Good evening everyone, I have some news I wanted to get across now my work is complete.

[It was hard to tell where she was to begin with, at least until she turned it around to show a sign stating 'Amagi Inn: Fayren Branch' It was another moment or two before she turns it back around, a soft smile on her face.]

I had been working on doing this since December and it took a long time, but I finally managed to finish and now I am able to open it. But I was hoping to do some sort of Grand Opening thing with it, or just open it and she who will come. I'm still not sure which yet.

[She tapped her finger against her chin lightly.]

For everyone I sent out a voucher for a free stay which can go to up to to weeks, if you want to use it for the Fayren branch please let me know, same with the Genessia branch as well. The voucher also mentions other branches which will take some time to be able to do, but eventually I am hoping to be able to have branches in all of the cities, each themed around the city itself.

[She had moved to walk inside her inn, it was clearly obvious that the inside was different than the one in Genessia. It was less...her kind of traditional and more Fayren styled traditional.]

I'm also thinking about putting those vouchers by the entrance for new arrivals to use to stay at the inn while they settle in. But I'm not sure, so I would like some input on that one. [A small pause.]

I guess that is all I need to say right now.

[She gives a small bow of the head she switches off... sort of. She has one message she needs to send privately.]

[Yukiko has been nice to Kay when he arrived, annoyed and confused, and had shown an impressive amount of patience. The least he can do is congratulate her.]

After being here so long, it's the least I could do really.

[While they were all in the same situation it just made sense, plus she was pretty sure helping out would have been something Yu would have done.]

Which reminds me, how are you since we last spoke?

I'm doing a bit better, thanks for asking. There's a member of my team in the city now. And some others who are from my world but from different points in time, that's a bit weird.

Oh, that's great. You must be very happy to have someone you know here. Though different points in time? I know that isn't a new thing, but that must be odd for you.

I'm glad that Bodhi Rook is here. Not so much about that other person because we seems to be from opposite sides of the war. But yes, it's weird.

But because of it, it makes me wonder. Have you figured out where you want to live or if you want to work and such?

I'm now living in Genessia City. I take bounty hunter jobs from time to time but I am looking for a more steady job, related to security

Do you know if the Schnee company is hiring security guards? She had many places that seem to hire them, so you can check with her and see.

Ah, thank you. It's really the least I could do. Though I do wonder if there was more I could do.

[Not that there was really much else she could do really.]

It is, or at least a small part of it. But I'd rather explain it all in person if that is okay?

Is the headquarters where the Guardian usually resides? or did you move it?

It's still where it has been since I arrived. I haven't moved it -- it's perfectly serviceable as it is.

Okay, then I will head over there. Might take me thirty minutes though from here.

[And, true to his word, when Yukiko arrives, she will find Xander in his office.]

[Yukiko nodded, device off as she took her time. She had to come from the inn after all and it was some distance away. When she arrived she made sure to be polite and at least knock on the door first.]

Enter.

[When Yukiko arrives, Xander is hard at work. He's currently looking over some documents, which he puts down when Yukiko arrives. They can wait for as long as he has a visitor.]

Welcome. You said you wanted to see me?

[She opened the door, going to walk in before she closed it behind her.]

I did. It is about my inn, which when I say it sounds a little odd, but I have good reason to say as such.

[She walked and went over toward the desk.]

I arranged for the inn to not only be a place to be used for vacations and the like, but also to be used in Fayren emergencies. If you are wondering why exactly it's because there is a secret area underneath the building that can be used as a shelter.

[She paused for a moment.]

When there have been major emergencies and we needed to get people out, we've always had to have someone by the archway in order to even get people across. With what I've done all we have to do is taken them underground where there is food, medical supplies and like to last a while. It's also useful because how to get in will only be known by myself, you of course and any deputy guardians.

[Xander keeps his mouth closed during Yukiko's explanation, instead simply paying close attention to what she says. And what she says surprises him. He never would have had any idea that there was such a thing underneath the inn.]

I see. That could be something that will come in handy someday -- though ideally it won't be necessary. But I'll remember that it's there. Thank you for letting me know.

It could also be handy for if the magic crisi becomes a thing again. Since I don't think it was ever figured out how to fix those whose magic suddenly vanishes.

[She was thinking back on it and nothing was coming to her mind.]

Last I can remember someone died because healing magic couldn't be used for whatever reason... But so far I don't think I've seen any other cases, so maybe it fixed itself.

I've already begun to have an investigation conducted on that matter. I will be informed as soon as they learn anything important.

And on a related note, if you would still like to be a Deputy Guardian, the position is yours.

Then I hope you'll find something that I didn't.

[She was a little puzzled for a moment, how did the talk about underneath the inn end up on something like that.]

Is there a reason you offer the position?

Well, we discussed it during the election, did we not? I'm a man of my word.

I remember mentioning it if I won, my only thing for if I lost was a meeting. Which I guess in a way we are doing currently, so really you still are a man of your word.

Yes, we did, and here we are. You have impressed me enough to warrant my offering you the position, if you would like to have it.

If it will help, then I will accept.

It will. After all, there is only so much one individual can do.

That I guess is true. It's why a Guardian usually has deputies... To lighten the load a tiny bit and to pretty much have more eyes on the look out.

At least how is how I've always seen it.

I assume you mean on the new inn since I've not had any appointments.

Is there anything special about the new branch? Like do the baths in the bathing area float since it is a magical area?

No, it's nothing like that, I mean in that case how would people be able to get in? I mean it is more magical, but not the main thing that makes this one different.

It's more to do with an area underneath it.
