1st Update - Voice

I find myself in a precarious situation. I've read the literature provided, but I can't connect to GALAX, so this network will have to do.

[There's a little sigh.]

I find myself surrounded by water, although it isn't very deep. I'll admit, I'm a bit at a loss of what to do here. If I could get online, certainly I could figure things out from there so if someone could offer directions to a computer, that would be most helpful.

I don't think anyone's going to judge you for taking care of your things, but it's not dangerous.

That's fair, but it's hard to tell with a body of water I'm not familiar with. There could be anything in it.

[Rui pauses a moment.]

There, I've made it to the shore.

I know, that's why I'm telling you.

[ Clearly she should trust a perfect stranger because Weiss says so. Mostly because it's Weiss, and she figures she should just be trusted alright alright. ]

Congratulations. There's another small flyer nearby, but it's pretty useless. It basically tells you not to panic, as though that ever helps.

I'm not panicking at least. I'm not pleased, but I'm not pulling my hair out in a panic.

[Rui sighs and looks around again. Already this place is stranger than where he was from]

Personally, I'm trying to come up with a useful map and tips flyer to replace that with. I think that'd be a lot more useful than something that just says not to panic. From what I can tell, a lot of the people who arrive here seem to be capable of taking care of themselves.

[ Otherwise there'd be a lot more people starving on the street corner. ]

I would think that the money they left with me might help with that. Most people are capable when given money to sort things out with.

Well, if they know how to use their money correctly.

I suppose you have a point, some people can be very irresponsible.

Incredibly irresponsible! There are some people here I'm amazed haven't spent it all on cookies and posters.

[ Ahem. Either way- ]

Anyway, I may not be an expert here but do you have any other questions?

Many, but I haven't really had time to gather my thoughts yet. I think I'll explore a bit on my own first.

Alright. Oh- I know it's confusing monetarily since it's a different system than other worlds, but the money you have should be enough to get you a place to stay for a while until you get a job.

[ Currency exchange rates were confusing for a quick minute since Weiss knows that the money wasn't the same as the lien where she's from, so it's probably not the same for other people. Might as well mention that. ]
