[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Mid afternon, a large part of Fayren's Woodlands suddenly exploded from a bolt of what locals called lightning. Some of the more suspicious locals began screaming about the anger of God and immediately started going door to door demanding everyone they could meet to attend Church and repent for their sins so that God would be appeased. Others attributed it to a particularly bad lightning strike - though the amount of damage that was sustained made that assessment hardly believable. Fortunately no one was damaged in the explosion, but numerous animals were forced to relocate due to the loss of their homes. Cleaning Crew or Thieving Crew?
There's a brief article in the paper about a pair of gentlemen who visited an influential elderly woman in Fayren. The more social of the pair chatted her up and even started to clean her house as a show of their abilities. The victim, Elinor, claimed that the boy was cute so she hadn't thought to watch his partner while he cleaned outside. However, after 30 minutes of this she heard her dog starting to growl and bark - she attempted to go to his side. And that's when the redhead boy started babbling nonsense and screaming, frightening the poor woman into hiding in her room. Fortunately things did not become violent, and he and his companion left shortly. When Elinor finally emerged to check on her dog, she found him unharmed but his precious new collar - a beautiful jade amulet - had been stolen. Alas the authorities were unable to find the thieves, and they were disinclined to search when the only thing stolen was a necklace. [Contributed bycelestial_wizard]
Pokemon Craze Sweeps Genessia
Most people weren't sure what to think of the new adorable pet slaves they received on May 1st, but one thing is absolutely certain: EVERYBODY WANTS MORE! Pokemon merchandise has flooded retail stores, ranging from clothing to alarm clocks to breakfast cereal. Some parents, however, are not pleased with the new fad, whining about animal cruelty and underground Pokemon fights and crap like that. Whatever. All that matters is just one thing -- GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!
