[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Heatwave

If you have seen the Weather section of the newspaper already, then you know that Genessia is about to be struck with a heatwave for the next two weeks. High heat isn’t uncommon for the summer time, so for those of you not use to this type of weather, take precautions top prepare yourself for it. Pace yourself when you are out in the heat, keep yourself well hydrated and take frequent breaks. Also place you’re a/c guy on speed dial, because if yours break, you might want to get them out to your place ASAP before they are completely booked!

A few business in Genessia City, Nova City and Attleton have said that they will be offering free bottled water while some are offering free frozen treats. A small n umber of business are discounting some of their fans and a/c units for the period of the heatwave.

Malfunction

Several people in Nova City with robotic prosthetics are reporting that their limbs have randomly malfunctioned throughout the last week. A few say it locked up when they were performing a take and a few others say theirs suddenly moved in a way that they didn’t try to make it move. A man kicked a random pedestrian in the rear when his leg was suddenly made to kick forward.

All of the prosthetic limbs were manufactured by the same company, so an investigation into the cause of the problem is underway. With it not being wide spread, some in the company believe that the limbs could have some sort of defect in them that’s making them malfunction. They are requesting that anyone suffering from this problem to come in so they can have things properly checked out to determine the problem. The company has stated that if replacing the limbs proves necessary, then they will be paying all of the costs to do so.

Masked Thief - A masked man has been seen breaking into several jewelry stores after hours and stealing the most expensive pieces of jewelry there. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can capture the culprit.

Phantasmic Killer: A now-confirmed serial has been on a rampage for several weeks now. Most murders happen in Genessia city at night. Individuals are usually alone in a public place and are killed with a blade. Despite numerous deaths there have been very few witnesses, the only leads being the killer is likely female, wears a skirt, and has red eyes. Level 2 payment for completing this bounty. Nova City

Droid Warfare – Several experimental androids have been stolen from a technologies company and programmed to help the thief rob banks. At least eight people have been severely injured after being shot or thrown by the droids. A level 3 payment is being offered for anyone that can capture the criminal and droids.

Everglade

Werewolf Hunter – A man has been hunting Werewolves in Everglade. 2 victims have fallen prey to traps he’s set up and 2 others have fallen victim to silver arrows. A level 2 payment is being offered for anyone that can capture this man.

Fayren

Transformed – A group of teenagers have contaminated various foods in Fayren with a Polymorph potion that they created. The potion changes people into a random animal for 1 to 3 hours. While they may see it as a harmless prank, others do not. A level 1 bounty is being offered to anyone that can bring in the culprits.

Attleton

Knockout - Several people have found themselves suddenly unconscious after a powerful blow to the head while walking home at night. When they wake, all of their possessions are gone. A level 1 payment is being offered to anyone that can capture the culprit.

Additional Information: As with her previous bounty, she isn't laying claim to it but will be leaving the culprits for the authorities over night. This one is much tamer because she thought it was actually legitimately hilarious, so she just knocked them out and left them tied up in the back of a hay wagon. They will report remembering a creepy little girl singing and then telling them, just as she finished making another potion, that she was going to tattle on them before they were knocked out from behind. Emerald is 100% going to be taking all but one flask of the potion (one so the evidence is there). How many would they have had ready to go for more pranks?

Pretty sure the answer is 99, since one percent of 100 is just 1. So 100-1=99.

The Nova City Guardian team is going to attempt to look into the prosthetics malfunctions. They are causing harm to citizens, so it can't hurt to check. They will

1. Request to view the original programming base code for the prosthetics.

2. If they get access to it, Garrus will use his omni-tool to check the programming in some of the prosthetics for abnormalities.

Does this yield anything?

The request would have to come directly from Weiss herself and they would only be allowed to view it on the company premises and they wouldn't be allowed to copy the information or anything.

If they get access, the original coding with have noticeable differences from the one currently on the prosthetics.

It would have come from Weiss! If they find a hacker can they bring them in to review the coding from another perspective and try to trace it back to the source?

It's traceable, but the hacker isn't an amateur. If the hacker tracing them isn't careful, they will trigger alerts on their system.

Delay but Weiss got a skilled hacker to agree to help!
