[1st sweet:] Accidental video/audio

Genessia City
[A new light and resident arrived in the city from the bay today. He is a rather small creature, a small bodied yellow furred feline with a pair of white feathered wings that is probably no bigger than putting your two hands together. He has a small knapsack wrapped around his back and forelegs, that carries his starter pack, including his communication device, which is a very small iPhone and his money. The phone which he fiddled with it before, after he pressed a few buttons, but forgotten to turn it off, so there is a brief flash of him caught on camera on video, and then darkness. However, the video kept playing, so people can hear the audio part.]

Sakura? Sakuuuuraaa? Where are you? Are you out of school yet? Come back home...

[He'll be flying around Genessia city looking for Sakura, calling out for her...until his calling stops. Why? Because he become distracted when he was oogling in front of a sweets and bakery shop hovering in front of the window. Kero-chan loves sweets!]

Ooooh! What is this?

[He waited for a customer to open the door and flies right in, to hover about the store to fawn over the sweets that is on display on the shelves.]

Cookies! Chocolates! Biscuits! I want some! Oh, potato chips! I want those too. And soda! I like soda! Coffee? Tea? Iced coffee?

[He pokes and prod the sweets inside the boxes and tin cans on the shelves. He flew over to the canned bottled sweet beverages stored inside the glass fridge. This is one hungry little beast!

Attention shopkeepers! Perhaps this strange winged stray feline have wandered in your shop!]

[What's the sound? From the phone? That voice though... Her heart began to race as familiarity overcomes her. Could it be?!

Sakura fumbled for her phone and set it for her to reply.]

"Kero-chan? Is that you? Where are you?"

[Luckily for him, a kind customer bought him and treated him to a bag of potato chips, which he snacked on the table, munching inside the bag, totally breathing in and smelling the wonderful smell of potato chips and all of that salt.

Nom, nom, munch, munch...eh? Why his phone is talking? Crawling out of the potato bag, he pulled his knapsack aside, pulled out the phone, and speak to it. To Kero-chan, he had seen Sakura this morning, but for Sakura, she had been alone for many months.]

Sakura, is that you? I'm okay! I'm in this cafe.

[Sakura can see his face has crumbs of potato chips fragments stuck to his cute roud face.]

[Kero?! What about the whole--never mind. She hadn't seen anyone from Tomoeda in so long, she couldn't care.]

"Wait there, I'm coming to you!"

[Grabbing her school bag with the Clow cards she had, she got on her roller skates and set out from the K&H Home for Children to the cafe Kero was likely pigging out in. It wasn't long before she arrived and found the right cafe, and a bag of potato chips that was wiggling.]

"Kero-chan?"

[What started as a single bag of potatoes, a second followed, and then open wraps of boxes of pastries sweets, mostly likely jellied filled donuts, and a tall glasses of iced tea to go with it. So much salt and sugar goes in that small little body. He bought some of that with his own starter money, since Kero-chan understand quite a bit that money buys food.

Yup, the little guardian is pigging out.]

"Hi Sakura! I woke up from my nap, and you didn't come home after school, so I went and go looking for you."

[Sakura took off her skates and made her way over to Kero, scooping him up into her hands.]

"Whatever happened to staying out of sight?"

[She sighed. No one seems to be freaking out or questioning how a stuffed animal is eating snacks. So no harm done...right? She smiles brightly at the little Clow guardian.]

"I missed you, Kero."

[The small guardian weights as much as a kitten in her hands.]

"Oh that, well...ehehe. I grew kinda worried, so I went looking for you."

[He smiled at her.]

"Eh? I seen you this morning? But I missed you too."

"Hoi? This morning? Kero-chan, I've been gone since July."

[She remembers a chat she had then. How it all sounded like when The Time was active. Could it all be true? That time flows differently from Genessia and other worlds?]

"Eeehh? But I was with you since July?"

[The little guardian looks confused.]

"Where have you been gone then?"

[Sakura carries the gluttonous guardian out of the cafe. Upon getting her skates back on, it was off to home for them.]

"In Genessia. Last thing I remember was falling asleep in class, and waking up here."

[He's in for a ride through the city, then! He is quite full too, full with junk food filling his stomach, which his hunger is satisfied for now.]

"So, we're not at home anymore? We're in another world?"

[He did stopped by the holographic presentation with the white-haired lady, Weiss giving introductions.]

"Yeah... This is Genessia. Tomoyo-chan's not here. Li-kun... Dad and big brother. It's just you and me from Tomoeda. And the Clow cards, too."

"O-oh. Sakura-chan...is alone."

He doesn't want to see Sakura sad, especially when she hadn't seen her family and friends for a long time.

"Don't worry, I'm here."

[Sakura wasn't going to worry. With a little patience and a little luck, it may not be too much longer before the rest of her friends show up. Or better yet, until they all go home.]

"I know, and thank you, Kero. Everything is going to be all right."

[Before long, a cozy home was getting closer. They were almost home.]

"There it is, the K&H Home for Children, where we'll be staying."

[Until then, Kero-chan will stay with her until she fufill her destiny. That was he was made to do.]

"Are there other kids as well?"

"Not many. There was one boy there who called me things, like 'lovely maiden,' and 'fair lady.' But I haven't seen or heard from him since then.

I wonder what happened to him?"

"He call you that and just leave? Hmph!" How rude! "He sound like a heartbreaker." Like you need a boy like that.

For now, Kero-chan is just enjoying the ride, while being held by her.

[Sakura herself didn't fully understand why that boy spoke to her the way he did. It made her happy and confused, though.]

"Why are you mad? I don't think he really meant any of it. He was probably just being nice."

[Now inside of the home, Sakura carries Kero to her arms like a cherished stuffed animal.]

"Probably, but people should say what they mean."

[Well, it's going to be a while to get adjusted in this new home and world, but at least for now? Sakura has her guardian, and unlike a stuffed animal, at least he talks, he's real, and he's quite warm to hold, and by warm, it's like holding a cat, but he can hold still and not very squirmy.]

[ The sweets aren't for her, but even Adela can't resist warm fluffy biscuits fresh from the oven. It's when she's purchasing some that she notices the little flying... Cat? She doesn't know, only that she's never seen it before.

Slow blinking. It's talking to itself... ]

... Hello?

[Kero-chan was munching on a chocolate biscuit cookie, out of the box, sitting alone on top of the table. Nom, nom, nom munch!

When Adela greeted him, it was when he looked up.]

Ah? Hello?

[ Okay, it talks... And it apparently understands her. She's still a little confused, but it seems like it's friendly at least. ]

You seem to be enjoying yourself... Are those truly that tasty?

"Eh? Yes, they're delicious!" He stood up on his hindlegs and look up at the red-heard with curiousity. "My name is Kero-chan. I'm looking for Sakura. Have you seen her?"

Sakura... Now where had she heard that name before?

Oh!

Adela's face lit up with recognition as she looked to Kero more closely, crouching a little so she could be on his level when she answered, "I believe I have! She is a young girl, with brown hair and green eyes, and she... Ah..."

For a brief moment she cut herself off, because she knew Sakura was hiding that and might not have even known Adela figured it out. For the time being she was going to use at least SOME discretion, if only for her sake, "She seems very athletic and energetic."

"Yes, that's her! She's like sports. Where do you last seen her?"

Kero-chan is a bit simple-minded, and he thought of Adela as a senior student. Therefore, he's trusting like that and well, she looks like a very trusting human, because she looks kind.

"Well, she seems to stay in Genessia City. A good place to start looking may be the home for children here -- it takes in children without families to look after them. I do not know if she is there for certain, but it is worth looking is it not?"

"Okay. The children's home. I'll go look for her there."

Before he flutters off, he took a bow. "Thank you very much."

"Do not trouble yourself over it. I wish you luck in finding her -- she would probably be pleased to see a friend of hers from home, right?"

Kero-chan tilted his head, not sure what she's talking about, but he nodded and smiled, and waved.

"See you later!" And off he flew to the door.

Only to realized later that he's too small and unable to open it as he has no fingers or thumbs, but paws for hands. So turning to the girl, while he's floating mid air in front of the glass door. "Um, excuse Ms...? Um, I don't know your name, I'm sorry. But can you please open the door for me?"

Adela laughed mildly at that, still smiling before opening the door for him, "Adela. 'tis good to meet you."

Now, there's a voice I didn't expect to hear.

{ But one that he is very, very pleasantly surprised to hear, of course. }

Welcome to Genessia. Is Yue with you as well?

Ah, Reed-san.

Ummm...

[How the guardian answer this???]

No, I'm afraid not. I came alone. I found Sakura, though. She is safe.

Yes, I know. I've been keeping a very close eye on her, ever since the Hands of Decay incident.

{ And he's very, very grateful those lunatics, if they even exist at all anymore, have been pushed into the fringes of Fayren society where they have no real power anymore. }

It's good to see you again.

"O-oh...I haven't been a very good guardian then. I'm sorry. I'll stay with her from now on."

[He nods.]

"I'll do my best!"

This world is a mystery even to me. But one thing I've learned is that it has a mind of its own. You shouldn't blame yourself.
