[ When the video feed cuts on, Konoka is looking... mildly confused. She's just gotten up, which seems a little late for her given that the sun is out instead of merely poking at the sky, but it was fine for her. She has the video in one hand, and a particularly large egg in the other. This wasn't unique from all the other reports of people waking up with eggs.

No, the unique part for her is the timing. ]

This has to be the most unusual birthday gift ever. Or a prank. I'm pretty sure I actually remember last night, so neither Mariko nor I got drunk, so...

How'd this even get here? Is this the work of that Easter Bunny? He's kinda early if you ask me...

[ Ayame snaps her fingers, moving her gift box she left on the living area couch to the spare chair by the dining table, all while the wine bottle levitates and pours some wine on Ayame's glass ]

Open it. Happy birthday.

[ The box is neatly wrapped in paper, with a velvet ribbon tied in a bow that Konoka could use too. Inside is a plain beige box containing a properly folded double-breasted pleated flare coat ]

[ Konoka takes her sweet time opening it, being meticulous with the ribbon since it looked reusable, and otherwise only applying force when necessary. As she opened it, she blinked as she saw a rather impressive coat! ]

Whoaaaa... this is amazing!

[ If she weren't about to eat dinner, she would have tried it on right away. She was also certain that Ayame made it herself, which made it even more impressive. ]

[ Ayame was taking a sip of wine when Konoka expressed her gratitude, so Ayame could only raise her glass afterwards before she could speak ]

[ Even if Konoka hadn't had the chance to eat yet, Ayame was curious on how accurate her guess of Konoka's sizes were. Ayame may have a photographic memory, but she still wanted to make sure and see her creation on it's intended user ]

[ Well, dinner wasn't being served yet, so maybe she could sneak trying it on. She wasn't wearing any particularly heavy shirt, so this jacket should fit, right?

She did try it on, finding it easy to slip into and button. It was actually a hair tight, but it still worked very well overall. She figured she better not gain too much weight! ]

I suppose they would, wouldn't they?

[ Her hand was on her cheek as she showed off the jacket on her body. The question was then, 'would she notice the boys?' ]
