"Well, this isn't the first time I woke up in a strange place..."

[Intrigue and confusion were on the Jedi's mind as he emerged from the Bay. The presence of other beings like himself momentarily convinced him he was on a Republic colonial world, but he knows better. Rifling through the little box, he read through the brochures, which gave him that one disturbing flashback when he was Hondo's "esteemed guest" for a time. But he got the idea. He was in a whole other universe entirely? It seemed difficult to believe, with thousands of worlds and as many civilizations and more, it's not out entirely out of the realm of possibility.

Obi-wan pocketed the amulet, currency and the phone, after reading they were important and discarded the brochures and box in the trash. He decided to go on a stroll around the city, tapping his personal comm to send a distress signal to any nearby Republic forces. While he waits for a response, he brought the phone back out.]

[The face of a kindly gentleman appears, with a charming smile to emphasize a friendly approach.]

"Greetings. I'm Obi-wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight and General of the Army of the Republic. Could anyone be so kind as to tell me about this system and the people here?"

[Well, here's an unfriendly face and it's probably lucky that it's over the network and not yet in person.]

Kenobi. What are you doing here?

[He sounds quite affronted to see the Jedi.]

[Does he even have any other face?]

"Grievous. Clearly being in the same predicament as you."

[Despite seeing the face of one of his long-time enemies, Obi-wan was going to be cordial with him since there's no reason to behave otherwise.]

[There's one under that mask but you don't want to see that. Either way, unfriendly.]

No. Your presence here only brings bad omens and trouble. The Jedi always bring trouble.

[And just as he was settling in...]

"Perhaps if you and the Separatists did not invade neutral worlds and subject its population to slavery, then the Jedi wouldn't have to 'bring trouble' leading Republic forces to free them."

You are one to talk about such things as slavery.

[He was clearly getting more angry and aggravated now. While Obi-Wan hadn't actually been involved, Grievous has a personal grudge against the Jedi who had aided the race of beings who had enslaved his own people. It's where the roots of his problems with the Jedi began. Dooku and Sidious had cultivated that and enhanced his anger toward the Jedi by tampering with his mind during the operations to make the warrior Kaleesh warrior a cyborg - unknown to the General himself.]

Does the Republic not make more and more slaves for their clone armies? Not to mention the worlds your kind help to destroy with a second thought.

[From a certain point of view.]

"The clones in service have the right to choose their next path in life when their service has ended. We have no intention on keeping them as tools for war any longer than they are needed."

[He doesn't deny the clones are programmed for war, but he takes solace in the fact that, unlike droids, the clones are able to think for themselves, and thus, are capable of being more than soldiers.]

But in the meantime they are tools for war, just as much as my droids. Both are easily dispensable and your clones are subject to your orders.

"At least I treat the clones under my command with respect and civility."

So you say.

I advise you, Jedi. Stay out of my way.

[Unintentional rhyming.]

"I wouldn't even dare. Likewise, behave yourself, General."

[He chokes on his anger, causing coughing.]

[Okay, he'll wait until he's done coughing.

...and a moment longer for good measure.]

"No, of course not. But, all the same."

[There's a glare, followed by an extra warning.]

Stay out of Nova City.

"Whatever you say, General."

[He'll appease the Separatist general for now while he learns about this planet, but he has no intention on doing it a second time.]

[He makes a gruff sound of annoyance and cuts off the feed mid-cough.]

Jedi, huh? Seems like a lot of people from your universe were brought to this place lately.[One has to wonder why.

She offers a polite smile.] But welcome to Genessia all the same, Mister Kenobi.

"Thank you, my good lady. You say others from my neck of the galaxy are in the same position as Grevious and I?"

I have good reasons to believe so, yes. At least, two more people I would say.

But unfortunately, it doesn't necessarily mean you are acquaintances, I'm afraid, for time and space are such fickle things.

[The view that greets Obi-Wan is kind of a curious one. There's an Imperial KX series droid in the screen but the symbol on his shoulder it's not the one of the Empire but the orange Starbird. None of these things might be familiar to him just yet, however.]

After being here for months I should be used to weird things like this happening and yet....[K-2SO tilts his head.] Greetings, Jedi Knight Obi-wan Kenobi. I've heard about you before. I'm K-2So, but Kaytoo is just fine.

"Jedi..."

[He's only heard that term once. From Grievous, of all...people.]

Well, I can tell you I haven't heard of any 'Army of the Republic' being here.

[That is certainly no Zilo beast.]

"...Yes... And who might you be? If you don't mind my asking."
