[She's sat on top of the building where she's picked up an apartment, face lit by the feed in her hand and the moon. A faint breeze plays with her long black hair, but she doesn't do anything to stop it fluttering around her face. It doesn't bother her at all.]

So, what is there to do for fun around here? So far this place seems pretty lame.

[Looking at his video phone as a message went out, Jaune blinks a few times.] Whoooa... punk goth girl. [He's calling her. But before he does, he clears his throat, and shakes out his arms, and gives himself a little pep talk before dialing her number.]

[When his face shows up on the screen, he gives the most charming smile he can manage.] Why hello there~ The name's Jaune - Jaune Arc. You new in town?

Hi. [you get eyebrows. Is that tone what she thinks that tone is? Then she grins, trying not to laugh.] The name's Marceline and I'm totally new around here. Do you know where a girl can go for a good time around here? I like a good nightlife.

Oh, you totally look like you dig the nightlife too! Well, uh... [What WAS there to do around Genessia? Jaune didn't really know. He'd spent so much time getting settle in that now when he had free time, he wasn't sure how to spend it.]

Well, um... There's a pizzeria, and a strip mall, but I dunno how long those are open... There's a Karaoke bar and I think I saw an advertisement for holosuites, whatever those are.

[He rubs the back of his neck somewhat.] ... I'm kinda new here too, so I haven't done much.

[she's gone through no pains to hide the holes on her neck - she's not aware that's something she should probably do here, what with some of the people here, yet - so your comment about looking like she enjoys the nightlife strikes her as particularly amusing.] It's way awesome especially as being out in the sun generally sucks.

[Holosuites perk her interest. they sound... fancy. And new, she's never heard of them before.] you know where those are?

Sounds to me like some kinda simulation thingy. You know, like those sci-fi shows. [Jaune's juuuuust blond enough to not pay the neck bite much mind. Maybe it was just a tattoo or something.]

I guess that means you can hang out in, like... simulated environments. I think it said something about laser tag.

...Laser tag?

[Confusion. She wasn't old enough to remember much from before the mushroom wars, so she's never heard of it. Well, she's heard of lasers and she's obviously heard of the game tag, so she's... got an image in her mind that's a lot more brutal than what it actually is.

So, naturally, she grins.] That sounds like fun. [...It really does to her. For what she has in mind.

Someone's going to be a little disappointed when she finds out there's not much danger.]

It totally does! Doesn't it? Well then, we should go! [It was the sort of game though that was best played with lots of people. Hrm. He could invite his friends. But should he?

On one hand, it'd be more boring with just him and this girl...

... On the other hand, just him and a punk-y girls sounds awesome. And it couldn't be THAT boring.

Oh he is just so torn.]

Where is it? I'll fly over and meet you there. [She has one friend, and she's not going to invite him. Weird feelings ~~not to mention his tendency to just turn up wherever she goes anyway - she couldn't even be kidnapped without him being here.~~

[Jaune kinda fumbles around for a good while until he manages to spy a phone book. Of course there were phone books! Why wouldn't there be? So he flips through until he finds the service in question.]

It's in... Nova City? Oh, man, I haven't visited another city yet. Guess we gotta go through an archway to get there. I heard these necklaces we got have something to do with that. Better make sure you have yours! I'll jot down the address and meet you in Nova City, okay? It's... [He reads.] Through the... North Archway.

[She'd tentatively put it on - her last experience with an amulet wasn't great - earlier, so she holds it up.] Way ahead of you. I'll see you there. And by the way- [She gives him a grin, which hints at pointy fangs] I don't like to lose.

[She stands and jumps off the roof, cutting the feed as she does.]

[Jaune blinked a few times after the video feed cut out. Did that girl have fangs? No... he must have been seeing things. You'd think he'd be more wary that she jumped off a roof, but...

... Well, have you MET some of his friends?]

OOC: I almost think we should open our little laser tag game up in another thread, so people can also enjoy laser tag!

OOC: Okay, I'll look into setting something up! I'm just so newb at this - one-on-one character interactions are all I'm really used to. Not sure how to handle something like a potentially multi-character game of laser tag. x3

I also heard you're sick. I can put it on hold until you feel better if you need.
