[Kobato had finally managed to get a job. Sure it didn't give her much money to survive on rent wise, but it was a start of maybe helping others with it. At least that was her thought process.

Now all she had been told to was was when things were scanned for the customer all she had to do was simply put said item in the bag. However it wasn't so easy.

Kobato the first time somehow managed to ripped the bag, another time managed to drop an item, causing it to break. It just seemed unlucky and to some other poor customer something else might happen and each and everytime, Kobato would turn to them and bow quickly.]

I'm so sorry, I will make it up to you.

[Kobato when not working appeared to be exploring around, running over to give some homeless person her money and on occasion could potentially be found laying on various benches.

On one occassion she even appeared to be talking to herself.]

I, Kobato Hanato will do my best today. I will help at least one person.

[With a determined node she looked over, going to find that person to help.]

It's all right, I'm in no rush. [The food he is getting is for his pets and they can wait another hour.] Your first day...?

No, this would be my third day.

[Which sounds really odd, are you only meant to make mistakes on ones first day?]

Ah, I see. The first weeks of an adaptation period seem to be the hardest.

[Three days is not much, Kay knows people who after 3 years still screw up doing certain tasks.]

Are you too young to work, though?

[She shakes her head slightly, although honestly... did she even know how old she actually was? That was a question she can only ask herself.]

People back home let me work, so I don't think so.

[Kay can't frown but he tilts his head in a manner that more-or-less conveys it.]

How old are you? And what do you do back home?

I'm at least old enough that people let me work.

[That's exactly the most helpful answer.]

Also I was meant to be helping out at a kindergarden.

I find that answer vague and misleading.

[Kay's a droid, they like precision. But he won't press the issue.]

Ah, yes I remember. There was no job like that available, I take it?

[Mostly because no one really asked for her age usually so she assume working at this age was perfectly fine.]

No, the only one was looking after the kids at the home. But those kids seem to be fine by themselves, they don't need my help.

[Kay gives up. He knows ages are relative, anyway, he's twelve himself.]

No they were other peoples children. I just looked after them at kindergarden.
