context.]
I wonder if I should tell you....
[However, there was one thing he was certain of. If she was from a time before that then she was at least worth something.]
There may be a gap between us, our timelines don't match. Mioda san and myself are most likely from your future. Potentially. I've heard that's a thing that happens here.
Video
[Timelines don't match, future. Well it's not like she would know for sure what would happen in the future after all.]
Ah... So your from further along than I am? I'm glad if that is true. [Because she thinks it's all okay and she can not worry as much.]
Though... What was that about an island, though? Why did you go to an island?
Video
[There was no reason to mention that they were all horrible people who had no right to live.]
Ah, I should probably mention this as well, while on the island I mentioned, all of our school memories were taken away. So, there are probably some things that will just cause confusion. I wouldn't worry too much about it though.
[He smiled as if that wasn't a big deal.]
So there's no reason to be concerned with the future, but I am still greatly interested in the past. Of course that's if you don't mind sharing. But, if you don't want to share with trash like me I can accept that.
Video
Her eyes widen slightly, they really didn't remember any of there memories. Once the initial shock set in she started to look at the floor, a small frown placed on her lips. It made her honestly a tiny bit sad. if only for a moment anyway.]
I'm sorry if I do cause confusion, but never the less I will move past that if I have to and we can make new memories instead, maybe.
[She paused, did he have to call himself that? She puffed her cheeks slightly.]
I don't mind sharing somethings, but don't call yourself trash. Your my friend.
Video
[It was surprising, it was a little shocking, but it was also the first time anyone had said that to him.]
Someone like me? I wish I could remember.... It feels so difficult to believe.
Video
Of course I mean it. I wouldn't have said it otherwise.
[She paused for a moment.]
I guess since we seemed to be from different points, I can't say I understand why you might find it hard to believe. But that just means I'll try and make you believe it.
