[The video opened somewhere in Fayren's forest, where the trees where massive and seemed to reach the sun. There didn't seem to be anything too unique about the place Bracken was standing. He was wearing his typical mage robes and had his staff, looking like he fit right in with the scenery.

The biggest problem being that he didn't know how to start off his proposal.]

U-Umm... Hi. Does... Does anyone know how to b-build buildings? I-I want to build a house, b-but I'm not sure how.

[He glanced around all the pleasant forest scenery before looking up and turning the camera, pointing high into the trees.]

I-I want to build it there. I... I have some money, I can p-pay if anyone can help.

[Someone liked living in high places.]

[With leaves for hair and seed pods lining either side of his face, Trahearne looked like he fit right in with the trees.]

I could possibly help with that. Sylvari architecture is grown, so is well suited to what you wish. If you are comfortable with grown housing, that is.

Mmm, if it was built on the ground, not necessarily. As you want something so far off the ground, I believe I could make it safer. The trees themselves can be shaped to create pathways and structures without causing them damage or having to construct addition support. It would take time, but not any more so than something made of dead wood, I wouldn't think.

Th-That sounds like it would be really nice.

[He wasn't exactly an environmentalist, but it didn't seem like there was any reason not to try this.]

I-I want it to be b-big and beautiful, so Katze w-will be happy. How... How could I start doing that?

[Trahearne rubbed at the side of his neck, thinking that over.]

If you have any aptitude for magic that lets you influence plantlife, I could set the bones of the structure and you could refine it. That or aid me in growing it. I will need to know exactly where you want it, of course. Sadly I don't believe there are any other sylvari here that could help me with our specific brand of magic.

I... I don't have th-that kind of magic. I-I... I could summon water. Or move the earth.

It would talk longer but I could do the work myself. Unless you could find another who knows how to control plant life? I'm afraid any project involving building a home will take time.

C-Could you start now? How... How long would it take to m-make a room?

[He paused to think about it, and shook his head.]

I-I'm... I'm not sure. I could ask, but I d, don't know if my friends know that k-kind of magic.

I could start today, yes. After I have some time to collect supplies. I will need to keep the trees and plants in question healthy while I encourage them to grow. It's not a major concern if spread between several trees, but it will help the overall strength of the structure.

[Bagged fertilizer would do. Trahearne was grateful for such conveniences.]

I could have the base of the place laid down and at least one room for you to use while I constructed the rest done... in say a week? I could make a place for a tent in a day, if you were very insistent on staying off the ground. Without aid, I'm afraid that's the best I can do.

A-A week? That... That sounds great!

[Honestly, he wasn't a rushed person. He was prepared to spend a long amount of time creating a nice home for him and his boyfriend, so a week didn't sound bad at all.]

I-Is there anything I can do to help? Even... Even if I can't do th-that magic.

[Trahearne nodded. There was a lot he'd still need to think about for this... It would be nice to have something to do. He would get restless fast here.]

It will take much longer to finish it but somewhat liveable in a week, yes. I recommend temporary furniture of some sort. It takes a while to grow furniture, if you want that as well.

As for what you can do, well, you said you can summon water yes? The trees and plants I'll be manipulating will need to be kept hydrated. Growing puts a great deal of strain on them.

I-I was going to let Katze pick our f... furniture. W-We won't have much for a while...

[His money was limited, after all. Still, he didn't look that upset. Right now they were living in a tiny inn room, which was only supposed to barely house one, so it wasn't like it'd be a downgrade.]

B-But, we don't need much f-for now!

I-I can do that. I'll give them l-lots of water.

[Trahearne smiled. He'd have something to do and help someone out at the same time. Win/win.]

Very well. When I know when and where to meet you, I'll get what I need together and head that way.

D-Do you know where the Marsh Woodsman is?

[Even as he asked, he worked on sending him a map.]

I-If we meet there, I could sh-show you how to get here. O-Oh... And, how much will it c-cost?

I'm sure I can find it. The cost, hm. The cost of supplies should be fine. That shouldn't be a great deal. I've already found work so I am not in dire need of money. A project to work on is a reward to me.

R-Really?

[He wasn't someone who needed a lot of money personally, beyond what was necessary to live off of, so he didn't mind paying. But not having to pay meant saving more money for furniture or things Katze wanted.]

Oh! B... By the way, I'm Bracken.

I am Trahearne, it's my pleasure to help you, Bracken. I suppose I shall go gather what I will need and head to where you are?

I-It's nice to meet you.

[Things were turning out a lot better than he expected. Hopefully, someday he could do something to really pay Trahearne back. He repeated the name quietly to try and learn to say it right, before nodding.]

No, no, it's alright. [Trahearne smiled warmly.] You might want to start making sure the trees in the area are well watered. Unless it's rained recently.

[With a quick nod, he got right to summoning up some water magic. It was an attack spell, but he kept it weak and kept it away from tearing into the plants, letting the water whirl around in front of him before simply stopping the spell and letting it splatter on the ground in front of him. Since coming to Genessia he'd learned to use his spells in some non-destructive ways, so long as he took care.]

I-I can do that! I'll... I'll meet you at the inn when I'm d-done.

[Katze was going to be so happy.]

[OOC: Was there any interest in action or shall we assume?]

[It was good to see elemental magic was a staple of magic, even here. Hopefully necromancy wasn't condemned.]

[OOC: If you really want to do a scene for it, I'm cool with it. Unsure how much there is to do while Trahearne is working however.]

[The priest flipped on the video and search the network for any interesting news, when he sees Bracken's posts.]

Ah, Bracken, hi! It's been a while. What are you up to? I don't know anything about carpentry I'm afraid. I'm not good at building homes.

I-It's okay. There's... There's a man who says he could g-grow a house! I've never h-heard of that, before.

Why build one, when you could just make one?

[Who has the time and patience to build a house?]

M-Make... Isn't...

[He didn't want to outright question her, but it was hard to think of another way to put it.]

I-Isn't that the same thing?

[Li-Ming hums in thought over the question.]

Good point. Perhaps conjure is a better one. Or create.

O-Oh, my magic doesn't m-make houses. It... It just blows them up.
