Say, who among you all has piety about you?

More to the point, would you be willing--in the manner befitting any worthy religion--to be savagely beaten for it?

Well, I won't ask what you're going to do, but...please be careful and promise me you come back and survive in one piece?

Was that the case for your world? Mine was much duller; practically every violent thing was over trade routes or adding territories. Sadly my own recent century was the bloodiest of all, and faith had hardly anything to do with it.

As for why, I'm curious to see what zeal exists here. Genessia seems, for a place that has people from everywhere, strangely faithless. I'm wondering whether I shall have to provide it all myself.

If it was worth it. I've seen a lot of good men throw their lives away over zealotry. Didn't always end well for the people they left behind.

All individual thoughts and identities are banned and suppressed all for the sake of creating a world where no one has to worry about coming into conflict with each other, or worry about what to do next if life gets too hard. Eruzael believes in himself replacing Pankosmia, saying that while a tree is finite, he will be infinite. He intends to do this by invading the spirit realms of our patron Goddesses and steal their power to make him a true God."

And what exactly is the point of that?

Other than a rather bizarre means to utilize sadomasochism with additional feelings of guilt and shame at play, I suppose.

You might be surprised my good fellow! There is a wide assortment of concepts that I might offer that are just as immutable as the supposed concept of faith; which by it's own-- Dear me, I am rambling.

Let me instead ask the more intriguing question; what has lead you to ask about such a thing?

No.

But mostly because I hate God. [In her mind back home she never fought for god, she fought for her friends and her own world. But she at least has to tolerate the god so she could use innocence in the first place.]

So it would seem funny if I was ever willing to be beaten because of religion.

That's what I just said.

What terrible gods! Well, it so happens I know a higher one. Highest of all, really. If those deities get too troublesome, try a Christian priest. Doubtless--with enough faith, naturally--they could sort you out. Must be nice to be here, away from all that, at least.
