[The video begins with a rather beautiful young woman tapping at the screen curiously. It didn't take too long for Kaguya to figure out how to use the device, thanks to the limited, but available technology in Gensokyo. She takes a step back, looking rather pleased with herself before she begins to speak.]

Greetings, residents of Genessia City. My name is Kaguya Houraisan, and as you might guess, I am new to this city and world.

[In her...rather long life, she'd never heard of such a place existing on Earth. She seems pretty calm for being taken from her world. The truth is though, she's more or less pleased. It's something new. Exciting.]

While I'm aware of my current situation, perhaps someone who has been here longer than I could answer a few questions.

Such as where I might find a more permanent residence, and where I can find some quality tea.

If you're looking for tea, there's a quaint cafe in Genessia called Tea Time Cafe. They're the best, so far.

[Her setting is in an office, and the camera seems to be fixed upon something, as Grell is multitasking. Typing with both hands, hair tied up into a messy ponytail, and eyes focused on her work screen.

But don't worry, she's paying attention.]

One of the better questions to ask by newcomers.

Lovely. I'll be sure to stop there.

[She's planning on exploring the entire city. It should keep her entertained for at least a little while. If she's bothered by the messiness, she doesn't show it.]

Of course. If I'm going to be here a while, I may as well be comfortable, no?

"Hello, Kaguya! Welcome to Genessia. What do those two names mean, anyway?

Permanent residences, eh? Well, the commonspace is right out, then. There's apartments in every city, and a house can be bought once you've saved enough. What color is your necklace? That will serve as a pretty good indicator of where you'll likely be most comfortable.

Unless it's blue; best ignore it then."

Asking such a personal thing without even giving your name in turn? How rude.

[Kaguya is not overly fond of men to begin with.]

The stone is a lovely shade of green.

"Oh, it's Ted." [Always forgetting that.]

"Ah, that marks you for Fayren, then. Let's see, there's the Dancing Donner...little rowdy for a woman, I'd say, then there's...Oak Gardens. Much pricier, but far more elegant. One of those ought to do, if the commonspace, in all its temporary bareness, won't."

[She pauses in her work to look at the camera directly.]

You'd be surprised how many people ask the most redundant questions.

Actually, I don't think I would.

[That comes with the territory of living for over a thousand years.]

I do hope I'm not distracting you from...whatever you're working on.

I'm assuming that's another city, rather than a district.

[A pause.]

There's clearly no choice between the two.

[Mewtwo is just going to look curious for half a moment.]

Judging by your attire, you would likely be most comfortable in Fayren. The culture would likely be closest to what you're familiar with.

[Unfortunately for Mewtwo, he didn't notice the green streak heading for his head...]

And then something cute and snuggly collided with Mewtwo, arms wrapping around his neck and a certain third eye squishing itself into his cheek.

"Purple thing! Purple thing! Play with me!" It was Koishi. And she couldn't seem to stop laughing. Kaguya might recognize her as the little green satori youkai from the religion wars around the time of the mask incident.

Unfortunately, Koishi also spotted the phone, pausing and blinking before darting forward and snatching it away from Mewtwo. "Ohh! Hello there miss! You have beautiful hair."

Good, then you can join the small crowd that knows better.

[Grell sits back in her chair and turns lightly in it from side to side. Just enough to show that it's a swivel chair.]

I'm at work, but as long as I get my job done, there won't be complaints.

[She hasn't actually seen one of those chairs before, so she's mildly intrigued. Seems pretty nifty.]

I see. Might I ask where you acquired that chair?

[Kaguya can't help but look the same. That's an...odd looking creature. Not like any youkai she's seen before. This place is going to be full of fun surprises!]

Is that so? I have little to rely on other than... [She pauses for a moment when Mewtwo is interrupted by Koishi. That's a youkai that looks...somewhat familiar.]

...oh.

[She smiles at the compliment.]

Thank you. However, I believe I was speaking to someone else.

[Mewtwo is just going to look immensely annoyed as Koishi attaches to his face.]

I apologize for the interruption. Koishi has a bad habit of sneaking up on me.

[He sighs before making the formal introductions.]

Koishi, this is Kaguya Houraisan. Kaguya, this is Koishi Komeiji. And you may call me Mewtwo.

With that out of the way, Fayren is more suited to those more familiar with a low-technology environment. If you wish, I could help in assisting your transition.

[Yup. Just... gonna ignore the youkai clinging to his face. As difficult as that is.]

Koishi leaned in to squish her cheek against Mewtwo's, knocking her hat askew as she began her fearsome nuzzling attack. Though she paused, perking up a little at the name.

"Oh? Kauya? Kaguya hime-sama?" Her eyes were shining, several tentacles wrapping around mewtwo as she leaned closer to the phone. "I've heard that story. I love it! It's one of my absolute favorites! And now you're here!" Oh no. She's getting excited.

Satori youkai were known for storytelling so its not too surprising that she recognizes the princess.

Hmm?

[There is some blinking at the question before Grell looks down at where she's sitting.]

This chair? It's given to all employees to use at work. But you can buy your own from a shop. Do you need one?

An alien being abducted. Imagine that! [ Oh, Remilia is ever so slightly amused by that thought. ]

At least things are... interesting here.

"Good assumption! Yes, it lies to the south of where you are now. Well, I'm glad the choice was so easy for you. Will you be needing anything else? An escort, perhaps?"

I'm not looking for employment, but I would like to find one like that.

[...once she gets herself set up somewhere, anyway.]

What might there be for more elegant living spaces in Genessia City?

[The atmosphere is certainly different, but interesting.]

I should be fine by myself.

[Kaguya doesn't blame him for the annoyed look.]

...so I see. Ah, she's the younger sibling. I thought she was familiar.

[Fayren definitely seems to be the place worth checking out first for familiarity, but she is enjoying the sights of a newer city as well.]

I'm interested in seeing what's available here, too. [She pauses to regard Koishi.]

Well, yes. Not by choice, but I'll make what I can of this opportunity.

An alien refers to someone foreign. Does that not also apply to you?

[Both in Gensokyo and here.]

Indeed. I expect it will prove very interesting in the long run.

Mm, there's a fair few apartments there, though if elegance is what you've got in mind, you'll need a purse to match. The Regency apartments, on Pine and 9th, might suit the purpose.

[Mewtwo is just going to take a second and form a psychic barrier around his head and expand it outward until it looks as if he's talking from within a glowing blue bubble if only to give himself some breathing room with the encroaching tentacles.]

So you are familiar with Koishi? Her sister, Satori, is here as well.

I would caution exploring Everglade for the moment, if only because of all the cities it is the most violent. Various 'monsters' roam about, often attacking anyone who looks at all human.

I'd be happy to show you a few places that sell them.

[It's a weird request, but Grell thinks these chairs are so cool.]
