[So, a certain someone had yet to see the network full of other similar reactions before he'd started a video of his own. Honestly, after getting home from a long day practicing with the talent agency and then fixing arcade machines in the day (some may or may not have been hit with a wrench a couple of times), the last thing he needed was something weird happening. Or at least, something weirder than having already been abducted a month ago.]

Okay, whoever got into my apartment and left this egg here? You're not funny. I get it. I'm a bird. Ha ha. You're still not funny. And don't any of you dare joke that I laid an egg. Kashia don't do that.

The stupid joke is bad enough, but at least have the decency to get my name right.

[Except... they did get his name right. It's just not his preferred name.

He happens to glance to the side, his feathers perking up and eyes widening slightly.]

No no no, Quatre, don't play with that! You might break--

[Thud! That's the sound of a big egg hitting the floor thanks to a playful little corgi who thinks it looks like an amazing ball.]

... ooookay, apparently not. The hell kinda egg is this thing? A dragon egg?

Would dragon eggs be unbreakable? I mean they would be fire proof anyway, but smash proof?

No idea, dragons were always talked about like they were some super big deal up until they went extinct. Wouldn't surprise me if they couldn't break.

Somehow, if it was a rock, I wouldn't be surprised. This place is weird.

This place is certainly unusual, I must admit.

But honestly, until I came here I had never met a dragon before and I had been to plenty of worlds.

So in a way they are rare in a lot of places, so what are the odds that they are dragons here?

I dunno. The dragon thing is just a guess on my part. Aside from gryphons, they're the only thing I knew of that hatched from giant eggs. Like I said though, they're super extinct in Celveryia.

[He scratches the back of his head and sighs.]

But I'm sure whatever hatches won't be that big a deal, right? Or is this place not telling me something?

I find something like this is going to lead into something... But as to what I don't know, but it will hatch and we will find out what is inside.

[There's a loud "eek" when Colette sees the egg fall.]

Oh no! Is it okay?

Uhh, gimme a sec.

[He sets the device down to pick up the egg and dust it off. He looks it over and, looking perplexed, looks back at the video.]

Not a scratch on it.

[Her relief is clearly visible.]

Oh thank goodness!

[Wait a minute. Forget the egg. Is that...?]

Is that a doggie?!

Hm? Oh- you mean Quatre?

[He whistles for the dog, who barks and with its tiny tiny legs, makes the jump onto Mobius' lap so Colette gets a video full of happy corgi face.]

Yep, this is my buddy Quatre. He came here with me, weirdly enough.

[Colette squeals with delight.]

Oh, he's such a cutie! What a happy puppy! Such a good boy!

[She coos at him a moment longer before blushing embarrassedly at Mobius; she forgot he was there for a second.]

Do most people not come with their pets?

[Chiaki had been playing video games, she hadn't even reacted much to sudden case of an egg in her bed. Instead she had placed it in a blanket and made sure it could stay up.

It was currently sitting up next to her as if it was watching her play the video game.]

I don't think it's a good joke either. I mean in other countries adults would tell kids that babies came from eggs that storks bring.

... seriously? That's a story people tell? [Have a weird look of disbelief.] I would think storks have got better things to do. And come on, man, kids aren't dumb.

[That's as ridiculous as parents telling their kid that they were totally playing Twister.]

Some kids might believe it, but I never understood. I mean a baby would be heavier than a stork... I think.

[It was a weird thing to tell them never the less.]

[Kobato appears on the feed. She appears to look a little bit confused. The reason why will become obvious in 3...2...1.]

But you don't look like a bird, so why would someone do a prank like that?

I'm part of an avian race, actually. [His ear feathers twitch and he lightly tugs on one of the blue feathers.] These aren't cute fashion statements that we wear, they're glued to our head.

Supposedly we had wings at one time too, but that was well over a hundred years ago.

[It was actually more like thousands, but eh. Details. Details that his know-it-all best friend aren't here to correct.]

So basically, the egg thing is a joke in poor taste. And frankly, I should be more offended than I am.

Oh! I didn't know... I wouldn't have guessed either so whoever did the joke would of had to know that, don't you think?
