Text | Action for Evergladers

The light is dimming.

I have not seen night become so long, or felt it be so cold before. It is amazing, isn't it? So much time to use now!

Everglade is so pretty, what does it look like everywhere else? Is it true leaves change colors? That dew freezes on grass and plants? May I see?

Ted, are you doing well? I miss you, it has been quite some time. Please visit. I will make you dinner if you do.

So much time has gone by now... The last of the gazelle would be grown now I am sure-

It is Ktúber now, yes?

[[ACTION]]

[As for Live Everglade Action... They're really not doing anything too fascinating... Well up until the decide to either fade into a wall, slither and vanish under an object, or straight up disappear.

It happens fairly often enough for them to be blatantly obvious, but they don't really seem to care too much about it.

Actually to be honest they seem to be using their abilities to get free food ninety percent of the time, there doesn't seem to be a moment they aren't holding food, popping food behind the veil, walking away with food, ect.

Someone... should... probably inform them they need to trade something for that food.

Like money.

[Wow, someone asked for him purely for the pleasure of his company, and not to inquire if he really wanted to murder them or something to that effect. How pleasant![

Hah, you might be the first to appreciate the aesthetics of Everglade. It'd be so much prettier if not for that fog, eh? And you cook! Wonder why a shadow would need to eat, really, but then so does Gengar so I suppose there's precedent.

That all sounds lovely. Later on I may have to show you the prettiest spot in all of Everglade.

Oh! And yes, the leaves will change color soon, if not already. Except the evergreens, of course, for obvious reasons. Touch morbid, as that means a kind of death, but I suppose if death were venerated anywhere...

You think so? Does it not cover up?

Heh, ah but then again you're pretty covered yourself. I suppose you could think of fog that way; more a garment than a concealment. Everglade has much to conceal, that's for certain.

Heh, then I'd love to try your cooking. You've gotten settled, then? Where do you live?

Well, actually it's what trees do to survive; shedding their leaves. Helps survive the cold air of spring. Suppose it depends on whether you believe leaves have a life of their own, or are but sylvan fingernails.

Heh, anticipation is about the only good thing I can think of fog. "We're squinting through a fog, peering through a mist"...one hopes that what lies behind will be clear and worth seeing.

Ah, yes you do look nomadic. About the same living situation as myself, in fact. Well, where are you now? I'll visit.

Heh, no I think the fairy-trees, if not everywhere, are decidedly in Fayren. Everglade's own botany might be too grave for them. No, the deciduous--there's the word!--trees will be all right even utterly shorn. Sleep is a good term for it.

Have you never seen leaves change colour?

You lived in the desert. That makes sense why you might not have then. But I find if you go to a park you'll find so many fall leaves.

Oh... I don't know if there are parks in Everglade... But I assume there would be.
