"Hello, Liora."

[Liora's heart freezes as she hears the voice of the one dragon who terrifies her more than anything.]

"Erebus...?"

"Can you feel it, Liora? The darkness closing in on you?"

[Erebus begins walking slowly towards her, while Liora moves backwards to keep her distance from him.]

"N-No..."

[But she would feel it soon enough. She keeps backing away from him until she bumps into a wall. She glances around, seeing nothing but blackness around her. Meanwhile, Erebus moves ever closer. Liora tries to move in any direction, but she could not, as if this invisible black wall was closing in on her, suffocating her in the darkness.]

"Do you feel it now?" [Erebus taunts her.]

[Liora still cringes, pressing herself against the wall.] "Why...? Why are you doing this...?"

"It is only natural..." [Erebus lowers himself, positioning his face mere inches from hers.] "Because I...am...DARKNESS!!"

[Liora springs awake, gasping for breath, as if to recover from the suffocation she had suffered in her dream. While it's nighttime, at least she's able to see the faint light from the moon and stars. She feels the comfort of the web bed that she's made at the top of a tree. For a moment, she looks around frantically, trying to remember where she is. Then she notices her device lying next to her, currently broadcasting. Then she remembers that she's still in Fayren. She picks up the device and stares into it with a relieved sigh.]

It's just a dream...I hope I didn't wake anyone...

[It's certainly a good thing that she didn't wake with a full scream. She sort of wishes she could talk to someone, but really doesn't want to wake anyone.]

...Is anyone awake...?

Yo, I'm awake, but mostly because I work late into the night sometimes.

[She is always surprised when she can because then she still carries on without much sleep.]

[Suddenly she doesn't know what to say to a complete stranger.]

...Are you still working? I wouldn't want to interrupt your work...

No, just finish for the night.

[If she was still working, she probably wouldn't have responded for reasons.]

It's why this doesn't bother me.

[Kobato yawned slightly as she switched the feed on. Sure, she had been woken, but it did sound like someone wasn't overly happy and Kobato felt like she had to at least try and be helpful somehow.]

Did something upset you, miss?

[Oh dear. This person definitely looks like she was woken.]

I just...had a dream is all. But I'm fine...

[Although the nervous voice and facial expression indicate that her dream is bothering her a lot.]

A scary dream?

[Given the voice and such she could at least assume that much.]

Um...yes. It was about...a dark dragon in my world...

A dark dragon?

[She had no idea what they were on about.]

Yes...his name is Erebus. Although he's from the Shadow flight, he wields a power that's even darker than the shadows...and he wants to engulf the entire world in that darkness...

That sounds awful.

[Not that she can really understand how bad it could be.]

Why would someone want to do that?

I...don't know. There is something called the Shade in my world...which look like black tendrils that can corrupt anything. Erebus's power was very similar...but I don't know if he's using it willingly, or if it's using him as a vassal...

I kind of hope it's the latter, mostly because then it's not really that persons fault for doing bad things.

What's shakin? [he laughs for a moment before being a little more serious.]

In all serious, what brings up to talking to the device in the middle of the night? Something bothering you, do you want to go somewhere but can't alone?

I...I just had a dream. But...I can wait until morning if you want...

[Even if it's unlikely that she'll be able to get back to sleep.]

So nightmare then? bad dream using another term?

[he would know too well about them. There had been a reason he use to sleep facing down.]

Just remember that it was a dream. Unless you can see thew future in dreams like a Dreamseer they won't come true.

...If only it were that simple. The dream I had...it was about an enemy in my world. I can't really see that future like that...but that nightmare may very well come true if I don't stop him...

Unless he's here that dream won't come true. Time back home as people say is frozen, so nothing can happen while you are here.

I...I still find that hard to believe. Either way, I just can't get him off my mind. He...he terrifies me so much...

And yet if people turn up from your world they might come from the last thing you remember, further ahead than you or even earlier with no recollection of you ever leaving.

But I can understand someone terrifying you. I understand that a lot.

[Ted works evenings, so yup, wide awake. This makes the fourth time he's heard a broadcast of this kind, so he can guess why.]

"Bad dream, I take it?"

[Might as well cut to the chase]

Um...yes...it was about Erebus...

"Oh, I see. I'm sorry."

[Liora had never told him about it, but he's read enough of her other posts to get the gist. Big evil darkness dragon, soundly thrashed her friends, and drove her into some horrible mission where if she isn't potent enough...

Well, let's just say he's glad she's away from all that. Or would be if her problems weren't eternally mentally present with her anyway.]

"Is there something you'd like off your chest? I'll listen."
