For those who are in Fayren, I am already on my way to help evacuate the people to the safe house that David set up.Even if I am in a dress and high heels.

I am texting to ask if anyone would be willing to help me either patrol and check for people who might still be around after and to also help out keeping an eye on the gate that leads from Genessia to Fayren?

It is most important that people's safety comes first and to make sure everyone is in a safe place as well as to watch the gate. After all we have no Fayren Guardian right now, so we have to step up and work together to over come that.

Because of that, if you volunteer I would like to get to know what you can do, so that we can find the best place for you to be the most effective. If that is okay of course.

I'd like to help. I'm a mage, but I think I can hold my own in a fight if I have to.

What kind of magic can you do? As a mage I ask.

I can use a little time magic, but nothing too fancy. Like, speeding or slowing time in a small area.

I think that could actually be somewhat useful in areas where there are people still needing to be moved. At least.... we can try and see if it can slow the spirits down.

I will be with you also if you want to give it a try.

Sure, I can probably handle that. Where should I go? I'm already in Fayren.

Are you anywhere near the archway?

I can be there in a few minutes at most.

Then I will wait by the gate for you.

This is Shoji. I'm in Genessia right now, but I can make my way to you and help Fayren out.

[ Yukiko's left a pretty good first impression on him, so while he can just run to David's safehouse, Shoji couldn't get himself to just sit this one out. The fact that Fayren has no Guardian has urged him to help Yukiko out more. ]

Even if I'm in a suit and oxfords ;)

[ He adds, mirroring Yukiko's words about being in fancy clothes just to lighten up the situation. ]

Hi Shoji, it's a shame this is how we speak again after the last time.

[She would really appreciate any and all help really.]

Well we can help put in formal wear together, even if it's not the best thing to do so in.

Hah, well at least we get to kick some ass in style. You don't get to do that everyday. 'sides, I still have to ask you for a dance.

[ Luckily, Shoji is a fast texter and can multi-task like no other. He loosens his necktie while he jumps over and leaps across obstacles at superhuman speed and grace, sneaking past the spirits that surround every corner of the city. He takes advantage of backalleys and small passages to make his way to the Fayren gate. Running by the street with the archway in front of him; Shoji looks around, almost frantically, for Yukiko.

He wears his suit a bit differently than most, going with a more semi-formal look. A holographic energy shield is formed over his right arm, ready to protect him from any sudden attacks ]

Yukiko? You around here?

[ Shoji raises his voice, looking around at the looming spirits hovering above the roofs of the buildings on either side of the street he's on. ]

Didn't even know you wanted a dance.

[Never mind that now anyway, Yukiko adjusts her red high heel shoes. She had worn heels now a good few times, but never having run around in them. She was very tempted to just taken them off at this point. On the upside her dress was decent enough for her to move around in.

Looking over she was keeping an eye out, all the while the fan was kept firmly in her grasp. When she spotted the familiar looking face, she waved them over.]

I'm over here.

[ Hearing that voice, Shoji perks into action and jogs towards his friend. Despite the ease in his movements, Shoji is on high alert as he slides towards Yukiko's hiding spot ]

You look nice. Maybe I can ask for that dance after this?

[ He chuckles, opening with a compliment to make light of the situation. ]

So what now? Anyone else comin'?

Oh... thank you. Also if we all make it through this with emotions intact, then I will dance with you.

[She smiled slightly, if only for a moment because now wasn't the right time for that kind of thing. She had to stay on high alert since they were already coming through the archway before they had know that hit them.]

I'm just keeping guard for spirits. There isn't a lot of defense here so of course I have noticed them some through now and again.

[ Shoji nods, taking a quick peek out of their current hiding spot to see the situation going on. There seems to be a lot of them in this particular intersection of the city ]

There's more of these geeks here than any street I've passed through.

[ Shoji clicks his tongue. He hides behind cover again, looking at Yukiko. ]

So what kind of powers do ya have? I'm pretty fast enough for these things so I can maybe lure them away to nearby streets. Give any refugees a better chance of making it to the gate without being attacked.

I use fire based magic, healing based magic and even though I've never used it, I can revive someone. But...can't use that often at all. At best like once every few months or something.

[She had been using fire based to keep therm at bay for the most part.]

Also we have a safe house in Fayren, so we don't need to take them to the gate, which... would be a lot of hassle as people would need us to be with them going through.

Oh, is that why everything is on fire?

[ He can't help but tease, but it was also a question that would help him determine the extent of Yukiko's fire magic capabilities. Or make a wild guess at least ]

Seems to keep them away pretty well, though.

[ Shoji hums, thinking of better ideas other than going with what his gut is telling him to do. ]

Alright, I'll lead and run towards the gate, while you follow me. Let's keep a good distance between us as we make it to the archway. I'll lure them towards me and protect you at the same time, while you blast them with fire. Cool?

[ Shoji still has his shield activated, so he's ready to pop out of cover and start running ]

Eh?! It is!

[She moved to look around, that had panicked her lightly. She was usually careful and only hit what she targets, but after a moment or two she does seem to calm down.]

It does, but it doesn't exactly beat them. But it's the best I can do right now.

[She pauses for a moment, thinking about the plan he was telling her.]

That seems like an okay think, I mean we are trying to keep them at bay from the gate after all.

I'm The Doctor. And don't worry, I can hold my own. I'm in Genessia and I'll be right over.

That's an interesting name. The Doctor. But what can you do to help, if I can ask?

I fight monsters. Trust me. You want my help.

Very well. You are confident so I will accept it as fact.

Though what will you do to help?

Use my magic wand.

I'm by the Fayren archway gate.

[Not too much later a stranger in a long brown coat and holding a strange looking device in one of his hands is standing also in the Fayren archway.]

[Yukiko looked over slightly, she assumed that it was the person she had just spoken to. She went over to him, hands behind her back, fan firmly in her grasp.]

You must be the person I just spoke to, correct.

Yuuppp. I'm The Doctor.

Is there a reason your just called the doctor?

[Because that usually isn't a name someone would always call themselves. A nickname sure, but actual name... that is something else completely.]

But never mind that now, we need to focus on limiting the number of spirits that are coming through.

It's my name. [Stating as if it should be obvious]

Yours?

[There's a head nod and shows her his 'magic wand' which the end point is glowing and seem to do something with his fingers like finding a setting on the 'magic wand' in fact this is a rather metal 'magic wand' as the setting is on 'repel ghost']

When you're ready.

[It was such a strange name for one's parents to give a child. At least to her anyway, or... however that type of thing worked.]

I'm Yukiko Amagi.

[That was... also an interesting wand, to say the least, it did make her more than a little curious. However, her focus, for now, had to be on the archway, so gripping her fan she focused until there was a magical card appearing in front of her. Within seconds she swung around and hit it, summoning what appeared to be a very pink cheerleader behind her. After am moment there was fire aimed towards the spirits that were trying to get close, keeping them away for the time being.]

That won't keep them away for long.

[Ten watches Yukiko prep her fan and the magical card that is then in front of her and then stares a bit what the hell is going on with the cheerleader being behind her. What is she? His focus is quick and back to the incoming spirits and points his 'magic wand' that glows a blue light on the end and makes a strange low pitch sound and creates a somewhat visible shield that the spirits run into and evaporate. ]

[Yukiko glanced over to see what was going on. She had heard the sound and just wanted to see what was happening. She did not see that coming, her expression of surprise was clear on her face.]

That is pretty impressive.

So is yours.

[Ten gives her a slight eye wink from the side and keeps his attention looking for spirits]

Uh, thank you. Though I don't consider it as impressive as other things I've seen.

[she was always keeping an eye out for things. For now, she figured she should really wonder around and keep on guard.]

I should wonder and keep an eye for other spirits. Some have probably gotten through after all.

[There's a firm head nod]

[He's short spoken but he does seem to care about the safety of everyone]
