[It's been a very long time since Alice has seen the Scarlet Devil's sister. Stranger still, is the question.]

Nearly all of us from Gensokyo came from a different point in time. Marisa and I for example simply don't let it occupy our thoughts.

Regardless of who and when, find a point in time where you and your friends came from, and go from there. It doesn't necessarily have to be complicated.

That's my two cents, at least.

[Someone's been worrying over this question for some time..and trying to focus on her pokemon instead.]

But...What if that means the people closest to you might reject you because they are not theirs? I mean..like say the person is a lone survivor or something?

[..She's not far from the truth as far as she knows about the wormholes.]

[!!!! This isn't what she wanted at all. There is some panicking quietly, although the sound of her wings is a bit louder and less...natural.]

Nothing! ...At least, Not yet. I will let you know when I know?

[Trying to deflect and stall for some time..which she has a feeling her white lies are about to really bite her hard and that time is up.]

"Young Miss?" It was Sakuya. She had been out doing some last minute shopping before the store closed for the evening but this was more important.

Well there was no use beating around the bush.

"... I do understand. Some time ago I discovered I was neither the maid Lady Remilia knew, nor yours, nor Lady Patchouli's. But I will continue to serve you all the same. As has been my duty and privilege for many years. So, please, if it is me you worry for, know that I will remain steadfast."

She had made a promise not to leave Flandre behind, after all.

[ Now she's getting Remi a little concerned. ]

Sakuya didn't reject me, so she won't reject you. I know she's not our Sakuya... but she'll serve and protect us still.

..I...It's not that..it's...

[More nervous wing sounds. It takes a moment for her to calm down enough.]

I...I wanna do this right. Can I talk to you face to face instead of over this...in a little while? Please?

[Surrendering to her fate at the moment.]

It'll take a moment for Flandre to respond. It was comforting to know this, although still having to squash down a more bitter thought in her head before it would be voiced. If anything, Flandre sounds reilived and a little less worried.

"It's not..but I'm glad to hear that Sakuya. It makes me feel a little less worried about talking to...Remilia about this."

Slightly strange there, both the hesitation and the way she referenced her sister but she had a point behind it. Had to get used to that just in case. Even then, she's fumbling with her words and unsure about what to say.

"I'm...actually more worried about myself on that. I...I wanna do this face to face with everyone but...I mean.."

Alright. Where do you want to meet?

Hmmm..The one room with the windows.

[Her favorite spot in Castelvania so far.]

[ And not too long later, there will be a knock on the door. ]

[There is a soft, "Come in" at the knock. Flandre was in the middle of pacing near a small bag and is still very viably nervous. She had more then enough reason to be and was somewhat prepared for the worst even though a tiny part of her wants to believe everything is fine.

She's gripping her left wrist very tightly, trying to keep herself calm and not too agitated as she speaks, the words sounding very stiff.]

Thank you for giving me time to think some of this through Remilia.

[...Of course she's going to accidentally throw up a few red flags on the way.]

[ Remilia enters, looking at Flandre with a little concern... ]

What's going on?

[A tiny, but forced smile there. Flandre has her wings tight against her back and that grip on her wrist tightens. There is a distinct lack of worry about her wrist and she shifts slightly, in a prepared stance. She was ready to dart off at a moments notice but for now-.]

I...I was wanting to tell you and everyone else sooner but...I got scared and the more I waited, the more things kept happening. I never meant to keep things from you or anyone but...

[She trails of for the moment. the rest was going to take a lot of courage and throw everything out in the open.]

[ Remi is a little confused about this, Flandre looked ready to run... for some reason. ]

I'm here now, Flandre.

I...I've not been fully truthful to you since you got here. I didn't lie about being on the spaceship or learning things while there....but I can't keep lying. I want you to know the truth Remilia.

[There is a soft crack coming from her wrist but no reaction on Flandre's face from it. She's using the pain to focus, keeping her going to finish this.]

What I didn't tell you was that everyone else was on this ship at some point. You, Sakuya, Patchouli were the one I knew of personally as...I had been there and went back with no memory of it all. When I got there- a lot of things were happening and some of us got captured so I didn't know the whole thing until afterwards. I learned by watching and asking others. Karen and Atem also helped me understand and became my friends. We all shared one thing in common.

[There is a sharper crack as she tightens her grip. Her left hand is limp as she has broken her wrist. There is a slight shiver but she continues, trembling.]

Remilia....My home is gone. I can't go back because that means I won't be around anymore. The Improbability drive took the ones from my world and I don't know what happened to them. They could be dead or looking for me. I don't want to admit it because..then I know I'm alone but...I'm not from your world. I can't be your Flandre because she's probably back in your home, not knowing anything has happened...

[She's tearing up and tensing more and more. She's almost thinking about darting right away but..She had to give the option..see the reaction and then decide.]

If...If it's too hard to think about- I can leave and stay away. If you are afraid I can't make it, I had to do it before alone..I'll figure it out.

[She lets go of her wrist finally and reaches for the bag, ready for the response.]

[ She quickly tries to stop Flandre from hurting herself further, she moves in fast, pulling Flandre close... and doesn't let go. For a few moments, Remilia flashes back to centuries ago, the night she saved Flandre from hunters... The night Flandre lost her wings. ]

This is an interesting topic. It's not exactly something I've really come across either, but if it did happen, I guess talking to your closest friends would always be helpful.

"To Lady Remilia?" Sakuya paused. "I'm afraid... I'm not sure if this is your Lady Remilia or not. All I know is that the previous one who left us was mine." her voice was a little strained as she said that. Not much, but Flandre would be able to detect it rom the normally very formal maid.

"Face to face? I am at your call always, Young Miss. If you would allow me to finish my shopping trip first though. it will take several extra minutes to get these purchased." She said as she picked out an entire tub of Flandre's favorite ice cream. It wouldn't make the situation better but it might make her smile.

[She freezes up completely before starting to break down into tears, babbling very very quickly it was hard to understand. 'I'm sorry.', 'I'm a bad girl' and "I should go away and never come out again' is probably the most repeated and understandable bits of it all. There is no movement to cling or hug or anything.]

What if the closest friends were also those people? And that the person was afraid they would tell them to leave and never come back?

I... I won't send you away.

[ And she will not let her go... ]

"Okay...Take your time. I wanna do this right even if I can't stay around. Although I'm sorry if I seem..off. I just don't want to keep lying anymore."

Flandre already knew she was going to be a mess after this whole thing- Even if she was going to stay or not. But even with distracted with her thoughts..

"...Are you going to be okay Sakuya? I know this stuff os really weird and sometimes hard on people.."

She's grown to worry about everyone else which is why she's finally gotten the need to come clean with everything.

A..are you sure?

[Spoken between sobs as she trails of in babbling. There is still no relaxing or movement other then her crying which is good because she'd probably be reaching for her wrist again at this point.]

What if your sister comes? I'll just be in the way and scare her. I can't do that to you when you have to deal with her being upset and scared.

[Her voice is getting softer and she's refusing to even look Remilia in the eyes..or even at her.]

I'll deal with it. [ It's not like Flandre can go anywhere else. Even if she's not her Flandre, there is still a bond... ]

You shouldn't have to though..It's not fair to you. Or anyone one else.

[And putting everything else before herself. There is a bit of self worth issues coming out here, trying to make sure everyone else would be fine. There is a wince as she moves her still trying to regenerate wrist.]

[ That... shouldn't take long to regenerate. Though a burn would be quicker to heal than bones. She'll... hold Flandre close for now. ] You don't need to hurt yourself...

But...I...Okay Remilia. I won't

[There is still so much hesiation with saying Remilia's name. She didn't feel there was a right to call her by a nickname or anything else at the moment or at all. But she moves very, very slowly to stiffly try and hug her with one arm. She's still tense and refusing the comfort she's wanting to draw from Remilia but starting to give in because anything to quiet down the thoughts running through her head right now.]

I deserve it though..for being bad.

[ Remilia will not change her mind when it comes to that. ]

But..I liked to you. Lied to everyone about who I was and tried to hide it for so long.

[The tears are coming back now and that grip is slowly getting tighter as if she needs help staying upright.]

And if I'm not a bad girl why is everyone gone and left me alone? Why Karen hasn't come to find me? ..I don't wanna be alone..

[ Another name she's unfamiliar with. ]

[Finally, she's starting to relax and the urge to bolt is fading finally. Flandre is going to finally look back and lay her head on Remilia's shoulder hesitantly so she can just stop holding back her tears. It's less the sobs then before and more just letting out some of her frustrations and hopelessness she's been hiding. But that hug is getting less stiff and more as if she's starting to cling. She can ask what she is anymore once she's calmer.]

But that could be because of being bad too.

You've not been bad...

[ Remilia believes that, so that much be true, shouldn't it? ]

"Of course." She was already heading to the register. She had picked up most of everything, though she did pick up a chocolate bar as she was waiting in line.

"Ah, me? Yes, Young Miss. I will be okay. I did speak to Lady Remilia about it and I've been working though my stress with a little bit more off-time. I think Lady Remilia already knows but, if she doesn't, please don't tell her. I doubt she would disapprove but I do not want to be the cause of her frown."

"One moment though..." Flandre could hear a few words being exchanged as the groceries were rung up and bagged. It sounded like Sakuya was familiar with the cashier at least.

"Alright Young Miss. I'm outside the store. I will be back in a matter of moments." The phone seemed to hiccup before going dead and a gentle hand settled on Flandre's shoulder, the maid taking a knee before presenting the little vampire with a bowl of ice cream and half a chocolate bar sticking out as an edible garnish.

"Young Miss. It's been quite warm lately. So please enjoy this while we talk."

[There is a small whimper at that. She's going to stop saying that for now- although it's probably clear where she is mentally at the moment.]

But..what am I now? What do I call you? Where do I belong?

Perhaps... an adopted sister. And call me Remi.

Flandre was quiet through everything. She was adjusting her bag that would keep her going if she was requested to leave after all of this. Making sure her pokeballs were secure and any small items she wanted to make sure that was kept close were there. But listening closely because she wanted to know.

"I won't tell her. She's going to have enough reason to be upset without that being brought up. The secret is safe with me!"

It sounds half hearted but the little vampire means it. Even if everything was going down hill, there was no reason to add to that. She's quiet and sets the bag aside where it was needed for later and sitting down to just let her mind wander. Between the heat and this whole thing..

Which is why she jumps ever so slightly at the touch although a tiny smile appears at the treat. She doesn't move to take it at first, the smile fading slightly. There was the fact she had been eating a lot less in nervousness. But taking it, looking at it quietly.

"Thank you Sakuya...It looks really good."

Okay Remi...I can do that.

[She sounds so tired, physically, mentally and emotionally. The heat didn't help with her tought process and everything but she'd keep her complaints to herself. She was allowed to stay close.]

I'm sorry for worrying you.

[ Remi will protect the girl like she was her own Flandre... ]

Well... Fear can be a normal thing, but at the same time not saying anything is also not helping in the long run.

best thing to do is as people say 'rip off the bandaid' if something positive comes from it, then it's good. If not at least you know and see what happens afterwards.
