[For now General Hux chooses to use the voice function of the device. He found that the smart phone was rather outdated to what he was used to, but it was pretty easy to figure out. With so many of those from his world and the different time periods clashing, he was wary of showing himself. Maybe later he would choose to do so.

When he speaks it's in a crisp manner with and heavily accented, similar to the British. He cuts right to the point, giving the bare minim information that wasn't going to give away what he didn't want them to learn. Once, he's said what was needed he then ended the feed.]

It would certainly seem that I have arrived at an interesting time. I have to say I have been amused in watching the problems arising in the many fractions from my world. The majority of you would be from my past.

My name is General Hux of the First Order. We follow in the Empire's footsteps.

If you want to listen to people talk and make empty promises then its best you listen to the Rebels or their counterpart the Resistance. They are quite known for empty promises. If you're looking for someone to take action we are the ones to look to.

[A pale faced young man appears on screen. His red hair slicked back with a hat on top. He's wearing a black military uniform and a heavy wool coat over it. His green eyes glare back at the young man.]

In my world we are taking action to protecting the worlds that have been neglected by the Republic. The Republic is too busy talking about what to do instead of working to be done what is needed.

[And a young man with messy blonde hair, a black hoodie, and dark circles that make him look a couple of years older than he really is stares back. He holds his hands up appeasingly, but there's more than a hint of sarcasm.]

Wow, I'm sorry. Normally it's considered polite to introduce yourself by your full name before you start trying to turn everyone against a certain group of people. I guess they don't teach you manners in the space military.

My name is Cassian Andor, Captain with the Rebel Alliance, and Guardian of Attleton. I suggest you rethink taking action. [ His voice is cold and hard, both from anger and unease at introducing himself for the first time as Guardian. He'd sure hoped to do so under better circumstances. ]

[Hux does not appear to be too amused at all.]

Where I'm from it's respectful to use the title or the last name. It is considered rude to disregard the title.

[Cassian gets to meet General Hux whom appears to be quite bored by the threat. He wears a black military uniform with a heavy wool coat. The design is very similar to the Empire's uniforms.]

How quaint. Your little threat means nothing to me. You did just as I wanted you to do.

[ Three Imperials in about as many weeks have turned Cassian into a very disgruntled rebel indeed. He sizes up the man, taking in the similar but still distinct uniform. There's a scowl on his own face. ]

If you're going to interpret an introduction as a threat that's your truth, General. I only meant to save you from making a fool of yourself by declaring your intentions of becoming this place's supreme overlord just like every other minor tyrant that passes by.

You know what's really rude? Lying and spreading rumors.

[Hux merely rolled his eyes. He can't help but view Cassian as an annoying little bug that won't go away.]

My world doesn't have anything like that. Republic or rebellions. There are many different governments.

The goal defines the purpose and effectiveness of the tools used. Empty promises can be as powerful as action.

What matters is the goal. What goals do you wish to achieve, General?

[Some of the references are familiar to him - terms others have mentioned from the future, so Grievous at least assumes that this Hux was from the same galaxy.]

[ The voice is young, but has a very Twi'lek sounding accent. Or French, for people from Earth. ]

[ He stifles an irritated sigh. So Imperial, this man. So confident in his own superiority, in the power they wield. They're all the same. ]

[ He'd be quite fine being seen as a bug, really, that's how the rebellion works. One bug sting is annoying, but a thousand will kill you. ]

[ Thrawn has been listening and watching more than he has been conversing on the network. But for anyone that's studied the Clone Wars, the name piques his curiosity. There has been little tactical sense in declaring himself openly, so he has not done so, though Cassian seems to think he's certainly an Imperial. ]

I must confess that I have no knowledge of this 'First Order'. I can only surmise it is a military following the Empire and therefore my lifetime on the timeline.

[To Kay it sounds like the Core World's accent. Which is not unheard around here, but the name does ring a bell and the words strike a chord. The droid in the video is a KX series but the Empire emblem in his shoulders has been replaced by the Starbird Symbol.]

You won't follow the Empire's footsteps here. Our war does not exist here and it shouldn't.

Wait, what's this First Order stuff? There's an Imperial Remnant, but I've never heard that term used at all. Or of any Resistance. All I know about's the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant. But the Republic's promises sure weren't empty. I mean, we've had a few rough spots, but things have quieted down a lot. I think Leia and the others did a pretty good job, even though politics drives me crazy sometimes.

[And this is where Han is confronted again with the multiple timelines and is thoroughly confused.]

Might I ask what sort of action?

The First Order is fairly new in making its appearance. We've been underground since I was a child. As much as it pains me to mention this, but the Empire had fallen. We continued in it's place.

[ That may be a diplomatic way of saying 'you pissed off just about all the imperial brass from the galactic core'. ]

Yes, I am already aware the Empire fell. I understood there to be a democratic government that followed it.

My friend wants the other citizens here to know what is going on in our world so they don't get mixed into out issues. We never told them that they had to pick a side or take action. And if 'Empty Promises' is what you complain about, which is define as 'flattering speech designed to persuade or influence', then you must have a lot of issues with Palpatine himself.

That is the drawback to most democratic governments. There often tends to be an emphasis on plurality, and all voices having an equal say in every matter.

OK, sure, there's been some squabbling and infighting, but we've managed to make it almost two decades by my time. Leia's been a great Chief of State and a big part of all of it.

Your different governments would be similar to what goes on in my world. Although, I believe not on a grander scale.
