You know, never expected I would have to play the whole 'look after your egg like it is a baby type deal'

[Which was weird in it's own right. She had done it in school and she had done well, but honestly, she had never seen the point of it all.]

At least... this is what I assumed anyway, no actual basis or proof on that matter, but hey I'm bored so why the heck not. 

[She was tapping her pen lightly for a moment before she moved to tie her hair up into a pony tail. She was focusing on something in front of her.]

Also I was wondering something recently. Do you think those in the bounties get the right punishment for what they do? I mean they go to jail, sure, but do people think that is enough or not?

...That would depend on the severity of what they've done. I've had to punish a few of my clan members for varying levels of trouble that they've caused.

[He's just kind of eyeing the egg in front of him, as if contemplating something far away. He's definitely no stranger to caring for eggs.]

In a good portion of the bounties here they tent to kill people and pretty sure more than one. So sometimes borderline serial killer.

I mean if what they do is less is theft and stuff. Yeah don't punish them in the same way as someone who kills people.

Back home, I normally make it a point to kill anyone or anything that poses a threat to me or my clan...however, rumor has it that death is not permanent in this world. So killing the enemies caught in the bounties may not accomplish anything if that's true...

Yeah, they say that but unless I see such a thing personally or actually experience it, I can't exactly believe word of mouth.

Well, it's that or capital punishment, which some blackguards make a very tempting thing. But death, even for the deserving, is a hard thing to give.

Less lucrative too, for what that's worth.

Depends on the person. There are those who would be more than willing to give someone the death penalty. I would for those who really deserve it.

Dave said that maybe the eggs would hatch into dragons.

Dragons would actually be cool, but really hard to take care of. Also would require a lot of fire extinguishers.

We have a few of them in my world and not all of them spit fire. But they would certainly require high maintenance.

Not all fire? Then what do those dragons do?

[k2so]

Depends on the species. Arkanian dragons do breath fire but others like Condor and Krayt don't do that, they just claw at you and try to eat you. Other dragons can throw venom or spines, adsorb your life force...some live inside stars.

Wow, so many different kinds of dragons.

Most we get here is the usual...story of fire breathing ones.

It's a big Galaxy, they're form different planets.

Pretty much. They are a thing of fantasy.

And would you like to see one? Because one could hatch from those eggs.

I could also just go to Fayren. I mean it's rare to see one, but still apparently they exist.

But yes they could also hatch from the egg, who knows really.

I didn't know that. I really need to visit Fayren again, I only went there one or twice.

Cassian is not exactly thrilled about the idea.

I've only been there once. Exploring reasons, checking the place out and seeing what it was like.

Might go back there someday though. Just need a good reason.

Maybe we could visit it together one day, it could save us both from getting bored.

It could. I mean all I do is work and occasionally watch a movie. Which will probably get boring quickly.

Genessia hospital. Work as an assistant because I was still in medical school back home. So can't become a full time doctor.

Oh true, you told me about that when we first talked. Now I remember.

You could learn how to become a doctor here, perhaps?

There's no medicals schools that I am aware of and I have checked, so while I can study I would never get my degree.

None at all? That's a huge flaw, someone should fix that.

I think being in a new area would null the one I already was working for. So I would probably have to start again. But I still study regardless.

Not sure how to fix it though.

I thought humans were able to learn multiple careers at once. Is not having more knowledge in general a good thing?

Perhaps if someoen talked to the doctors in the cities about the need of a proper school that could change.

Where I'm from you could get a medical degree in one county but sadly you'd have to learn over to practice in another.

I don't exactly get it, or what the difference is, but it's a thing.

Odd. You can save a live in a country but you aren't allowed to do so in a different one? Seems counter-productive for the species well being.

There are some medical practices common all around the galaxy where I come from.

You know more about it than I do, I just think it would have more impact if the request came from someone who actually knows some medicine. But you are under no obligation to do it, of course.

Well technically you can save a life in any country you just cannot work in that country on a full time basis. I guess like only in emergencies and your the only one who can type deal.

We'll see what happens, they might brush it off because I'm just an assistant though.

I supposed those laws are meant to protect people in some way too, silly as they sound.

It's a possibility like back in school you got a good grade when you managed to not break it. So maybe if we take good care of it then something good will happen.

Or something bad, but hey, how will we know unless we try.

[And she is bored when not at work and not when she is in Everglade.]

[ That's more something that's done in fiction than reality, after all.. plus she's been going to school for food. ]

Eh, it was rare but better than using robot babies. Those can be freaky.
