[It takes a bit of time until a woman appears on the feed. Are those... angel wings? No time to focus on that. Around her neck was the necklace that she received and she looked a bit lost for words. By this time, Angela had already read the pamphlet, but it was a very strange situation that she seemed to find herself in. Figuring out the smart phone wasn't too difficult for her, it was just all of the extra information to take in. At the very least they had maps of this "Genessia" place that she found herself in. She'll eventually make her way to the Genessia Commonspace, but for now...]

So.... This is a completely different world than we're used to? I'm assuming there's no way out, is there...?

[She understands that much, but it still worries her to think about how the others would get by without her there flying around the battle field keeping them alive.]

Well, let me ask this instead. I'm assuming I'll eventually need to find a place to stay and a job to support my time here, so I'd like a few answers if it's not too much to ask for.

Oh, but maybe I should introduce myself first. My name is Angela Ziegler, I'm a doctor specialized in healing and reviving those who fall in battle for an organization called "Overwatch". [She paused for a moment before proceeding.] Well, I was anyways. My friends/allies called me Mercy, so I'll answer to either name.

My question is... would there be any hospital or clinic hiring for a doctor? I would rather nip this situation in the bud sooner than later so I don't have to worry about my funds while I'm here.

I did get a decent amount of information thanks to this pamphlet and hologram, but any other information that I should know about would be much appreciated.

Genessia hospital is pretty much always hiring. I've heard there is also a travelling doctor service, but that pays a lot less than working in a hospital.

Ahh, okay. I don't mind helping out, but I will need some sort of income to get by at least. Although I may do it later on when I've gotten settled in.

Yeah, this place is that type of thing you need some kind of income that is at least 2 stars or 2000 red bills. Anything lower and you'd probably have to share a place, which some people might not want.

I suppose it wouldn't be out of the question if I actually knew anyone here, but for the time being, I'd like to be self sufficient.

It wouldn't I'm lucky enough to know no one. Which... sounds like super odd to say, but for me it is a good thing.

I've read that there are several cities here. Do you recommend any particular one to start from? I suppose if the Genessia hospital is more than likely hiring, maybe it might be better to find a place here..?

Nova City because of how advanced it is. Genessia, obviously. Attleton is somewhat like a basic city as well. So to me those would be top three medical wise.

The spirits. I mean I don't know much about them, but from peoples reactions they are pretty dangerous. I mean if they can drain ones emotions I put that under dangerous.

That does sound dangerous... I wonder the effect that it has on people though...?

I think they become emotionless husks. But do not quote me on that.

Is there a way to cure those afflicted? [Because she might look into a solution if not.]

Not that I know of yet. If there had been you would have thought someone would say something.

Yeah... I'm sure I'm not the first to think about a cure. I think I might gather more information to try to figure something out.

That's right. I headed up the nanobiology back home and made quite a few advances in the medical field, but it doesn't come without draw backs, of course. I'd rather not have to use it at all if I can avoid it; It's better to be alive and healthy than to ever get to that point, but it's come in handy sometimes when your teammates get too reckless.

"Nanobiology! I've read about that. Countless, miniature robots operate and repair one to the point of miracle, or something along those lines? And you know all about it? Please, elaborate."

[Bore him as much as you want; he's got time and an interest that goes beyond mere curiosity. He may just be in the market for machines like that.]

I suppose robots are one way to look at it, but it's more along the lines of biology than robotics. I don't exactly focus on robotics unless you count the Caduceus Staff or the Valkyrie Suit; although those are more for providing a better opportunity to support those in need, allowing me to fly to them for a swift response.

[Her staff is useless without someone nearby to show it, but she can at least open up her wings as they glow up for a moment before she puts them away again.]

[Ted's bright eyes turn brighter once he sees that kind of angelic symbolism.]

"Haha, my, that's gorgeous! Goodness, and here I thought doctor's couldn't get any more vain!"

[Don't mind him; just some more of the classic "doctor's playing god" jokes.]

"Well, so long as it's all natural. Say, miss, have you ever, ah, taken one under those wings? Ever had the chance to be pedagogic? I'm very interested to see how that all works."

I designed it with the intent of being able to reach more people much faster when it's required. I guess wings was the first thing that popped in my mind.

Hmm... Well, no.. I can't say I have. I never really put much thought into taking in an apprentice to by honest. I wouldn't mind showing you in person someday though.

"By all means! A demonstration would be welcome, though less so than an education. I, ah, do some field work myself. Violence rears its ugly head every so often; I know my first aid, of course, and have a capable mender on speed-dial. Can run someone to a hospital in record time, if it's necessary. It's just a matter of balance, you see. Taking life brings no trouble--I don't, but I could, not to worry--it's the preserving that's the trouble. What I wouldn't give to be able to close a wound as ably as make one. Alas, that power eludes me, and medical school would take eons.

Mm, I agree. Even when just, one definitely feels as though one's going clean against the nature of things.

Oh! Well, having both in the same place would cut down on traveling costs.

Nova City seems like it'd suit you best. It's also very bright. It's an artificial brightness; however. Very inhuman, as most cities are. Genessia City isn't as much of a city, and it has a purity I'm very fond of. There are lies you can't tell there.

Everglade has the most inhumanity to spare, which makes it the one most in need of help. Not for the faint of heart, but if you're a glutton for punishment, look no further.

Attleton is almost a paradox: idyllic, tranquil suburbs side by side with a violent arena and even more violent murders. Very jarring.

Last of all is Fayren, if fairy tales strike your fancy. I doubt you'd fit in there, but it's a charming place all the same. Possibly literally; should take care not to get too enchanted.

There are some in every city, though I suggest selecting one in the city where you work. And given what is going on right now, they most certainly could use any experienced doctors on hand.

I may look around for a place in Genessia City. I would like to assist any way that I can.
