[6th silverware:] New Year's party

Nova City, Funtom Corp Office/store, 12/30-12/31, evening video/post
[Sebastian's business has been extremely busy, but prosperous. He worked here for nearly half a year, starting as a candy maker, and after Ciel, the original owner went home, Sebastian took over as the owner and manager of the company. At the end of the year, he made it, and even thought of opening new businesses and branches in some of the cities, if he wanted too, but the businessman demon haven't thought of anything yet.

For now, it's time to have some fun and he thought of this, as things has been quite lonely, and he has the money and means to throw a party. So, later that evening, he puts up signs and posters around the blocks of his shop, and then posted a public invite to the network in form of video.]

"Greetings everyone, I'm Sebastian, the owner of Funtom Corp. Whether you're a long-term resident or a new arrival, I would like to invite you all to my New Year party being held today for two evenings in my store and office in Nova City. We will be having live techno music, live DJ, live musicians, dancing and the food and drinks are completely free. Just keep in mind, I don't serve alcoholic drinks on the premises.

At the time of this message, I'm starting the party now, so feel free to come by yourself or with a friend, and please, dress casual or formal. I'll be there as your host. The party will be held from 4pm to midnight for two evenings. "

[Anastasia remembers this guy. He helped her build snow castles for her snow game. She remembers the invite to come to the Funtom Corp. Now she has an excuse, and she was there pretty quickly.

Given how close she lives to the Funtom Corp., she arrived very quickly. She came alone and dressed fan-casually. Yes, it was cold, but she is not the slightest bit bothered. Standing just at the door way, she looks around and listens to the music. She didn't quite expect this kind of genre, and she was more curious of it than anything else right now.

Anastasia is kind of blocking the door though. Whoops.]

[Sebastian, being the host of the party, it is his duty to greet guests at the door. So with a smile, he made a bow.]

Welcome, it's nice to see you again. I'm curious to know, did my snow castle hold for a while or it has melted already?

[She returned his greeting with a well-practiced curtsy.]

"The snow castles you built held out so well, the game ended in a stalemate. They both are still standing out there."

"I see. It's good to hear they still stand. I'm surprised they hold out this long. I'm always fascinated with castles in the architect of things, but for now, I make do with my manor."

[Much of it, the cold weather has been stable at cold temperatures all night long.

But then with some slight concern.]

"Have you come alone?" Of course, there were a lot of kids that just...wandered on their own, so he isn't alarmed. Just curious. "I would thought a lady like yourself should be accompanied by a chaperone at least."

"I could invite you to my sub-archway. The architecture is similar to something called, um... Ren-uh-sants?"

[Never mind it's cold all year long.

She couldn't figure out how to answer his question though. She more or less snuck out. She had a bad habit of wandering off on her own.]

"Yeah, maybe..."

[What was she trying to pronounce? The butler strained his ear to listen, and with a smile.]

"Were you trying to say Renaissance? I would love to come. And you own a subarchway too? I have mine, it's the manor I mentioned about. Unfortunately, it's located in Everglade. I would like to invite people for a tour. It's a well-made manor made in the style during Queen Victoria."

"Yes, that's it. My sub archway is of my entire home city. It's a good place for me to go when the summer comes around again."

[A Queen? Queens are almost unheard of to her, even though she is on her way to being one.]

"Queen Victoria? Who is that?"

[She still hasn't realized she is still in the door way.]

[Sebastian smiled again. Oops, she has been standing there in the doorway for too long. Sebastian escorted her to one of the seats so she can sit down, and he gestured to the DJ to lower down the volume of the music, so she can hear him talk.]

"If you would like a seat, I'll tell you all about royalty and nobility from where I'm from. Being a butler in my homeworld, I have to cater and care to noble people such as yourself."

[She carefully takes a seat as offered, looking up to Sebastian.]

"Go ahead, I would like to know, see how it differs from my world. And you are? My father wouldn't allow any male help near me. Only maids. So my castle only had maids."

"That's understandable. Ah, didn't I gave you my business card? But allow me to introduce myself. I'm Sebastian Michaelis. I am Senior Head Butler of the Phantomhive Household back home. As to answer your question, Queen Victoria is the matriarch and ruler of my country, England." [A pause.] "That would be Earth." [He said, clarifying, as most people have different names for their worlds.]

"My Master, Ciel Phantomhive, is just about your age and he's an Earl serving the Queen. The Queen herself was married to a Prince Albert, but he passed away first, so she is a widow. She is blessed with 9 children who married into other noble and royal families. Last I heard, she has an impressive number of grandchildren, about 34."

[Sebastian handed her a menu.]

"Would you like something to eat or drink for refreshments?"

[She's heard of Earth, but this was the first she's heard of England. She tries to count the countries in her head, which was about four. Is it possible Earth has more countries than her world?

After overlooking the menu, she pointed to a small platter of breaded fish sticks and any kind of fruit drink available.]

"Queen Victoria must be young to have that many children. Will you tell me about Ciel and England?"

"Oh you would like those? If you want anything else, just let me or any one of the staff know."

[He takes his menu back and makes a bow.]

"Well, for me, the year is 1889, so for most people here, I came from Earth's past, but it's the present year for me. England must be different to some people coming from different point of history."

[Since he made that clear.]

"Ciel is about your age, and we both live in a big manor that he inherited from his parents. His parents died in an accident, so he has me and the staff of other servants to care for him and his house. As for my country, England is the height of the world's industry and political powers, where we have trains running on steams and a powerful navy, as England is large continent of an island surrounded by oceans."

"I would have liked to meet Ciel, so I could ask him how he handles his responsibilities."

[She listens to the description of England. She is intrigued and wary.]

"So England is a Master Nation? Are there many others?"

"He was here in this world a few months ago, but then he left and went back to our homeworld."

[He nodded to that.]

"There are many. I can think of France, Austria, Italy on the Europe side. Across the world there is Asia with China and America with it's many states."

[She started countingon her fingers. It seems her world parallels with Earth.]

"And what is Europe, Asia and America? Are they alliances?"

[An waitress brought her meal served on a silver tray, so Anastasia can dig in to eat.]

"They're continents with their own cities and countries, and governments. Not necessary alliances, but when it comes to political matters, they do hold meetings for global affairs."

[Another party soo soon? Well, since formal attire isn't quite required, Liora attends the party anyway, still in her jewelry, but without the dress she wore to the winter party.]

[A new year with new resolves? It sure seems appropriate for Liora's situation right now. As for what to do for the party itself? Liora has no clue, really. The techno music pounds at her ears, and she has no idea how to dance to it.]

[The last time Sebastian seen a dragon, it's a dragon similar to her and it's over video. Being the host of the party, it is his duty to greet guests at the door. So with a smile, he made a bow.]

Welcome, I haven't seen you before. Are you related to the other dragon I seen before by any chance? I never did catch her name, but she's the same species and size as yourself.

[Liora turned to the butler and noted his bow, so she bowed her head in return.]

...You mean Azalea? Yes...she's from the same world, and happens to be the same dragon breed...but we're not really related. She was...part of the clan I was in...

[She shook her head upon realizing that she had yet to introduce herself.]

Oh...I'm Liora.

"I believe that's her name, yes."

[For him, it's a shame. He would like to meet her. Still, Liora would do. He smiled cheerfully.]

"Still, now that you're here. I'm pleased to meet you. Fancy meeting a dragon. Where I'm from, you are highly honored."
