Video [Cat in the Big City]
[Once again, the comms are graced by the lovely Khloe Zhwan, and as always looking looking annoyed and as if she swallowed a bug. But enough about her looks, she seems to have something to say. This time around, less screaming and swearing. Maybe.
She struggles to find the words, her lips and brow crumpling into various forms of upset, while her eats simply twitched up an down.]
Right, so....mmmm....[She holds up her money to the feed, the stack looking a wee bit thinner.]...These things. It's money 'n...I need more of it. But I think I be understanding that, a good number of folks 'round 'ere sort of.....frown on givin' shite-eatin' scrags what they deserve. So, me question is....where can someone like me, get more of this [She shakes the wad of cash.] without steppin' on one's toes.
[So a job.]

[Voice]
You could do bounty hunting? Or maybe see if anyone wants security?
Re: [Voice]
[She figured people who have a bounty sorta did something to deserve it but it's a lot of situational things, and she's just patient enough to deal with that.]
Security...I think I could do that. It shouldn't be to 'ard to do. Stand 'round and look intimidating, shove a few scrags and sods away...but it sounds like it'd be borin' too.
[Her head is starting to hurt a little. Thinking isn't her strong suit.]
Still getting tempted. What patch is she from?..Just in case oops WoL is a maybe
[Because curious vampire child.]
Depends! Sometimes you might get a lot of things to deal with but it won't go against your code. Sometimes it might be quiet. Never know?
Lol heaven's ward was just about to start for the WoL
[How does she explain the dark knight code without mentioning it as the dark knight code???]
I can 'andle meself in a fist fight perfectly fine. If I can take down some drunkin' roegadyn with me bare 'ands, I think I can take on most folk.
[Given how short she is, it's a miracle she didn't get stepped on.]
video;
[He gets that it's not for everyone, certainly. But since she seems okay with kicking the crap out of people, he'll go and drop some other ideas that might be relevant to her intersts.]
Otherwise, there's the good ol' bounty route by checking the newspaper or the bounty boards in the cities. I think some creepy robot guy mentioned a security squad on the network recently too.
[Video]
I do 'ave a question 'bout your first proposition.
[A beat.]
What'd ye mean by "club environment"? Do I need to get meself a club n' hit folks with it or summin'?
[Video]
I think we're just kind of an unofficial branch of the cops at this point, but fair enough.
[But that question... that just brings a smile and a laugh from Gale. He shakes his head, waving his hand side to side.]
Nooo, not exactly. I don't mean weapon clubs, I mean hangout clubs. Booze, music, socializing, that kinda place.
I mean... not that I would stop one of my employees from usin' a club weapon if they gotta.
Re: [Video]
"Hangout Clubs"????
[A beat.]
Are ye talkin' 'bout a tavern???
[Video]
Kind of an old timey way to put it, but yeah. Just with less lyres, harps and weird bards making awful rhymes.
I mean, there's a drunk guy singing along with the music once in a while, but they're not exactly poetic.
Re: [Video]
[Video]
Yup, I've always got my eye out for that. Mostly depends if you'd be willing to work in Genessia City or Nova City.
[Or if she's fine with a uniform requirement for one of them, but he'll only go into detail if she asks.]
Re: [Video]
[If any of that made sense to him, she'd be amazed.]
Though, I reckin' ye'd be compensatin' me with this paper, aye?
[She still doesn't understand what's wrong with having gold coins.]
So what'd be the name of this "club" I'll be guardin'?
video;
[She taps her finger lightly on her chin.]
I mean you got your bounty hunters and such so I guess they don't like rogues or something.
video;
[She misses home. Cleave a pirate or a slave trader in two and no one bats an eye.]
'N bounty huntin' is off the table for me. Too much soddin' trouble.
video;
Re: video;
Ye' gots to register too??? Bloody 'ells! Ye' might as well just register as'n adventurer!
[Which she has technically done in her world.]
Seven 'ells. Now I really don't want to do it.
[As for why it's almost off limits to her, she'll just choose to ignore that question.]
video;
[She shrugs.]
Everywhere else they do what they want. But that ain't my business, so I can't really say much else.
Re: video;
[And she just can't be bothered with paperwork.]
Aye, no. I'll be 'voidin' the bounty huntin' all together. I'll leave it for the scrags.
video;
[Which probably wasn't the case.]
Re: video;
[They're not all hobos. Some may have started out as that but then they became worse.]
Not that I'm callin' bounty hunter's bad folk, just....well, I suppose it depends.
[She's just not one of them....-ish.]
video;
But hell if I know. It's not my cup of tea. I'm sticking to what I do best.
Re: video;
[And that is essentially Dark Knight stuff. Situational, personal, and highly emotional. Also out right murder.]
'nyroads. Do ye 'ave a reason fer gettin' me to prattle on, dove? Or are ye just lookin' fer somethin' to keep ye occupied?
[Like maybe a job offer.]
video;
[Since fighting ain't her cup of tea unless it's needed here, she ain't going anything.]
Though there are places that do the whole security type job if that is ever up your alley?
Re: video;
[A beat.]
Well, 'cept maybe a few cases.
video;
[Not that she was 100% sure, she doesn't know what people do in a couple of the cities because she had no reason to go there.]
