[When it finally gets working a blue eye stares back at you. At least for a brief moment anyway. After that moment he moves it back to reveal a blond haired man looking awfully calm and collected for someone who ended up in another world.]

I do believe that I am without my travelling companions. [He pauses for a moment, he was starting to wonder since Mokona wasn't here to help sort out with the translation of languages, if the people here could even understand him. So that gave him a pause for thought. Oh well if they can't he'll just keep quiet afterwards and figure out some other way... if that was possible. Oh boy.]

The world of witches was called purgatory, basically, and it's where they all went to different worlds as well. It's... pretty complicated, sorry if I can't explain very well!

I was stuck in purgatory for a long time. There, no time actually passed but... I could tell, it was about three years for me. But... I haven't actually aged at all. Nope, I'm still eighteen.

I am of a similar situation it seems as I cannot find certain people. The name is Kakkei Jubei. While this is not Japanese it seems that I can understand you somehow.

I'm unsure of the cause, Fai-dono. I've heard of gimmicks where people sell tapes so one can supposedly learn a new language during sleep but this feels different from that. I can still speak in Japanese as well as Latin but this language is completely different. And yet I can understand even obscure words without difficulty.

Gimmicks... I must say those types of things are something I've never heard of before. I most certainly know I've never learnt another language.

[He wonders maybe something they have on some might be the cause, but that would cause for some form of investigation and one he could attempt to do in private.]

I still believe my theory that some type of device translates both of our languages and helps us to speak the same language. [This is from experience and the fact he is use to Mokona doing something along those lines.]

In any case, welcome to this prison. I might have missed it upon my arrival, but was there any sort of public board with information or advertisements on it near the central lake? We can't be the only two looking for certain people so something of the sort would be useful.

I cant say if I spotted it right off the bat, but I can always double check and see. Why, did someone mention something about a board?

No, but it would certainly be useful for those who have close friends who aren't here or are looking for something in particular. A way to notify newcomers if they have someone here they might know. My eyes no longer function so I have no way of knowing if there is already such a thing.
