[Kobato didn't know what was going on. She had things sorted, she was going to start her journey to collect candy of people she helped in healing them. Now she wondered what on earth happened. It even took her a moment or two to even realize a certain stuffed dog wasn't anywhere insight. Well. That isn't good. The device switches on to a yell from a young woman.]

I-Ioryogi-san! [A young woman looked around, rather panicked. She had no idea where they were.]

He's going to be so mad that I left him behind or dropped him.

[Now she slowly started to look worried as her head frantically as if trying to find whoever she was calling out of. She hadn't even realized the device within her grasp was on as she suddenly bolted out of the bay, ignoring the hologram that hadn't even started as she went past. She was more preoccupied in finding her friend if he was around.... because she sure knew what will happen and she really didn't want that.]

No, I don't think he will. Everyone seems to have come to the conclusion that your original life has been postponed. I forget the chain of reasoning that led there, but it's probably sound.

[Kobato was still a little bit worried because she was pretty much on her own in her quest, since her guide and the one who is meant to help her wasn't here.]

Postponed? I'm not sure how exactly ones life can be though.

The specifics elude me too; think of like...pausing a movie to get up and do something else, returning when finished.

Yes; better to live in the present, if you don't mind the triteness of the truism.

As for what "counts"...well, the present is illuminated by the past. Past duties must count for present purposes.

[Considering Kobato doesn't really remember her past and knows she doesn't really have a future if she didn't get her wish back home, she wasn't exactly sure if this really made sense to her at all.]

But doesn't that only make sense if one has a past?

[She shakes her head, it didn't take the young girl long to pick herself back up.]

What, don't you? Unless you were born but today, haha. Well, at any rat you've memories of a past, haven't you? That'll have to do.

[It more complicated than that at least... Well she doesn't exactly know that herself. She just knows she lacks memories and has a wish she needs granting, which she was working on or trying to with her guide. The more she ponder on her thoughts the more confused she seemed.]
