[Action - Genessia]
[...this was not something Vellsha could ever have expected. At first, she'd just thought that 'hey, maybe it's just a dream!', but it quickly became clear that no, this was reality. Then the stress settled in. And of course, with the stress came her curse. So she found herself stumbling and swaying through this strange, unfamiliar city. There were some elements of the architecture that reminded her of Tiriliastar, but this was so much more...advanced? She wasn't able to think too much about it. Or focus on it anyway.]
Ugh...I don't even know where I'm going...
[She mumbled both to herself and the crimson scarf that adorned her neck. The young mage was sweating, and her vision kept blurring. Clearly, she had a fever. And her scarf decided to remind her as such.]
...you really think I don't know that already? [Still, she knew that shelter should be her first priority. There'd been something about a temporary shelter she could go to, but...well, trying to concentrate on reading didn't go over well, and that pamphlet was pretty much ruined.]
Well, just...warn me before I walk into something, 'kay?
[She asked. Something simple, courteous even. That didn't mean Aki would listen to her, though. And of course, they're going the complete opposite way from the commonspace.]

She goes about her patrol, eyes and ears sharp as the blade on her back, and that's when she spots Vellsha. She was behaving a little strange to Khloe, the scarf around her neck making it a little hard for her to get a good look from a distance. She knows she sticks out like a sore thumb in her armor so she was hesitant to get to close, but when she does get a good look at her, she's shocked.
No wonder she's behaving weird, she's sick. Her skin looking a little flushed to her and sweat that's subtly shimmering in the light told the knight all she needed to know. Screw subtlety, the girl needs medical aid. She puts a spring into her step and rushes to Vel's side and puts an arm on her shoulder.]
Oy, what in the seven 'ells do ye think yer doing, dove? Why are you walkin' 'round with a bloody fever?
no subject
She manages to force a smile, letting out a nervous laugh.]
I'm...looking for the commonspace. Shelter. [Something like that.]
Heh. Nice day for a walk, too.
no subject
[She shakes her head and sighs.]
Listen, love, if ye thing ye can fool a Limsan with that bollocks then ye best just start tellin' the truth. 'N yer goin' the wrong way!
[She takes a look around, trying to look for someone who could be her guardian or friend, since she seemed to be talking to someone earlier, but the way her brow furrows and her lips fold into a frown her search yielded nothing.]
Ah, bugger. Doesn't look like anyone 'ere knows ye, so I'm guessin' ye be a new 'ere?
no subject
...huh? What's a Limsan? [She gives the woman another glance. It definitely looks like she's alone.]
Aren't...you just one of the catfolk? [There's a pause, like she's thinking about something really hard. But it passes.]
Y-yeah, something like that. I dunno if I'm cut out for the waking up in strange places thing.
no subject
Aye, well, this was a first me too, love.
[The waking up in another dimension she means. Not the waking up in a strange place. She's been drunk too many times to be surprised by that.]
Alright, best we start our dew beaters in the right direction b'fore ye decide to nap 'ere. 'nd since I'm not 'bout to let yer feet do the walkin'....
[With that, Khloe lifted Vel up in a princess carry. Despite her height being on 5"11 and slim figure, she carries her with no troubles what-so-ever. Also she seems incredibly determined to carry her to the commonspace or a doctor. Whichever she finds first.]
no subject
Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one.
[Vellsha wouldn't know. She steers clear of alcohol, as she gets sick enough without it. Sadly, she doesn't understand near half of what Khloe's trying to say, although she suspects the lingo is from a place like Sin Cove...not that she's been there.]
S-slow down a bit...! [She squirms a bit as she's picked up so suddenly, but she doesn't really struggle all that much. She's well aware that the woman's trying to help her. Vel just doesn't want to end up puking on her.]
no subject
If ye need anythin', let me know. This walk won't take that long though.
[She hopes. After a few minutes of walking carefully and slowly, also much glaring at anyone who saw her and looked at them funny from Khloe's part, they're almost half way to the spaces.]
Almost there, dove. How ye doing? Bene?
no subject
SurprisinglyThankfully, Vel's doing pretty good at keeping the contents of her stomach down. She's just really warm. And a bit dizzy in the head.]Sure.
[As long as Khloe keeps it nice and slow, it wouldn't be too bad. Vel isn't that heavy, and she's actually still kind of surprised how easily she'd being carried. She even takes a moment to weakly wave at the people who're gawking at them as they pass. Which probably isn't helping.]
I'm...still alive? I think.
no subject
[And Khloe is still not covered in puke. So all is good.]
We're almost there, love. Just a wee bit more.
[She says that, but she swears if she encounters another flight of stairs that she has to find a way around, she will destroy a building to get to the commonspace.]
no subject
[Yeah, she's finally questioning the lingo. Is it some hip thing someone her age should know or something?]
Whew...good. I need a nap. [There's a pause, like she's listening to someone.]
And a hot bath.
no subject
[She remembers when she was still new to the lingo too. Ah memories.]
Ah, 'ere we are.
[She reaches the commonspace, quickly kicking the door open and wondering inside.]
Alright. Let's go find ye a bed.
[She says find but it doesn't take her long. She ducks into the first vacant room and gently places Vel on the bed.]
That wasn't too bad now, was it?
[Yay, she solved a problem without killing the problem. Yay.]
no subject
[Cool, so she knows another word that means 'good'! Provided she can remember it, anyway. She gives a half-hearted 'whee' as Khloe carries her through the building to the nearest vacancy.]
Nah...could've been worse. [And Vel didn't puke on anyone. This is clearly a win for both of them.]
no subject
[Oh look more terms she won't understand. Joy.]
So, what should I do first?
[Clearly she's not done taking care of you just yet.]
no subject
...what do you mean? I just need some rest.
no subject
[She takes off her gauntlet and places a hand on Vel's forehead.]
Mmmm. Perhaps something to cool ye off would 'elp. I'll be right back, love.
[She leaves for few minutes, quietly returning later with a glass of water which she places on the night stand beside the bed.]
'ere we are. Take a sip whenever ye like.
no subject
[She pauses for a moment. She's telling the truth. It'll pass. It always does.]
...really. [But her Catfolk helper seems to have other plans, apparently. Vel can't help but let out a cross between a short laugh and a sigh. She's grateful for the water, though. Fluids help. She takes a sip before speaking.]
Thanks.
no subject
[She smiles. She's happy to help the sick.]
Ye just focus on gettin' better.
[She reaches out and gives her a gentle pet before she lightly fluffs her pillow and tucks her in.]
If ye need 'nything, don't be 'fraid to ask. I'll be skulkin' 'round these parts a few.
no subject
Sure. [She gives the woman a smile as she's tucked in to bed.]
...thanks again.
