1st Heart
Who: Sora and YOU
What: First, Sora's back on the Spades Pirates' ship, to find that he's alone, helpless, and unable to control his emotions. :V So, with that, he casually moves himself onto some unidentifiable island.
When: May 9th
Where: Dreamscape.
Warning(s): R for extreme violence and possibility of death, or overdose of cute.
Well, he'd always suspected that he'd wind up back on that world. He simply hadn't expected to find himself on an empty ship- yet, somehow, he was aware that it was the Spades' ship. He could even tell that it was the one called the Moon. Sora blinked as he looked around, brow tensing after a moment. There was...literally nobody. His expression softened as he immediately began running through the ship, blue eyes trained to catch a glimpse of someone... Minutes later...nothing- seriously, anyone would be a welcome sight.
The Navi was missing. Out of curiosity (well, really, because he had a strange feeling), Sora attempted to summon his Keyblade- only to find that he couldn't. Okay, now things were getting weird. The teen glances towards the distance to find an approaching ship. A sinking feeling filled his gut. Not because it was another ship- but, because it was a navy ship.
And he was unable to summon his Keyblade. So- so, what then?! There was a strange feeling of panic and worry that he wasn't...well-acquainted with. For some reason, he was unable to ignore it, though. He couldn't stop the pounding of his heart, the sensation of dread...the idea that he was about to be...killed. Really, why was he feeling all of that?! He never got that scared. It was almost as though those feelings were being implanted into his heart, or something. Like there was an outside forced affecting his emotions...? Well, he didn't have time to think about it. He could only move.
Sora's teeth clenched together and he began looking around. There was an island not too far off. Maybe he could swim for it? Well, that was what he was going to do! Running full-speed, he took off to the opposite side of the ship and, without a pause, dove off. It was a really good thing he'd grown up on an island. By the time he was touching land, his muscles were screaming for rest. Still, though, he didn't pause. He was dragging himself out of the water, and then running as quickly as he could further onto the island. Dripping wet, he ignored the screaming of his lungs as he ran to hide within the trees.

[Toshio had found himself stranded on the island, and where as Sora was looking for a way off the ship, he was looking for a way on. He wasn't sure how they got back here, or why the ship was so far off shore, but it didn't matter did it?]
[Because as soon as he caught sight of the naval ships he was ready for battle and ducked into cover, keeping his presence to a minimum. He studied the situation, the moon wasn't moving like she should be, and it seemed like nobody had taken notice to the approaching threat. This wasn't good, what was the chance he could swim out and warn them before canon fire started? And what the hell were those bastards doing that kept from noticing!]
[Suddenly he heard splashing nearby and he got low to the ground, approaching as silently as possible, unsure if it was friend of foe. But it didn't take long to find out, as the mystery person ran towards them. He kicked out a foot and sent them skidding through the dirt, lunging on top and raising a fist to knock them out-]
[-that was when he got a good look and realized the one running was Sora.]
God dammit kid, what the hell are you doing?

Sora wasn't normally a jumpy person. He wasn't usually someone to get legitimately frightened by having his balanced swept away. He's normally able to roll with punches tossed by life, especially after everything he's been through recently.
Something's really...wrong, though.
A gasp escapes as he's sent flying to the ground, his eyes widening as he lands with an 'oof', before quickly flipping onto his back and staring up at his attacker. The raised fist is met with genuine fear, and even Sora doesn't know where it's coming from. It isn't until he hears that voice that he realizes who he's staring up at like a frightened child.]
To...shio...
[He doesn't even recognize his own voice, in that moment. It sounds so...small? Then, he blinks, realizing there's tears coming out of his eyes.
He's scared.
He's worried about there having not been anyone on the ship.
Where's Kairi???
...And, to top it all off, he's exceptionally happy to see a familiar face.
All of those emotions are swarming him, at once, in a strange way. Why can't he just get a grip?! What's with him?! Sora's brow tenses and he reaches up and grips the front of Toshio's shirt. The grip contains just as much emotion as is escaping from his eyes.] I...don't know where we are. There wasn't anyone on the ship, and... [He swallows, forcing his voice to maybe just stop shaking.] I don't know what's going on... Where are we?!
[And now he's yelling. And, just like with the fact he's crying, he doesn't know why.]

It wasn't long though until she spotted a familiar face. It was Sora and... She had no idea what was going on or what was wrong, but it had her filled with concern. She started to run as fast as she could over to him.]
Sora! What's wrong? Wh- [She didn;t finish the next question when she noted what was wrong. She reconised the style of ship. It was the Navy, but she wondered if thatw as the case why was he running?]
Sora... We should find a place to hide. [She glances around before pointing off towards a random direction.]
Over there.

He was instantly overwhelmed by a sensation of relief. Of course, he'd be relieved. He just wasn't prepared for just how much relief filled his chest. It had him frozen in place for a moment. Then, he was moving to wrap his arms around her, without a warning.]
You're okay...There was nobody on the ship, and...
[Ugh, why was he crying?!?! Why were his emotions going crazy?! Sora pulled away and gave an apologetic look before nodding.]
S-sorry, and...yeah, let's go! [He grabbed her and and began running in the direction she'd pointed. Once they were safely within the mix of boulders and rocks, Sora leaned against one. Well, it was probably a good time to let her know...]
Er...I'm...not able to summon the Keyblade, Kairi...so if they try to attack...
[Well, the rest was probably obvious.]
no subject
So when they were finally hidden and she heard that he couldn't use his keyblade that only worried her more.]
Sora... [That wasn't good. She wasn't exactly the best of fighters so how was she suppose to fight for both herself and him. It was going to be a challenge but she was going to do it.]
I'll protect you. [She give a small heartfelt smile as she went to check if they had either passed or figured out that they were on the island. if they were to come, she knew what to do.]
no subject
Once they were hidden and he heard her say she'd protect him, his heart just sank. He didn't want to be protected, he would rather DO the protecting.]
Maybe...they didn't notice.
[He peeks around the boulder his back is pressed against, blue eyes peering out to see if he was followed.]
no subject
[She peered out slightly.]
So far so good, but I wouldn't think moving would be a good idea for now. [She moved slightly, keeping close to the rock as much as she could before looking over.]
We could keep going this way and see where it goes, but it looks like it gets cramped so maybe it would be a bad idea.
lmao I just now saw my fail... :|a
Yeah, maybe we could just sit here for a moment...to...see if they really aren't following.
[He closes his eyes, feeling an overwhelming surge of...fear? Ugh, why can't he shake it?!]
Kairi, I think...something's wrong with me...
[He gave a laugh of disbelief at even having said it. It sounded...ridiculous? Ugh, what was wrong with him?! He put both hands on either side of his head, and clenched his teeth.]
I can't...calm...?
[He'd never heard his own voice sound that small, before. Finally, he just shouts.]
First, I can't summon the Keyblade, now I can't calm down...What's the matter with me?!
no subject
Standing up again, she moved in closer to him.]
There is nothing wrong with you. It's normal to be scared for one, though as for the keyblade thing... I can't exactly answer that one.
no subject
"AAHHHH!"
What the hell?!
no subject
He wasn't even sure why he screamed, but it had kind of happened before he had a chance to stop it. Yeah, the inability to control his emotions was really starting to suck. He felt immensely more on edge than he had, before.
"Who're you?!" The question came out rushed as he immediately turned to glance behind him.
Okay, good, the navy weren't heading towards the island, yet. Still, though... Sora was moving forward and grabbing the stranger's sleeve.
"A-actually, let's wait to talk! We should really get away from the beach, first!"
no subject
"Why are we getting away from the beach?"
No one said they couldn't run off and talk at the same time. Besides. Brock would kind of like to know why he had to run away.
no subject
Familiar in that he knew how to use a beach to his advantage. Surrounded by his power, there was little that he feared, or couldn’t adequately prepare for. Immediately after appearing, he started looking around. There was a purpose to all of these dreams, he quickly surmised, after the first couple he had experienced.
…Sora.
So this was his dream. It appeared as though Sora was being chased by… some unknown adversaries. He had fled from a nearby ship – logic deduced that the enemy party was still aboard that craft. Gaara’s expression remained calm as he walked toward the other teen, all the while gathering his power together. The sand around his feet began to swirl, swiftly lifting into the air in anticipation of an attack.
“Sora,” he commanded in an even tone, “Remain calm. You are safe now.”
With a casual flick of his wrist, a sand shield erected, blocking Sora from the vast sea. That was where the Suna ninja anticipated the enemies would appear.

"Woah...that's pretty cool, Gaara!"
Then, it's like a switch was flipped and he was remembering why he was running. Turning back towards the sand-wielder, Sora gave him an incredibly worried look, "There wasn't anybody on the ship...I wonder if they've all been captured.."
His brow tensed and he moved a hand to the side of his head, "I don't want any more of my...friends to die. Just...no more." He then let out a laugh as his eyes welled up, "I think...I've lost count on how many people I haven't been able to save, Gaara. Every time I'm convinced it'll be alright, I lose someone else. I really think Kairi was...the last straw, for me. When will it stop?! I'm tired of being too weak to save even the people closest to me!" He was yelling by that point.
"I don't wanna be back here!" He dropped to his knees, one fist punching into the sand, "Where is she?! How can I protect her if she's not even here?!"

“......”
Cool…? Gaara repeated inside his head, tilting it a little as he wondered if he had heard correctly. It could have been wistful thinking. But they had more important matters at hand to address, so he didn’t dwell on it for long.
“Sora.” His voice was stronger this time, unyielding and lacking sympathy. Not that he didn’t feel any twinge of sadness for his fri-… for his companion, but Sora needed to realize the truth quickly, so he could end this nightmare. “You are dreaming. You must awaken.”
Gaara knelt down and reached over to firmly grasp his shoulder, shaking the boy. “Kairi remains safe in your home world, I would presume. She is not dead, nor are you weak. Your heart is strong enough to overcome the influence of the Heartless. You possess many capabilities. Don’t allow your faith to falter.”
