[he's been isolating himself for a while, too much going on. He's been too long out of the mists and is longing for it again. The silence. The deepness. But now... He can't help but notice...]

Such strange things have been happening. People have been changing. Don't you think that's terrifying? Turning into something against your will... I feel sympatthy for anyone affected by this... what is it? Is it a curse of some kind? Is there anything anyone can do? Is there a way to keep from being affected? I need to know I haven't left the house in days. I have no groceries. Is there a charm or a spell to prevent it? or should I just run?

My best guess is that it's this world's caprice giving us all-too-real costumes for the occasion. If it's like other whimsies, it'll probably pass. Though I agree, turning people into demons or vampires is sinister. There might be a miraculous cure; some blessing to counter the curse, but I haven't seen anything of the sort so far. Seems the best we can do is help each other endure and enjoy it, as the situation permits.

On that note, do you need some aid? You wouldn't be the first who's been so inconvenienced.

I woke up as a goddamned wolf in my own bed. There's no avoiding it by hiding.

Changing against my will is one thing, that I am okay with if it meant more power.

Changing into something is despise with every fiber of my being is something else all together.
