WHO: Fluttershy and You!
WHAT: She arrived just thirty minutes ago and things are all different and scary.
WHEN: 2nd May
WHERE: Around the bay

[Fluttershy kept very close to the sides, watching the whatever they were walk past, she even at some point tried to hide. She didn't like being stared at it was just too much. So for now she decided to stick to the walls and hopes that these things won't bother her too much and that she can eventually get back home to the safety of Ponyville and everything would be okay.]

Come on Fluttershy, you can do this... you can be brave.

[She inhaled deeply before she attempted to take a step away from the wall, but froze just as she was about to when another stranger walked past. Yep this might take a while for her to overcome it and actually move away from the wall.]

"I-I guess your right" She said as she moved out a little more, ears still pressed down on her head as she tried to gain some stability to her shakes. Still might take a while but she is trying.

"I guess they aren't so bad."

"That's the spirit!" Betelgeuse encouraged, chortling. "Hey. You got lucky. I'm the ghost with the most. Best guide to the afterlife you could have!"

"Best guide the...uh...afterlife? Does this mean I'm dead" She said as the realization slowly dawned on her. How did she die, when did she die? She couldn't even remember dying. This wasn't good, not at all.

"I-I don't remember dying, I just remember waking up here."

"No, no, no, no, you aren't dead," Betelgeuse scolded. "Don't throw your back out jumping to conclusions! I just meant I could help you learn about ghosts, so you won't be shaking about them. This place, well it's weird as hell, but it's just a city. Granted a city a that kind of abducts people, but still, a living, actual city."

"...That's...Good?" She said almost like she was asking a question, then again being abducted wasn't a good thing to say the least.

"I'll try not to be as scared about ghosts, but they are kind of spooky."

Betelgeuse grinned, proudly.

"Of course we are! That's kinda part of being a ghost, right? Scaring people, reminding them that they're alive? That life is strange. Being scared is part of being h--erm. A person."

She actually listened for a moment, so that's what a ghost is for. She had no idea.

"O-Oh! So you must enjoy being a ghost then, even if it means scaring people."

"Well, kinda. It has its perks, I guess, but death is never something I would recommend, babes. Fight to stay alive as long as you can."

"I do plan to live for a while yet, I don't exactly want to die. it's just a very scary thought"

"Being dead isn't scary, babes, just annoying. It just gets so dull after a few centuries. Oh, but, hey, you look healthy enough, right? Nothing to worry about."

She gives a small nod, but just thinking about death was enough to give her the shivers never the less.

"I-I am. Uh...It was very nice to meet you. I think I've learnt quite a bit today."

"Hey, you're welcome. I'm a handy guy to have around!" he said, spreading his hands. "I have, too. Didn't know their were talking ponies. Where are you from?"

"oh, um...I'm from Ponyville." She answered feeling like she should at least be polite when she had to be.

"Ponyville," Betelgeuse repeated, chuckling. "What's your world called, though? I'm from Earth."

"My world, it's Equestria." She answer smiling a little happier right no. "So your from a non talking pony place called Earth, right? I mean, I assume there aren't any, but |I am sorry for assuming should you actually do."

"You got it right, babes," Betelgeuse assured her. "No talking ponies, I'm afraid. I mean, we have magic, but not that."

"You have magic too? I mean I don't have magic, but unicorns do." She asked curiously, she knew Twilight would at least love to hear things such as this, so maybe learning in case she comes might be a nice idea.

"Heh. I'm no unicorn, just a ghost, but I got plenty of magic, sure," Betelgeuse said. "I'm the ghost with the most. What kind of magic do unicorns do?"

"I'm not sure exactly, but two of my friends do all sorts of magic with their horns. It's amazing really." She said with a small smile on her face, they all really were amazing.

Betelgeuse shrugged. "Well, maybe they'll show up eventually. You're pretty amazing. Can you actually fly with those wings?"

She gives a small nod. "Yes, although I'm not the best at it, but I can fly if needed." She wasn't the most confident when it came to it, but she knew she sometimes would come through with it if she needed to at least.

"Hey, don't worry, babes. It took me a decade or two to get really good at the flying thing. Had to fight living instincts, y'know? It just takes a bit of practice."

"It's Fluttershy....not babes." She said lowering herself to the ground. It takes time she knew that and she had her whole life to do such a thing, she just wasn't always strong enough no matter how hard she tried.

"Okay, okay, sorry, Fluttershy," Betelgeuse complained. "I didn't mean nothing."

"It's fine." She said trying her hardest to once more seem brave, but she knew how she had things she probably should be doing.

"I should go find somewhere to stay and well...get sorted, I suppose. It was nice speaking to you."
