[ So he's been here a little while; mostly, he's been keeping to himself while he figures this stuff out. It's way different than Eos; for one, he's so used to the open road that this is gonna take a lot to get used to. A lot. He's getting himself acquainted with the shops, the fact that with no imminent threat, he has a lot of time on his hands.

... Right now, he's on a specific mission. There's a certain food he's looking for. This could make or break this place. Find him several places in Genessia City--he's the type to keep moving, so lots of places are fair game.

Later on, though, he puts out a video message. ]

I'm guessin' no one's found out who kidnapped us and brought us here, huh?

[ He's just, like... only slightly irritated. He has important things to do. ]

Spirits, huh. Something as powerful as they are to bring us here, you'd think you'd have ferreted out their names by now.

[He puts a hand to his chin, in immaculate thoughtfulness.]

"I...don't follow. Why would their power make our curiosity easier? Seems they could just as equally apply their potency to personal mystique. Oh! Speaking of names, I haven't ferreted yours, just yet."

[ Well, if anything, he's learned this guy is quite the talker. Awesome. ]

Gladio. You gonna give me yours?

[Oh, right. He snort a small laugh.]

"Mfp. All right, but you have to give it back. It's Ted, pleasure to meet you, and welcome to Genessia!"

[It's a more-pleasant-than-not kinda place, he swears.]

Unfortunately, no one has. It is still being investigated to this day, if that eases your thoughts at all.

[ The red head is sitting in a rather plain room then, wearing a mechanic's jumpsuit and having a little bit of black grease on gloves that she's putting back on. Don't mind her, she might be tinkering while the video is going on. ~~She also isn't paying attention to Ted's post above.~~ ]

If it were easier to find out who or why, I would imagine not even half of us would remain here.

Been here long?

Since last spring.

[ She's no longer looking at the camera at all, instead grabbing a screwdriver and seeming to work on something rather intensely. ]

Some people, so far as I know, have been here for years. Some leave after only weeks. I do not know of any reason behind either instance, only that arriving and leaving is done by no choice of our own. That, and I suppose that when people are returned to their homes they are returned to the instant they left? I could not say for certain, but it does seem to be the case.

I... I don't know. Th-There's lots of smart people here, so maybe s-someone knows?

Maybe. So far, no go. [ ... hrm. ] You doin' okay, kid?

[He looked momentarily confused, since he felt pretty normal. 'Nervous' was pretty much what he always was.

So he nodded, trying to come up with an answer for how he was okay.]

Y-Yeah, I helped build a r-really nice home to stay in.

[Chiaki had her hood up today when she turned on the device. Not that she had much to add to what has been already said anyway.]

I don't think I could really add to this, as I know as much as the others. But, I find for me it wasn't a case of them kidnapping me.

[Now she knew what happened to her anyway, she didn't see it like that.]

Not that I came here willing either but... now I would have been okay being here.

*Faye has very recently arrived in Genessia and is still trying to figure out where the best places to eat are. She's been doing a fair bit of wandering around herself.

At the moment, she seems to have found somewhere to eat, lingering outside to have a proper look at their menu before going in. That's when she starts patting at the pockets of her jacket and her shorts. It starts softly, then gets a bit more frantic, before finally she gives the sign a swift kick and cursing at it, despite any passers by*

...Gladiolus?

[The look upon the old king's face is utterly priceless. One would think he saw a ghost by the way he stares into the screen of his phone. However, Gladiolus wasn't the one who perished when the treaty signing turned south. The only ghoul around here should be Regis but he's very much alive right now. Alive and dressed in his Sunday's best that consists of a black pinstriped suit, crisp white button down shirt and a rather snazzy damask patterned blue tie. Regis isn't wearing his more familiar royal raiment anymore but he still looks quite regal.]

Did you just arrive? [He still can't believe his eyes here.] If only your father was here...

[She peers at the phone and her eyes widen.]

Gladiolus, is it truly you?

( he's quiet for a moment as his video feed clicks on to reply.
a stoic expression slowly and gently changes into a smile that noctis just can't help. )

Took you long enough. ( a joking tone, to set the mood. )
