[ When the feed clicks on it shows a rather red-faced Adela, sporting a pair of black spiral horns and black bat-like wings in view of the camera. Not that it's anything new, but at the same time she also seems unusually on edge. The reason why becomes apparent when she finally speaks. ]

Uhm... Of those who have changed the way I seem to have, I ask of you... How do you get by like this? For food, I mean.

[ What is her life when she has to ask this question!? Nehra she's hoping the answer isn't the same as it would be back home either... ]

[ Well, there really is no point in hiding it anymore. Somehow, Adela has wound up as a Succubus because of the same curse that seems to be plaguing a lot of people there. The irony isn't lost on her either, but hey...

Now it's time to have some fun with this, or at least to try.

Which is why Adela can be seen in Genessia park, straining to flap her wings so she can try to get airborne. It's difficult, but even when she falls she can't help grinning and laughing. It's different for certain, but learning any new skill isn't easy at all. No reason not to try her best!

It means she's really not paying attention to whoever might be passing by or even watching, but it's the middle of the day. Who cares? ]

Actually, that one had nothing to do with being what I am, and more to do with getting on the bad side of a vampire. Long story.

Being a Succubus by itself doesn't come with an addiction to using powers or a need for energy or the like.

I should not even try to fly like this then, so that I can preserve what strength I still have?

Nah, that shouldn't be a problem. It won't work without focusing on the inherent magic that makes it kinda functional, but it's still there.

The trick is realizing the powers of your form exist. That they are. They aren't evil, they aren't good, they just are. It's how you use them that makes you a full-on villainess or a heroine. Or just, you know, a person.

[Pidonus's wings open up and slide out to either side of her as she speaks.]

Please, come over, and touch my wings. Tell me what you feel.

[ Adela blinks at Pidonus then, raising a brow before coming and doing what she's told. Honestly, she should be able to see it, but maybe it's the transformation itself interfering with her real magic.

Still, she reaches a hand to gently touch the outside of the wing, and she closes her eyes to focus more on what she can feel. ]

... It feels like warmth, without truly being warm beyond normal. It is there, though I do not know how else to speak of it.

Now, without touching your own wing... Guess how it feels, in turn.

Think of it, first. Remember: It's magic that lets you fly, but they're what let you control your flight.

[ Adela looks away, frowning a bit and feeling a lot more hesitant suddenly. ]

... As much as I might wish to fly, I do not wish to try at the expense of my magic. I should keep my energy up the best I can for now.

... I don't think you need to be so worried. The form comes with magic, and it's safe to use for a thing like this.

It is not that I feel it is unsafe, it is that I wish to keep my strength up so I... So I do not have to worry about what happens when it runs out, hopefully.

Think of it this way. Using your magic - which you have plenty of - for one thing is not going to tempt you to use it for others. Tiredness isn't temptation, either. Or at least, it doesn't need to be.

I believe you are misunderstanding me. I do not fear for the temptation to use my magic, but for what happens when I need to regain what energy I have used.

I do not wish for it to come to that at all, so the best way to do that is to not use it at all.

Well, good news there is, I'm pretty sure it's gonna. If this was a more significant transformation, it'd probably be having more significant mental side effects.

Not so hot is... Yeah, I dunno too much about actual aviation. I mean, it doesn't make any sense by normal physics that I can fly, but. Here I am.

Well, it was more a fun thing than anything else. It is not something important for me to do, more a "fun" thing than anything else.

I'm just thinking about some of the forms of flight I've seen since I've gotten here. My wings are actually not that impressive a form of flight, all considered. Helicopters are kinda amazing.
