[action.]
[It's a long walk from the docks to the city. Long and arduous but Hohenheim managed to make due as he traversed the rustic horizon.
Since waking up in that strange cave during the thankfully low tide, Hohenheim been trying to piece together just how he managed to arrive here. He spent most of the early hours of the morning taking notes as he idly listened to the hologram by the pier.
What's her name again? Oh, it was Weiss.
While he won't even pretend as if he fully understands as of how he came to arrive here in Genessia, at least Hohenheim is glad to know this isn't some wild hallucination. Ever since that last dream he had after a few shots of whiskey, Hohenheim made certain not to have alcohol touch his lips again.
The old alchemist came to a brief halt once he found a fallen log upon the dusty road. He lowers his brown briefcase beside the sturdy trunk and sits down. It wobbles a little but it seems sturdy. His feet are killing him right about now after walking a few too many miles. Despite being gifted with incredible longevity, Hohenheim is starting to feel his age right about now. His bones ache and he's feeling feverish thanks to anxiety.
Thankfully, he has some form of entertainment in the form of this fancy phone. It took the old man a moment to figure out how to work the device but once he does, the bespectacled gentleman appears upon the screen looking a tad befuddled with two errant strands of bright golden hair hanging limply down his weathered face.]
H-Hello?
[The man blinks his eyes slowly as he peers into the screen of his phone. He looks like he's in his late thirties or early forties at best. Slightly worn for wear but quite stately looking like a school teacher with a bright green tie and a plain brown suit. His long golden hair is brushed back and tied neatly by a white band all except for two golden strands. There's nothing truly out of place with this man other than the oddly shaped beard upon his face and the golden eyes that match his hair.
He's probably the most ordinary looking man anyone here has seen in long time.]
Can anyone..hear me? I...I'm not used to these kind of gadgets.
[A sheepish smile lingers upon his wide lips as he awkwardly glances away from the screen.]
I feel silly talking like this. I don't anyone can hear me. [A despondent sigh leaves him.] Here's hoping for the best.
[He glances back at the camera with a slight smile now.]
Is anyone out there?

[ She allows her smile to fade, but even though she's still trying to be reassuring in the face of his obvious concern. ]
There are many here who have seen those arrive from their homes from earlier times, though not one has noticed the others disappearing for long periods of time. I think for that reason, whatever you are concerned for will not come to pass while you can do nothing, at least while you are here.
Re: [Video]
[He stares into the screen with wide eyes.]
A-Are you certain of that?
[He can scarcely believe his ears. Hohenheim doesn't know what to say. For his entire existence he's been preparing himself for what he deemed to be the Promised Day only to learn it's been it's been delayed. This of course comes as good news but it also comes as unbelievable.]
No, if...wait. [It takes a moment for him to collect his thoughts.] They won't be able to do the transmutation then.
[His brows knit together in worry.]
But what about Edward and Alphonse? Are my sons also caught in this loop? Time won't progress unless I come back.
[ Hold on.
She stares, a brow raising because the term transmutation sounds familiar... And although the name Alphonse is not one she's heard before...
Suddenly it appears as if she's much more interested in the conversation. ]
... By any chance do you mean Edward Elric? A blonde boy with a metal arm and leg who can change them into any form he pleases?
Re: [Video]
[Why is he not surprised? Those boys are famous across all of Amestris but he didn't expect the boys to be infamous even over here in some strange new world.
That's a bit much for him to take.]
That's my son. Definitely is. I hope he didn't give you a hard time.

[ She can't help wearing a warm expression more for her own sake than for Hohenheim's peace of mind, even if it is tinged in just a bit of sadness. ]
They both left at the start of summer, unfortunately. They likely returned with no memory of this place at all.
Re: [Video]
[He can't help but chuckle a bit. So, the boys were here along with little Winry, huh? He's almost sorry he missed all that. Hohenheim hasn't seen Pinako's granddaughter in years.]
I bet she's all grown up now, hopefully taller than Edward.
[Hohenheim flinches a little. He could almost feel Edward's automail smacking him right in the face for that comment.]
They won't remember here? Ah, so...Genessia something like a 'dream', huh? A brief intermission at best.
Re: [Video]
[ Her smile only grows, and she nods as he continues. ]
They seemed to be around the same height when I saw them last... And yes, I suppose that would be the best way to put it.
What they do here, at least, can leave a lasting impression.
[ Adela takes a moment before her expression cools just a little, mostly because the circumstance leading to it was horrible, but... ]
It is because of Miss Winry that I was able to put myself back on my feet. She is truly brilliant, only outdone by her own kind heart.
