Was that the case for your world? Mine was much duller; practically every violent thing was over trade routes or adding territories. Sadly my own recent century was the bloodiest of all, and faith had hardly anything to do with it.

As for why, I'm curious to see what zeal exists here. Genessia seems, for a place that has people from everywhere, strangely faithless. I'm wondering whether I shall have to provide it all myself.

Interesting etymology! Let's see...well, 'piety' came from Rome, perhaps as early as 400 BC, whereas 'pie' refers to a bakery around 12th century.
