Hello! [video/action in Genessia City]
[the face which peers imperiously down at the video screen may be lacking an eye, but he handles the phone like a pro. The technology doesn't baffle him, but the location does.]
I knew they were lying to us. Bastards. But they missed, this isn't home either. Oi. [you in the phone, yeah you] So they want us to hang around here and get comfy until they can figure out how to really send us home? Great. [/sarcasm]
One thing I know from places like this, is there's bound to be people around who've heard of the Straw Hat Pirates. Yeah? Whoever's around, me and the cook are here.
[at which point the cook in question shoves his way into view, jostling Zoro's shoulder]
The hell kind of an introduction is that?
What? Anyone who knows us knows who I'm talking about, and anyone who doesn't, I don't care about. Where's the problem?
Don't lump me in with your not caring bullshit, if we're in a new place then we gotta have a shitty proper introduction. Otherwise none of the ladies here will know who I am!
[Zoro just deadpans at him, it's very likely that as soon as he hangs up, they're going to be fighting in public. Never mind that he also didn't bother giving his name...either name, really...]
[action]
[they haven't gone too far from the caves in the center of Genessia City, but Zoro being Zoro, there is a strong likelihood that at any given moment he has wandered off in the wrong direction and lost Sanji. So you might stumble on one or the other but not both. The green wonder is more intent on finding a bar than finding his way to the apartments, leaving him going around and around the same block about twenty times. Sanji is most likely checking out the restaurants and food shopping opportunities, aggressively inquiring into the freshness of the seafood and swanning at women.]
[ooc note: green is Zoro, blue is Sanji]

Re: [Video]
Good food though.
[At least there's that to keep Luffy happy.]
Do you want me to come find you? I could lead you to Fayren.
[Or they'd both get lost.]
We don't have a ship though. So no sailing for now.
[A beat.]
I want a ship.
Sure, if you wanna. I'm just sort of. What the hell street am I on anyway?
[the video feed whirls around as he does, swiveling to try to find a sign]
Re: [Video]
I dunno. What street are you even on?
[He can't see it.]
Turn on your comm-gps-thingy-majig. Might tell you.
[it switches to audio briefly while he fiddles with the buttons and then eventually gives up trying to make the screen do anything but show him Luffy's face]
Eh, who cares. I'm on...Hawthorne, it says.
Re: [Video]>[Action]
[Luffy and technology do not go together.]
Hawthorne....Hawthorne....right I'll find you.
[SOmehow. So it'll be like thirty minutes later that he's swinging down to where Zoro is. Unless the swordsman's been wandering still, then it might take longer.]
Hey! There you are!
:D
...Luffy!
[HELL YES IT'S LUFFY even Zoro can't help but lose his cool for a couple of seconds, breaking into a huge grin]
What's up, captain?
Re: :D
[He's not going to stop moving, slamming into the second in command and giving him a big hug!]
There's a lot going on! Halloween's coming up! Crazy people are here! There's a ton of places. They've got robot cops in one city! ROBOT COPS!
no subject
I've had enough of robot cops for one lifetime, don't care. But crazy people and fun places, I'm all ready for that.
no subject
[How do you get tired of robot cops? They're AWESOME! But then again Luffy's not had the opportunity to get shot by them yet.]
Well first we should probably get you to home. [Being the treehouse where he lives because what's a job?] Or should we go find a bar? It hink there's a few close by.
no subject
[just throwing that out there to see if Luffy reacts to it - that should tell him whether he remembers being there]
So home's a treehouse now, huh? Eh, don't worry about the bar, I ran into your brother and he bought me a drink. Should tide me over.
no subject
But yeah. We've got a treehouse, me and Ace. You could even build other treehouses in the trees next to ours and make it a giant tree house village.
[The way his eyes are gleaming, he's practically screaming to make a tree house village connected with rope bridges and the like.]
no subject
I've never built anything in my life, but okay. Is it that hard to get a ship, here? Can't just walk out to the pier and pick one out or something?
no subject
[He's guiding Zoro on the way to Fayren, the strawhat having at least been around long enough to know how to get to there from where they were.]
You won't believe how many times it fell over before we got it staying up.
no subject
And, uh...that's safe to sleep in, huh?
[well, whatever. He can deal with that.] As long as there's a branch to string up a hammock, I'm good. Sounds like Fayren is the town for us, then.
no subject
[Yet.]
Well if you wanna do that you can. But you should make a house or something so you can keep out of the rain.
Fayren's the only place with the ocean. So that's kinda where us pirates are going to hang out.
no subject
Zoro shrugs it off as he follows along just beside and one step behind Luffy, tucking his hands into his pants pockets.]
Oh, I guess I don't wanna get rained on. Right. Heh, it'll be good to see everybody, even the ones I don't really know. I'm serious, Luffy, I haven't seen the sea in...ten months? Something like that. Almost a year. If you don't mind I kinda wanna walk up and smell the salt air for a bit before we see the treehouse.
no subject
Aha yeah, that's probably not a good thing.
There's really only you, Sanji, Chopper, and I from our crew here though. Ace is here too and Smokey is around.
[A pause.]
That marine swordlady is around here too.
[It's a good think the tree houses are pretty damn close to the ocean. Not a big detour to walk towards it.]
no subject
So Zoro comes to a screeching halt in the middle of the sidewalk.]
She's here? Oh, great.
[no, best not to worry about it. As long as the Marines aren't also hanging around the sea, he could go a while without seeing her. Good. Yes. Fine.]
Can't wait to say hi to Chopper. I guess I'll see the others eventually. It's cool that Ace is here, though. I mean...you know. With...what happened.
no subject
[It's like the usual song and dance really.]
Hm..yeah. I mean he knows about it. Sorta. [Not mentioning Whitebeard to him at all.]
But still, I'm glad you guys are around too. Been kinda lonely with just me and Chopper as the only Straw hats.
no subject
[don't mind if he puts you in a headlock for a moment, Luf. He's missed you a lot and he can't help it.]
If we gotta be stuck somewhere weird, it's better when we're stuck together.
no subject
[Like that was hard to do really. Luffy will just laugh when Zoro headlocks him, stomping along gleefully. He's missed Zoro too!]
Yeah seriously! Better off being with you guys than without. Even this place didn't seem as fun and there's a lot to see.
no subject
no subject
[And by that he means getting food and drink usually.]
Plus we had to make our pirate house somehow.
You could always fight Sword-lady or Smokey.
