Invasion

It appears for the third time, the citizens of Genessia have been forced to endure an attack from the mysterious creatures from outside of the barrier. Longtime residents may recall the second time they attacked, but even longer time residents may recall the first. Shelters and a means to combat the creatures were provided by David Haller, Guardian of Genessia City. However each other Guardian stepped in as well to help defend their cities and help people that were in need. Though it should be noted that the Fayren Guardian, Xander, has disappeared from this world quite some time ago so during this crisis they were without Guardian.

Causalities appear to have been kept to a minimum and searches are under way for people that have been declared as missing to determine what their fate may be. As the situation develops further, this story will be updated. So stay tuned.

Bad Blood

Friday Night at a Vampire Club called Delirium, several Vampires were killed after partaking in a glass of blood. The reason behind this is unknown, but it is highly suspected that their drinks have been contaminated or tempered with in some way. The bartender that served drinks that night was brought in for questioning, but didn’t seem to know anything.

It appears that only select vampires were killed in this attack, as others were left feeling completely fine. They are being watched carefully for any delayed reaction to what the other Vampires succumbed to.

Monsters Make Mayoral Madness End Mega Marathon to the Mayor's Mansion Early

After the tragic events of the third breach, many cities are in recovery mode. The current city guardians made a valiant effort in concert and were able to save and protect many lives, it was still the center of the action. And while everyone's attentions were focused on the upcoming City Guardian Election and protecting each and every one of us, one election went unnoticed- until now.

Former Nova City mayor B'nak Vorcheesy resigned stating that he wanted to spend more time with his family after a life-changing crisis when the catastrophe began and he lost his husband, Mike. Now taking care of their two children alone, this left the mayoral seat open from the start of the catastrophe despite protective leadership from Nova City Guardian Weiss Schnee and her team of deputies. Regardless of low voter turn-out due to the significant distraction, the emergency election for his replacement was held on Friday, June 16th, and the candidate who came out on top is a name many have heard of: Schnee, but not the one we all know as our Guardian. Jacques Schnee is our City Guardian's father. Despite some controversial actions, the man's responsibility and humility won over the most hardcore of voters who showed up despite the ongoing recovery efforts taking priority, making Jacques Schnee the new mayor of Nova City.

"It takes a big man to admit he's wrong, and he raised those Weiss and Whitley kids who have only brought good things here. I know people say he's got an attitude, but I like a guy who stands up for his beliefs!" said local cyborg community leader, Sreypok Gmith.

For better or worse, Nova City is now following the leadership of Mayor Schnee.

Attack on Ravenguard

Members of the mage guild Ravenguard were attacked and kidnapped on their way to the White Catacombs to train. Boot prints at the crime scene confirm a few things. The group was confronted by another group of people who waited at a specific location and took them down when they arrived and dragged them off. Known for their skillful use of magic, it isn’t known how exactly a group of people were able to get the drop on the mages and take them out.

This story, however, doesn’t end there. Edyus and Akmonora, two members that were victims in the attack finally made it to the White Catacombs to join their brethren, but they didn’t appear to be themselves. Their eyes appeared to be soulless and they didn't actually speak.

Edyus and Akmonora attacked and were killed by their brethren. At least five were injured in the attack and they themselves have suddenly turned up missing. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.

Genessia City

Coerced – Several crimes have been committed with the criminals having no connection to the victims as well as no motive for killing them, though the crime seemed to be meticulously planned out. The criminals also turned themselves in just hours after committing the crimes. There is a rumor that the people were blackmailed or coerced in some way to commit the crimes. A level 2 payment is being offered for someone to find the true culprit.

Nova City

Unlicensed Surgeon - A scientist in Nova City has kidnapped and planted devices in several people. The devices will explode within the next few days and kill the people. They will only remove the devices if they are paid money. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can find the culprit and bring them in.

Everglade

Unhanded – Someone has been going around the city removing the hands of anyone capable of using magic. A few victims of the crime have died from blood loss, but some have survived. Why the culprit is doing this is unknown, but a level 2 payment is being offered for their capture.

Fayren

Branded - A mage has branded several power with a special brand that drains the life from anyone that the person get close to and gives it to the mage herself. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can find her and bring her in.

Attleton

Cold Killer – People have been kidnapped and returned to their families in frozen pieces. It appears a killer is taking their victims and using liquid nitrogen to freeze them so that they can shatter them and return them to their loved ones. A level 3 payment is being offered to anyone that can find this criminal.

Additional Information: Em is not accepting pay for it, but instead will be leaving the bounty strung up from a tree with chains. Still alive! Injured, but they'll live. Just full Batman-style capture and delivery to authorities. They also definitely don't have any of the money they had on them when they were captured- Em definitely took that- and won't be able to identify the person who got them beyond that they saw a little girl who was lost, approached, then the next thing they knew they were bleeding from a gash on their stomach and their arms were bound from behind before being knocked out. When they woke up they were chained up and their branded hand was cut clean off and cauterized. It sounds like a spooky ghost story.
