[ The first thing evident when the feed turns on appears to be nothing more than something red and gold being tossed up and down for a moment, followed by a hum and the camera is shifted upward to show the owner’s face. Karma’s wearing a lazy smile, holding up the necklace he’d arrived with. ]

Well. That was quite the little speech there. Bravo to the little lady for getting her message across loud and clear.

[ Spoken in his normal casual drawl, Karma twirled the necklace around one finger in an almost careless manner with his gaze fixed straight ahead. ]

I get that these things are supposed to be some kind of important deal, but I can’t say I understand why I’d need them to be seen as ‘real’. I’m right here, aren’t I? Either way, I guess I’m here to stay now by the sounds of it but I’m not really liking that idea so far.

[ His expression shifts just a touch, his smile edged to reflect his unhappiness as he ceased his toying of the necklace to clench it solely in one hand and exhaling a soft, almost irritated sigh. ]

Just know that I don’t intend to just sit by like some docile animal. That’s no fun at all so try to make things exciting here, won’t you?

Yeah? Can't say i'm exactly acquainted with this place yet so where would you say's the most interesting place to see first?

[Oh, that's a tough one. Especially since Ibuki hasn't even been everywhere yet. But she'll do her best even if it comes out rather stream-of-conscience.]

Well, Ibuki's not sure what you'd find most interesting. Nova City has a lot of cool stuff that's more advanced than anything Ibuki's ever seen before and Fayren has this super-neat magical feel to it that's right out of a story book. And there's one place with zombies and stuff but apparently not cool dancing zombies so bleh to them.

Now that sounds like something I can get behind. Count me in.

[ Though he doesn't get the whole bit where she references herself in third person, she still seems amusing at least. ]

You seem pretty chill about all of that yourself.

Well, Ibuki could be doing a lot worse than she is here. No point getting a second go-round only to waste it, right?

[She's also been pretty open about that, save with one certain person. Excitable as she is, things tend to roll off her shoulders pretty easily.]

Your life at home must have been quite the trip for you to have said something like that.

Trip is indeed the word. A school trip, actually, and a most unexpected one. But...it kinda ended badly and now Ibuki's here and moving right along from that little hitch.

A school trip that ended quite bad, huh? I suppose that's not something you're probably not willing to talk about.

[ So his intuition on that had been right on the money. Who would have thought? ]

What's there to say? There's nothing spectacular about where I come from in particular, unless you count my school life and then that's different. Me and my class are training to kill our teacher before our graduation in a couple months, or there won't be an earth to live on after.

[ He makes a small gesture with his hands, mimicking something essentially going 'boom' so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. ]

[Hmm. His world's set to go boom; her world, going by Monokuma's account, has already done so in a manner of speaking but who knows how true that even is? Still, Ibuki figures it's a tough call on who got the worst deal.]

Man, that would probably solve so many problems. Too bad we're not allowed to even fight our teachers...or...they say they're our teachers...anyway, that definitely sounds like an Interesting School Life to Ibuki.

[ The things he's seen and experienced since this year started had been nothing short of incredible, really.]

Add in some strange transfer students, top-rate assassins, and consider my teach can move at mach 20 speeds and has been the best one my class has ever seen.

Hmm. Well Ibuki can match transfer student and probably assassin too but moving that fast?

[Though now she thinks about it...]

Oh but Monokuma-chan is a very talented evil bear. So maybe he could move that fast.
