There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

GCBL Tragedy


Chester Owens, star pitcher of the United Droids baseball team was found dead in his home just days before the United Droids was set to take on the Blue Legends in the second round of the GCBL Tournament. Without their pitcher, the United Droids fought a losing battle against the Blue Legends. It was obvious from the beginning that the match just wasn’t going to go their way.

It was a shutout victory with the Blue Legends advancing to the Semi-Finals of the tournament to take on the Exalted Raptors. Speaking to members of both teams, non were particularly happy with the loss or the victory. An investigation into the death of Chester Owens is ongoing.




Supernatural Disagreement


A disagreement between two supernatural groups appears to have led to several deaths. One group, pure blood vampires who go by the name Darkvale have been having a disagreement with a group of zombies who go by the name Hollowed Union. The vampires believe that among the supernatural beings in Everglade, the vampires are at the top of the food chain.

Hollowed Union believes that Darkvale are being arrogant in thinking such a thing and public disagreement between the factions have been seen. A fight between two members of the factions broke out and ended with the two killing each other. The leaders haven't been reached for comments on the matter.

This incident has sparked conversation in the office and lead to us conducting a small survey with non-humans to better understand their lives and experiences. We have included a few here. We will be attaching the survey to the paper as well so that any other non-humans can take it and submit it. We will publish them all in the next paper.

Death At The Zoo - At the Genessia City Zoo, a man was brought in after hours and put inside the Lion cage where he was killed. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can investigate and find the culprit.

Nova City

Unlicensed Surgeon - A scientist in Nova City has kidnapped and planted devices in several people. The devices will explode within the next few days and kill the people. They will only remove the devices if they are paid money. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can find the culprit and bring them in.

Everglade

Shop Till You Drop - The food at several stands in the market have been poisoned leading to several deaths. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can bring in the culprit.

Fayren

Branded - A mage has branded several power with a special brand that drains the life from anyone that the person get close to and gives it to the mage herself. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can find her and bring her in.

Attleton

Witch Hunt - Three people have been murdered in Attleton by being tied to a stake and set on fire. The reason behind this is unknown, but a level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can find the criminal.

Info: After the tragic events of the third breach, many cities are in recovery mode. The current city guardians made a valiant effort in concert and were able to save and protect many lives, it was still the center of the action. And while everyone's attentions were focused on the upcoming City Guardian Election and protecting each and every one of us, one election went unnoticed- until now.

Former Nova City mayor B'nak Vorcheesy resigned stating that he wanted to spend more time with his family after a life-changing crisis when the catastrophe began and he lost his husband, Mike. Now taking care of their two children alone, this left the mayoral seat open from the start of the catastrophe despite protective leadership from Nova City Guardian Weiss Schnee and her team of deputies. Regardless of low voter turn-out due to the significant distraction, the emergency election for his replacement was held on Friday, June 16th, and the candidate who came out on top is a name many have heard of: Schnee, but not the one we all know as our Guardian. Jacques Schnee is our City Guardian's father. Despite some controversial actions, the man's responsibility and humility won over the most hardcore of voters who showed up despite the ongoing recovery efforts taking priority, making Jacques Schnee the new mayor of Nova City.

"It takes a big man to admit he's wrong, and he raised those Weiss and Whitley kids who have only brought good things here. I know people say he's got an attitude, but I like a guy who stands up for his beliefs!" said local cyborg community leader, Sreypok Gmith.

For better or worse, Nova City is now following the leadership of Mayor Schnee.
