I have to say, I was not expecting that egg to hatch, but I do so love pleasant surprises!

[Someone seems to have taken quite a liking to this little curveball that this world has thrown at her. She pans the video over to show off her darling Pokémon collection; currently a Chingling, Fomantis...and a Bulbasaur.]

Aren't they precious? Especially Hibiki. The bell one. Mei, the mantis one, also came from my egg.

[A pause.]

I found the other one earlier today. Now, from what I understand, you're supposed to battle with these creatures, yes? Caring for them seems to be easy enough.

[She's going to need a bigger place if this keeps up, honestly. Between the rabbit Koishi gave her, a rabbit she picked up herself, and now three Pokémon, her apartment is beginning to get crowded.]

I'd like to see all of your Pokémon as well.

[A young girl appears on the screen. She seems happy to show off her pokemon.]

"Hello. Here are my Pokemon. This is Sylveon."

[She pans the camera over to her first pokemon.]

"And this is Cutiefly, the first I found from that egg. And finally, this is Treecko. I found it hiding under my bed."

"I haven't found any, but according to the network, there are plenty running around."

[Maybe she should go collecting to.]

"Where they came from, and why. Perhaps they were pulled in the same way we were... But they may be here temporarily, like last time..."

[A brief moment to think...]

"Maybe Pokémon are the key to leaving this world."

[She doesn't have high hopes of leaving now, but it's worth a thought.]

"Yes, about a year ago. I woke up up with Pokeball housing a blue creature called Totodile. After a few weeks, they disappeared, and only my Sylveon was left."

All of them?

...at once?

That's probably easier. This is one of the ones that was in the egg, as is my understanding.

[Yep, that picture is Onix, being... well, a lot larger than she is.]

It seems like only a select few do, which is good. I'm more surprised it even fit in the egg.

Maybe someone out there knows more about it in terms of biology... I'll ask around at some point.

I'll have to ask some of them for more information.

Yes, their loveliness is irrefutable. As for battling well...yes! For most of them, I assume. There may be some that abhor violence, but I've yet to meet any.

All of them? Ask, and ye shall receive!

[Without further ado, he pops them out of their balls for a trip down the virtual runway.

First is Cacturne, the sleepy cactus. Like one might expect of a Grass type, he's very sedentary, with glowing, yellow eyes half-closed in slumber.

Next is Vileplume, whose flower is too heavy to properly carry. Nonetheless, it bears it with grace and a light, faint smile, simply happy to be outside. Cactuar, a gentlemanly sort, stirs to activity and offers a limb to assist. Ted sneezes from the excess pollen.

Then there'sTrevenant, a fearsome-looking trees with roots like spider's legs. Amicable and gay, he waves happily at the stranger across the network.

Gengar emerges from Ted's shadow a moment before he's called, eager to show off and misbehave in even mild ways. A ghostly chuckle follows.

Last and latest is Woobat, a flitting ball of white fluff who's overjoyed to be part of the team, let alone being introduced to wonderful new strangers over equally wondrous devices. It flaps over to the phone and plants a sucking kiss with its heart-shaped nose. It had the distinction of being the first among the menagerie to appear less than sinister.

Ted is trying to wrangle the all-too-foreseeable chaos of letting out all five at once. He'll be a minute.]
