[She travels a bit of here and there, introducing herself to meet and greet new people, and that's how she learn quickly to get around the cities and get to know the world better. She got a job quickly enough, and hopefully that will make a sizeable savings in her bank in due given time.

She's in the town square, working as an Everglade Ranger and as part time escort for Namur's Jolly Eddy's.]

"Soooo, this is Everglade. Kinda spooky for a city with all of this fog. Anyway, hello! This is Ruby. I heard this town need some help, so I decide to work as an Everglade Ranger and for Jolly Eddy's."

[And she did make some first successes as a bounty hunter!]

"So far, my job is to protect the civilians and keep everything under control. I hope that will help. What do you think?"

[Ted insisted on accompanying her since Everglade is...well, Everglade. That and chilvarous sentiment. In fact, he'll combine an escort and an introduction.]

"Hello, Ms. Ruby. I'm Ted. Let's walk together this evening." [Not taking a 'no' on that one.]

"You've certainly picked an...interesting city to be so devoted to. Not that I'm complaining, mind. Was your necklace blue when you arrived?"

[Totally fell for it! But that because she met a lot of beings while wandering around like a derp.]

[He's referring to Everglade being spooky. Which it does not bother him in the slightest. Currently, the green-hair was lounging on a wall a little ways above Ruby, wearing his mask as he was expecting a call for work soon. Or maybe the client canceled. He didn't care either way.]

You're working for Namur, too?

Do you wear that mask all the time? It must be hard to see with all of this fog.

[He almost feels bad for getting her hopes up this much.]

"Let's see...I'm getting...a vision. You started at a school called Signal, before transferring to...Beacon...to become a 'Huntress'...to fight Grimm. Oh! And...you skipped two years. Quite the student! You use a scythe named 'Crescent Rose' to fell your foes; one which you made yourself. It also doubles as a...sniper rifle. (somehow) Your favorite food is cookies.

You're in Everglade? The grimmest place that hates humans? You know there are perfectly not terrible cities such as Nova City and Genessia? Attleton has crime and it's okay.

The Everglades? [Oh dear--] Do not linger there! Such a region is quite inhospitable to humans.

[This worries Regis greatly. Ruby Rose might be a Huntress of some kind but she's still just a youth! Surely she didn't venture off there alone.

Someone else trying to play hero. I think that's just what Everglade needs.

[Don't mind the little girl and her sarcasm, Ruby.]

{ Ruby's back again and wants to clean up Everglade. Talk about deja vu. He knows that she won't remember him, but he'll offer her advice anyway.}

Be careful if you decide to explore the tunnels beneath the Lowerarchy. There were petrified monsters there from a battle I participated in, though the one who petrified them has long since disappeared from this world. I am unsure if they have been freed, or not.

[Sweatdropping, when she realized she probably made a mistake]

I...I didn't know Jaune! All I heard is a call for help. Is this city that bad? Well, if that worries you, I'll work for a while until I figure out what to do next. For now I work in a group and I usually rush out before the sun sets.

[At least for now. She'll check those cities out in the future.]

Well, he gave me a test, and then I escort this weird guy Zoro, and he said I passed.

[Anyway, Ruby thinks he's a weird guy too, wearing a mask.]

Okay, Mr. mysterious. So, how do you manage to work in this town if everyone said it's so dangerous?

I work in a group, so I'm not alone. But really, is it that bad? I heard a call for help.

[Her question comes her naiveté and ignorance of this place.]

Um, you know, I probably won't work for long. It's only temporary help. I work during the day, and then I'm out by the late afternoon before the sun sets.

If civilians need help and protection, then that's what I'll do, and Everglade is a good start.

[She's about to say something smart and sassy to put the other girl in her place, like "What have you done to heed the call of duty?" But decide not to say anything and just...hang up on her lol, as she would rather focus on her job than to play games.

Beeeeeep. Sorry, ain't got the time for that!]

Hello, and thank you for the advice. [She heeds his warning.] I'll just start in little bits and stay on the surface then. I work with a group where their job is to escort people and prevents fights. Namurr and his team taught me how to do the job and work here correctly.

Then I'll be out of the city by late afternoon, before sundown.

Thank you Shiemi, I'll be all right. When I heard this town could use a bit of help, I feel the call to answer. I won't work here for long, as it's only a temporary job and help.

"I swear I was thinking of puppies..." Ruby said, and for a moment, she was doubtful.

But she smiled, "That's cool! You're correct! You got me down to the T!" The one and only Ruby. "So, that's telepathy? You got an awesome power there!" Yep, she fell for it and is completely convinced that Ted got the power.

[Anise here with positive reinforcement. Some people are just debby downers when it comes to the place in general.]

I think you'll do well in Everglade.
