I wish it was Halloween already. Don’t you?

[ she had a costume ready, but there was some anticipation. she doesn’t really feel like having any sort of ‘welcome back’ committee. not yet. ]

I really want those themed macaroons they sold at home. I bet there’s a recipe somewhere! [ a laugh. ] I wonder if anyone has thought of that yet here?

I wouldn’t be too surprised!

I'm perfectly fine. I mean I can walk sometimes, which is a plus and it means people don't have to worry about me now because I know people have. ,small>[made him feel awful if he had to be honest.]

But hey, if you are going to wear a costume, what costume would you do?

That’s great! I’m glad you feel a lot better, Yugi-kun. [ she actually feels a bit relieved, honestly. ]

Hm… maybe as a witch? Or a type of yokai, or maybe a scary ghost! But I’m not very scary looking. [ if anything she’d just look overly cute. ] But I think I could pull it off decently.

What would actually be considered a scary ghost though?

[He could think of a few things, but... something different was always scary.]

I mean seeing through a ghost is creepy, but what makes a scary ghost considered as such? Is it just that or more?

I think that fact ghost exist is enough to scare someone. Sometimes ghosts still look like the way they did when they die and… it can be really gruesome depending on how they passed.

I’ve never seen a ghost before. [ just demons, if that makes it any better. ] But I think some ghosts just want help, and everyone is too busy trying to get rid of it. Then the ghost gets mad and… bad things happen.

I guess that is true, but I've not really met ghosts to really know.

[A spirit that can posses him is a completely different thing and that was pretty willing from a certain point at least.]

So because they don't get the help they get angry and bitter that people don't understand. But then you would think wouldn't it be best to just try and talk, rather than assuming.

Honestly in that situation you’d be desperate for any kind of attention. Sometimes ghosts can’t even be seen, so being helped is going to be hard.

I hope I’m never a ghost. It sounds so… [ pitiful. ] …sad.

It can be, I mean I found there isn't much I can do without learning and even that takes time. So it feels like one is all alone. I wouldn't want to wish it on my worst enemy if I had to be honest.

Being lonely… isn’t fun.

I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, even if I was given a lot of money. It sounds really sad. It makes me sad.

H-hey, don't be sad. For me at least it will pass and I'll be able to do things again. But it does make one think a lot more though and I guess that is sad.

But I believe the ghosts in Everglade aren't ignored, they even have friends and loved ones.

I suppose most people don’t want to think about that sort of stuff.

But that’s reassuring. ( a small nod of her head. ) I was just worried about them being lonely, ehe.

I think ghosts are different in that way, but yeah, they have lives much like we do and seem to be happy in the once or twice I've been there.

Never really had much of a reason to go through.

I guess being a ghost isn’t all that bad here. At least they get to live out a life, ( life … is that what we call it? ) and I think that’s the best thing for anyone in that situation.

( then she smiles, and laughs. )

H-how did we get on this subject? I’m finding it hard to remember.

Because of the fact I'm a ghost currently. That's how we got to where we are.

[And he is laughing as he says that.]

I don't think there was any other reason.
