[Action] Waking Up - Not in Animus nor Solum
[Waking up in strange places becomes a norm for a 15-years-old werewolf teen like Ryder. It might because that his fainting spells and the after effects of his transformations may cause his best friend or mentor to drag him either to the hospital or his own home at the dojo to recuperate. Except for this time, he starts to notice that he's not waking up in his bedroom or a hospital room, but finds himself in a strange cocoon with a white box on his chest.
Obviously, his reaction to all of this is just a scream of horror at the thought that he might have kidnapped by someone. Not only that, after he managed to calm down and opened the cocoon to get out, he then sees his own reflection, revealing that he somehow reverted back into his human form. He is confused about it at first since he did notice that his Lunae Lumen amulet is still in his pocket. But once he steps out of the cave and sees the modernized city in front of him, he realizes that he is not in Somnium City. In fact, he's not even in Animus anymore.]
W-W-WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!!!
[Judging by how loud Ryder scream, anyone might hear it (and get disturbed by it) if they pass by. I suggest you better calm him down before he gets a panic attack.]
[Video] A Few Points
[Eventually after he saw the holographic welcome, he realized that not only he's in some kind of another realm or world, but the fact neither his family, Venta nor his mentor, Kurago is nowhere to be found and that he might be stuck in Genessia for a while. Yet now he thinks about it, he feels that his whole situation might be akin to those 'Isekai' light novel genre he recently heard about. Regardless, those facts make him more scared and worried that he might not able to see them again.
But unlike before, he didn't panic as he quickly wonders if this world might be the same as Animus when it comes to its time and reality. With that, he decides to use his new smartphone to solve this. While he doesn't use the video chat function more often in Solum, he does have any knowledge of how a spiritual call works back in Animus.]
Um... Hello?
Yeah, I'm sorry about my scream if you heard it earlier... I'm actually new to this city or world as you called it, but I have some questions regarding about it. Well, weird ones since they might be crazy.
First off, is this world's time very different than my own? Like 1 week in one world is equivalent to 1 year?
Two, does this world have any full moon phases like my world? Cause I might need a full moon for myself and my charm.
And three, I managed to learn more about Fayren from one of the brochures, but can anyone tell me more about that city?
As for my reasons for asking those questions, I will let you know at the later date. I... just want to get this over with before I'm even more confused about all of this.

[Video]
We count time 60 seconds to a minute, 60 minutes to an hour, 24 hours in a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Give or take.
I'm relatively certain our moon has its phases, yes.
Annnd, ahah, sorry, my knowledge of Fayren still doesn't rise much above tourism. You'd probably get more of one who makes it their home.
I hope that helps.
Re: [Video]
O...kay...
But... What about my world? What happens if my friends and family realize I'm missing?
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
That means there is some magic that allows them to be unaware of my own disappearance?
Mean, but effective.
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
[Well, he's not the type to do tarot reading, but he did read some novels about them.]
Oh, right.
I'm Ryder Clayton, 15 years old. But as the werewolf spirit, I am known as Den of the Lupus Argentum.
[He then looks down, realizing his current appearance right now.]
Well, I'm not exactly in my werewolf form now. But when my charm's charged or the full moon's out, I will be one.
Re: [Video]
That's, ah...hmm.
[Werewolves usually weren't good people. He may have to shoot him with lots of silver.]
The well behaved kind of mutt, I hope.
Re: [Video]
[Yeah, he's definitely not an occult-type of a reader as he is mostly on fantasy and mystery genre.]
Don't worry. I'm not one of those grizzly and violent werewolves like in those horror films. Besides, it's against the rules to hunt humans and I'm not the type to break that kind of rule.
[He is already aware of the consequences ever since he saw one of Eroth's Rugokula Lupo friend tried to attack his human friends in Solum until his charm quickly paralyzes him for a few hours.]
By the way, my pamphlet and that holographic message did mention something about applying for a job.
Re: [Video]
[What a kidder!
mostly]Mhm, certainly. "Those who don't work don't deserve to eat", etcetera. One can never really start too soon.
Re: [Video]
Wait, what?!
[For Ryder, it doesn't bother him on getting a job at all. Not only he is old enough to get one but other than his job as a Fighter, he feels getting one would give him the reason to move on from his current situation.]
I can't argue with that. Although, the question is that what kind of job should I take. It's really hard since I have to consider what city should I live in my assigned home after for a month.
Re: [Video]
For another, well, look at your necklace! It's colored for a reason. It ought to tell you where you'd live best. Or at least most easily.
Re: [Video]
[Oh yeah, he did get a necklace from the white box when he woke up.]
Well, from what I can tell on my own pendant, it has a green stone with a few flecks of yellow. So... What does that mean?
Re: [Video]
It means you'd probably be most comfortable in Fayren, while visiting Attleton on occasion, I bet.
Re: [Video]
[And he is okay with being compatible at those cities. Besides, he prefers being close to magic or a quiet place to live.]
I'm glad to hear that. Well, I should probably find a job by tomorrow then. I don't want to get stuck in that Commonspace forever.
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
You're very welcome!
[Ted patiently waits for him to finish that thought.]
Re: [Video]
What's your name again?
[Yeah, you asked about his name, but not the strange man's.]
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
video;
Hello, there... Do you still need help with anything? I can try to answer any questions you may have.
Re: video;
I do need to know more about Fayren. It seems to be a good place to stay...
Re: video;
Anything specific about Fayren you would like to ask about?
Re: video;
Re: video;
I'm not like other people. It's not safe for me there... But yes, there is swords and magic and stuff there.
Re: video;
[However, he is surprised to hear how Anastasia describes her experience there.]
Not safe? What makes you say that?
Re: video;
[Anastasia, though, never actually lived in the city.]
My people evolved for a freezing climate all year round. I can get sick in the heat very quickly. Neither of the five cities are cold in any other season but winter,
Re: video;
[Well, there are some people including other races that can't adapt to any season for a number of reasons, so he can understand that.]
Makes sense. So where do you live now exactly?
Re: video;
[She had encountered one before. At least two times at most. They were denizens of the Realm of Ice, or so she believed. She had encountered one in the material world before.]
I live in Nova City, with someone who wished to be my mentor of sorts.
Re: video;
[And not like those horror movie werewolves you saw on TV.]
Nova City?
Re: video;
[Saying as if it wasn't a bundle of nuts to other people.]
Yes. Nova City is a city unlike anything I've ever seen. The most advanced nation of my world can build land wagons without horses, [And were immediately weaponized into war wagons.] and cook their food without fire.
Nova City has metal men, called robots, moving walkways, boxes with moving pictures and a machine that makes air cold.
Re: video; (Note that Ryder is still in his human form despite the icon)
[And judging by what Anastasia describes them, he can tell that she must have meant cars, stoves, robots, escalators, TVs, and air conditioner. Guess that means she's currently living in some kind of a sci-fi city then.]
Well, I'm okay with you on living that city because of the air conditioner. But are you sure you can adapt to its advanced technology? It can be overwhelming to a girl who lived in a fantasy world like you.
Re: video;
I've lived here for over a year. I don't use most of the technology. Only the ones that are easier to understand. Like the air conditioner and the television.
Re: video;
Oh. Well, as long you're okay with the technology around you, then I have no problems about that.
[Then, he notices some kind of fundraising booth nearby as he looks around outside the bay.]
By the way, what's with the charity event back there? Is something happened in here?
Re: video;
Fundraiser?
[She wasn't aware of a fundraiser. She does a quick search on the phone.]
That must be Sonico Super raising funds for the Attletone Guardian's office. I don't understand why she would choose this method, though.
[She only knows she won't be caught dead dressing like that for any reason. Well, perhaps a modest version. She loves dressing up.]
Re: video;
Re: video;
Re: video;
Well, is there anything else you want to tell me about the other cities as well?
Re: video;
[How would she describe the others? She could think back on the manga genre's.]
Well, we've already established Fayren and Nova are "Fantasy" and "sci-fi." Genessia is probably "Slice of Life." Attleton too, maybe. Attleton is quieter, and has a Colosseum. And Everglade is "Horror."
Re: video;
But wait...]
Colosseum? As in the place where a competition is being held?
Re: video;
[But she is one to talk. Her kingdom values strength and honor. The knights often duel for sport.]
Re: video;
What do you mean? And what kind of fighting are we talking about at the Colosseum then?
Re: video;
Like I said, I don't pay much mind to the other cities.
Re: video;
I see. Well, thanks for giving me more information about this world.
It really helps me a lot.
Re: video;
Well, if there's anything else I can help you with, I can try.
Re: video;
Right now, I should probably head over to my new home.
Re: video;
I'm Anastasia.
Re: video;
It's great to meet you, Anastasia.
