[It's been a while since she's bothered to say anything to anyone other than her husband for... various reasons she'd rather not speak much on. But today she's just sort of filming this nonsense from the inside of the currently empty dojo, a few small scratches on her cheek that look like they're from nails of some sort. Huh.]

Honestly... [There's a soft bit of a huff, pushing her hair behind her ear as is normal.]

It's been quite some time since I've really interacted with anyone on a frequent basis and let me be the first to, I guess, apologize for it. It's been... a bit of a rough time lately, but things are settling down and going back to normal, or about as normal as it can get around here and for me.

[Oh, that's... that might be the cause of the scratches on her cheek given there's a tiny purring fluffball that has decided to make her way onto 18's shoulder.]

Also, thank you, Koishi for the gifts. I'm not sure whether I want to set in on fire or not, the... snuggie, was it called? But little Sixteen [that is a stupid name and you should feel bad, Eighteen.] is already causing enough havoc for myself and my husband.

[Don't mind Krillin, he's just using the snuggie himself, with more than a few scratch marks on his face. Sixteen didn't like him at first, but they're getting along now. He has a way with things named after numbers apparently.]

Well I'm enjoying it. This place gets so cold. I'm used to Kame House's tropical climate year round...

[Stop stealing her snuggie, that's just rude since she likes the thing. Not that she'll ever openly admit that.]

I kind of miss it, even though I grew up in a colder atmosphere than this. [North City was a hell of a thing given it was in damn mountains after all.]

"You're welcome Miss!" There was the happy little Koiball. "The snuggie is very snuggly though. It is warm and comfy and then you have a kitten for your lap and then you can watch movies! It's great!"

She's probably already aware of that Koishi.

"I'm glad you're happy with them though. It's good to be full of warm fuzzies. And to be covered in warm fuzzies! And warm fuzzies in general!"

[Koishi is too good for this world and the fact that anyone likes her in this place is mind boggling to her, so hey, need to be polite.]

Eighteen. Please don't call me Miss. [That's too formal and it honestly kind of bothers her, for whatever strange reason she might be able to think of. However, her attention is distracted for a brief moment by a yawn and loud purring from the fluff on her shoulder. Yeah, just... going to scratch the small thing behind an ear there.]

I can't recall ever having a... pet before, so it's a new experience. She's certainly... active, given she's scratched up Krillin quite a good bit until recently. [But they're okay now, mostly. Probably.]

"Oh... I can try Miss!" Goddammit Koishi. "I have a hard time with people's names since my head broke. I'll try really hard to remember though. Since its a number it will be easy. Maybe." A pause. "I like the number eight!"

It was a start.

"Pets are good to have. They are fun and soft and kittens like string and wiggly fingers. But if she scratches you can say 'ow' really loud and stop playing with her. She'll learn that she shouldn't scratch you."

[Dammit, Koishi. She'll... live with it, probably. Since she's not actively trying to irritate her by calling her by that title. Oh well.] It's... it's fine. Don't push yourself over it.

[Kittens are strange, but they seem far easier to deal with than anything else she's encountered thus far, since she seems more content on just purring and snuggling against her. And sometimes Krillin now. Sometimes. Rarely.]

Mm. I'll have to keep that in mind then, since I hadn't really... thought about doing that. She hadn't really meant to, it was just an accident from climbing onto my shoulder. [On her part, at least.]

"Okay!" Koishi's smile just didn't go away, did it? Not ever.

"It's a good thing to do when you're teaching her how to play. Kittens like to scratch when they play. But teaching her like this means she wont ever use her claws on you and only on the toys. She'll still swat with her paws though. But that's fine. Kittens have really cute and tiny paws."

The little youkai clapped suddenly, hopping up and down once. She was probably holding the phone with a tentacle now considering both hands were visible... "Oh! have you been to a pet store yet? Everyone there will be really helpful in picking things out for her and I bet you'll find things she likes. Just keep her away from the catnip unless you plan on buying it."

[Hey, there's room for two under here!]

Yeah, for all its issues, Kame House was pretty nice. But, on the positive side, here we have our privacy.

[Krillin is just gonna wiggle his eyebrows at 18.]
