[ The video feed turns on after a few minutes, but it's not because Akane wanted it to. No, it turns on purely by accident, because she knocked it off the counter. So congrats Genessia, you get the view of Akane standing in the kitchen with a large knife in a hand. And BOY is she STEAMING. ]

WHY isn't it THAWED yet?

[ "It" being the ham she'd bought. She froze it a few days ago on a setting a wee bit higher than it needed to be and... yeah. It didn't end well. ]

Maybe it needs to be in smaller pieces...

[ ... Cue pure chaos as Akane proceeds to attack the ham like it personally offended her, completely with furious yells. In the end she manages to break the ham (and the bone) into smaller cube pieces, but she manages to chop the cutting board right up into it too. She doesn't notice, scooping the entire concoction into a casserole dish, adding soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup and onion powder into the mix. She's... just so peeved about SOMETHING she isn't paying any attention to what she's throwing in it. Was that a baseball? In any case she throws the casserole in the oven, turns it on (way too high) and THEN notices the feed is on. ]

Oops... was this recording the whole time?

[ ONOES HER SECRET RECIPE IS OUT. ]

[The sound of a small black pig trots into the kitchen. ~~Oh no, Akane is cooking!~~]

[ And Akane looks up, suddenly smiling. Setting the video device aside, she trotted over to scoop up the piggy. ]

Want to help with the cooking? I still have to make a side dish. ~~Get in the pot.~~

[ Oh P-chan let's ever keep that hope alive. She hugs her 'pet' happily, carrying him over to the recipe book. ]

Okay, what do you think we should have as a side dish then? [ Yes, we. Yes you're going to have some too. ...are you SUUUUUUUURE you want to stick around? ]

[Ryoga hopped from her arm near a cook book, causing it to fall over and open to the page of a side dish recipe: nasu dengaku, hmmmm grilled eggplant with sweet miso sauce sounds good huh?]

[ What's that, pork cutlet? How bold of you P-chan! ]

Careful sweetie~! [ Akane kneels though, to pick up the recipe book and peer at the page it landed open on. ]

Oh .. oh wow, this looks really interesting. I've never had that before... okay this should be really easy~!

[Kairi actually looks a bit concerned. She isn't going to be eating that later but still, she felt like she should probably say something.]

I believe that you threw something that wasn't edible into your mixture before you put it in the oven.

[ Something that wasn't edible? She checked the recipe. ]

Let's see.. ham, potatoes, onion... everything in here is edible. It's fine; I don't see anything in the recipe that'd be a problem.

It's not the recipe I think you should check. try the pot instead.

The pot? [ She turns away to open the oven door. Hrm. Ham, onions, potat...okay that's a really big potato. Ah. Mutated she guesses. Awfully -round- for a potatoe though. She shrugs, closing the oven doof. ]

Mmm, looks fine to me~!

[ ...not that she'd admit it if it wasn't.. ]

[She sighs slightly. She'll probably figure it out later so she won't try again at least.]

That's... good at least. I hope it will turn out well then.

[And Minako thought her cooking was bad.]

It was on from the moment you chopped up that ham and possibly the board. But will you let me know how it turns out. I'm curious and I want to see if it's good.

What kind of work are you looking for?

You mean he went back home? [She is oddly use to that in the world before this one, except she doesn't know how they leave here whereas the other place she knew by now dragons did it.]

I guess anything that isn't too complicated and doesn't need a whole lot of thinking.
