*On your screens now is a very bashful-looking Sonico. And why shouldn't she be blushing when she's wearing this rather NSFW outfit? Only, for Sonico, she's wearing it because it is her work. She is standing in the lobby of a mall, and it looks like she's gathered quite a crowd. The camera zooms into Sonico*

If you've been doing any weekend shopping, you might find Sonico dressed up and standing outside different stores on rotation, beckoning customers and handing out fliers.

And the moment Sakuya saw the commercial she was off, leaving her time-drenched presence in the castle so she could hear if she was called. She would arrive at the mall in semi-casual attire, bought a coffee, and simply kept Sonico in a reasonable line of sight.

That outfit was too sexy and Sonico was too innocent. She was worried, okay? And if anyone decided to lay hands on her they might just find their hands missing later...

[Athrun is straight up not even going to bother replying via video. Seeing Sonico in that outfit was just a bit too much for his brain to handle straightaway. At least travel time would help him steel himself.

When he gets to the mall, he immediately starts searching for Sonico. Trying hard not to blush or to look at anything below her neck, he approaches when he spots her and speaks to her in a soft voice.]

Who in the hell had you wear that...that!

Sonico smiled at every customer, and eventually ran out of fliers - they seemed to be taken from her very quickly today. She sighed, a little tired, and glanced around. Maybe she could sneak off to go get a coffee before she had to do the next round... She glanced in the direction of - wait, was that Sakuya?

*Sonico smiles when she sees Athrun, quickly turning away from whatever guy she was handing a flier to. But his voice catches her off guard a little, and she looks at him, concerned*

This? It's for my job today. I'm promoting. Don't you like it?

Oh no. She's been spotted!

Nope! Not Sakuya at all. It's some other doll like woman with silver hair and a skin complexion that looks like she's never seen the light of day. Look! She's drinking coffee and not tea! And she's avoiding eye contact!

And off to the side. Patchouli's sitting down somewhere nearby.]

I'm impressed anyone can wear something like you had in pubic and not completely lose their nerve. [Have you had some of your self-awareness removed, young lady]

My my, usually I have to pay a cover fee for this kind of view.

[ Jerrie takes Sonico's flyer for the candy store she's advertising in front of. It's hard to tell how thoroughly Jerrie is gawking at Sonico with those unblinking and pupiless artificial eyes. The head does seem to turn downward to glance at the flier. ]

I'm afraid I'm new here, so I haven't quite had time to acquire a loved one to purchase special gifts for.

[ Ayame was out window shopping in Nova City's mall, with nothing in hand other than her cup of coffee. Even with high heels, she remains to be a naturally sneaky person, so while Sonico is handing out flyers, Ayame takes a sip of her coffee while standing next to the other girl like she's been there the whole time ]

It's good to know that some things don't change. Even in the "future", stores still use sex appeal as a marketing strategy.

[ She's starting to think of resorting to such tactic, but her pride and sense of honor gets in the way. Maybe when she's drunk one day, she will have to ask Sonico here for help ]

Busy day?

[ She approached Sonico much like this a while back, when she made an impromptu performance. But Ayame had to leave early before she could do any conversing with Sonico, much to her annoyance at the time. Hopefully she will get to have a talk with Sonico this time. Ayame is curious to know more about this girl, because what makes Sonico a "normal" person is what's strange and unique to Ayame. ]

*A fee? Sonico doesn't really get that*

Oh no, there are only fees if you choose to take a picture with me. I'm afraid that's not an option today, however.

*Done with speaking, she looks him over carefully. That's a weird head, but she figures he must be working in costume today too*

Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you coukd buy something for when you do come across a loved one. Or treat yourself!

Hmm...No. Maybe it wasn't Sakuya at all. It would be strange of her not to wave. Sakuya wouldn't avoid her like that, surely not. And so Sonico decides to turn away to talk to the next person that appears by her side.

*Where is that voice coming from? It isn't one she recognises. Sonico turns and glances around, eyes darting here and there. She wonders if it's the woman sitting at the side, so Sonico speaks in her general direction*

I don't mind. I'm only doing my job.

*Ayame appearing by her side like that is sudden and quite terrifying. Sonico starts and drops the few fliers she had left, watching them flutter to the ground around her feet*

Oh! Ayame! Hello! I -

*She started the awkward business of crouching down to scoop uo the fliers she had dropped. It wad quite difficult, given what she was wearing*

Oh yes, the mall is very busy today. Lots of people busy shopping. For Valentine's Day I suppose.

Haha, good to know. I do so admire a woman with your kind of confidence. I'll have to take you up on that when it does become available as an option.

Do you have a different place you work for that kind of thing?

[ Nui was unironically interested in posing with cute girls. ]

I might decide on that latter option, yes, although truth be told I remain unemployed and my cash flow is limited.

It would be prudent not to be overly spendy.

Sakuya risked a glance again after a few tense moments and... Sonico wasn't looking anymore. That had been close. Perhaps she should have worn a hat...? And then dismissed the idea just as quickly. Her hair was hard enough to tame as is.

The woman with silver hair would remain in that spot throughout Sonico's shift, only vanishing for brief moments to take care of the castle's needs or her own. Hopefully she wouldn't be noticed again... maybe...

That looks...uncomfortable.

You are going to get cold and sick. [Somehow, they always end having this conversation.]

[ Ayame turns her head to the side, giving a scanning glance at the crowd in the mall. ]

Are you all right wearing this? I mean, has anyone tried to bother you?

*Sonico glances aside for a moment, disappointed with his response. She's received many comments and compliments on her outfit, and she realises suddenly that she was hoping he would like how she looked*

Hmm? Oh, just the usual. People have been pretty respectful, mostly. Besides, there are security nearby if I need them.

[Athrun takes a deep breath. He hadn't seen any security around.]

Well, if you're sure you'll be all right.

Are you comfortable like that?

*The talent agency security were pretty good at their job and blending into surroundings*

It's not totally comfortable...but it's not the most uncomfortable either.

*She places her hands just beneath her breasts and glances down*

Though it is kind of restricting...

Oh, it isn't so bad.

*Sonico moves her arms around a little just to show how much free movement she has. Plus she decides to lean forward and back - apologies for any cleavage close up*

Don't worry - I'll get a break soon and they bring me a big warm blanket and a hot pot of tea.
