Whooooa, ladies and gentlemen I came back from my vacation to a doozy of a newsie! Everglade's New Mayor requested a recount of the Everglade City Guardian votes after a seer was found to be using her abilities to influence votes! It's unclear if she had an actual affect, but the New Mayor has sworn that justice will be swift and served for everyone if there's even a doubt in mind! And lo and behold, the polls have shifted!

Ladies, gents, bats, Team Z, and everyone in between or out- Your Everglade City Guardian is now Grell Sutcliff! Con-grat-u-lations!

[ Cue the balloon and confetti drop while he puppet dances back and forth until the newscast ends. ]

[ OOC note: Due to OOC circumstances, Danny Phantom's player has stated that he will withdraw from being the new City Guardian. ]

[Standing in the middle of the sidewalk, Grell simply stares up at the big screen in Nova City. She was on her way to work when the broadcast aired.

She looks absolutely shocked. Sometimes she has to squint her eyes to make sure that's her name at the bottom of the screen, but overall, this is something she didn't see coming. After a broadcast ends, there is a growing crowd gathering around her, taking pictures and videos of the newly appointed City Guardian of Everglade. Grell doesn't even notice them. There's just too many things rolling through her mind right now. Her plans, her ambitions...they'll all have to be brushed off from being tossed to the side after losing.

Eventually, reality catches up and Grell does react properly.]
