Winter, February 13th - Sleepless Night

[ Genessia had made Ayame happy and more at peace for the most part, but this night was the first in a long time that she vividly remembered dark memories she wants to stay buried. Needless to say, Ayame was woken up from her otherwise strict sleep schedule. Wearing nothing but a silken robe over her nightgown and with a cup of warm chocolate in her hand, Ayame gazes into the nighttime scenery of Genessia that helps ease her troubled mind, Ayame checked the time on her phone. It's late for early risers like her, but for many people, 10 pm isn't even late.

Even when she has Anastasia staying with her and Hibiki who is sound asleep in the living room, it didn't ease the lonesome feeling that's plaguing her at the moment. She wasn't sure if it was a distant sound of a siren, or just her own mind, but it jolted her from a lost state. Refusing to stay depressed, Ayame had an idea. ]

It's Ayame. Anyone of you still awake?

[ Phone in hand, she sent that text message to a bunch of people she had met and like enough to be considered an acquaintance. Hoping any of them would still be awake at this hour. ]

[ Ayame is really starting to enjoy this little teasing tête-à-tête that she's growing more comfortable with coming up responses to play it up. All thanks to the movies and books she's been consuming like crazy, she's gotten a lot better with these sassy exchanges. She walks a couple more paces towards the kitchen, while swaying her hips like usual in the way she walks ]

As for "she", well, there comes our third detail: the stylish packaging it came. A wool fabric of fine quality wrapped around the box and all held together with a satin bow. But above all: the hint of perfume from the card on the box.

[ Ayame gives him a nod with another slow bite off the bar, giving just more "hints" on who could this be. The fabric isn't something one can simply buy off a store. It looks like something delivered to specialty shops from clothiers. While the perfume smells of fresh aquatic fragrance, masked by the more overwhelming aroma of the chocolate and the vanilla in the kitchen around them. It's not just the card that bears that watery smell around here.

Ayame leans on the kitchen counter, crossing one arm just under her chest while gently waving around the bar on her other hand as she speaks ]

Ah, a keen sense of smell. That was my first clue that it wasn't Blaze. Though that does bring up an interesting point...

[He leans on the counter next to Ayame with a shit eating grin.]

[ That grin, though shit eating as it is, feels contagious. Ayame almost chuckles just because of it and lost this little game between them already, but she was intent on dragging this one out just one bit longer. So with a hum, she takes a small bite to bare her pearly white teeth, before leaning closer towards Dante that it bares her neck and chest more for him to smell that perfume ]

[ She asked in a whisper towards his ear. She's leaning very close towards him that her cheek could feel the heat emanated from his skin, and she could see and appreciate that strong looking jaw and the masculine stubble, giving her feelings that that made her voice sound a little more than teasing. Her toes curl as she brushes her feet on and passed her ankles. Something is brewing beneath her skin, a type of feverish heat she has never felt before, making her eager to see Dante's next move ]

[He leans forward again, practically pressing his face to Ayame's neck, taking a good long sniff of her scent.]

[ Ayame almost backed off when Dante leaned forward, but a deep and unknown desire made her stand her ground, only moving her foot a couple inches back. Feeling Dante this close and breathing at her skin made her feel goosebumps all over. She purses her lips to stifle a noise that Dante would just tease her for. Her pupils dilate at hearing his words, making her skin feel hotter. Ayame blinks, glancing left and right and unable to look Dante in the eyes until she gathered some courage to do so.

[ She had a retort in mind, but as soon as she spoke, her words retreated. This was the extent her flirting can take her, all she wants now is something she never thought she'd want - or have. Ayame's eyes flutter as her hands rub against each other by her legs. This was just like in the movies where the man kisses the woman, right? She's never been kissed before, so the idea of doing so was overwhelming. Ayame has been caught, and all she could do right now is stand there and try to quell the heat inside her, while appreciating the look of Dante's eyes and lips this close to her ]

[He grins, looping an arm around Ayame's waist, pulling her a little closer.]

[He chuckles lightly before leaning in, hoping he was reading the signals right as he went in for a kiss.]

[ He did it. He actually did it! Ayame's mind went from a raging storm into a placid void within the blink of an eye upon feeling that warmth on her lips and that firm arm around her waist. She didn't know what to do for she can't even think. But with every nibble of her lips, her enthusiasm to kiss him back grows. She followed what her heart told her, putting a hand and running it down Dante's chest and to his stomach, while the other gripped his shoulder to pull him in closer.

Briefly breaking off that sweet contact to catch her breath and ease her racing heart, Ayame whispered to him while their foreheads touch ]

[ Ayame bit her lip, a smirk tugging at her lips as this feeling of being "caught" just excites her in ways she's never felt before. Her eyes shift toward the direction of her room, with them giving off a suggestive look before she ravenously kisses him again ]

[Dante was more than happy to indulge Ayame's enthusiasm, the hand on her waist drifted lower to give her rear a firm squeeze before reluctantly releasing her at her suggestion.]

[ That squeeze was to be expected, yet Ayame didn't see that coming. She didn't see any of this coming. Was she really about to do this? Her mind was at a blur, feeling overwhelmed at this haze that began to envelop her. The firmness of that grip on a place like that was so sordid, and she felt some shame that she enjoyed that immensely. Anxiety grew within her, as did the anticipation and pent up frustration she bottled up inside for so many years.

Living in an apartment has its downsides, after all. Her eyes stared at Dante from by the door with an almost predatory glare. The night went as expected. Clothes went off and flung to the floor, Ayame and Dante got to know each other more intimately than before. Ayame reveled in the attention she sensed from Dante's eyes as he looked at her naked body, while the same went for her.
